The three gods looked at each other silently for quite a while until the silence was broken by Tyr, "what do we do now? Should we pass this up to the the higherups?"
Aphrodite and Hermès vehemently shouted, "NO!" That would be terrible for all three of them. A soul on the path to godhood must be treated very carefully and with upmost respect because most likely that soul would join their ranks in a few centuries. And the three had lost it. They're definitely screwed and they knew it.
Aphrodite coughed before saying, "No, we should really not do that. That fucking bitch Hera would fucking skin me…again." Anyone who saw Aphrodite could immediately tell she was the goddess of love and beauty, it was obvious, but she did have one or two personality traits that turned off some of the other deities. She would often swear like a sailor and had a, shall we say, intense temper. "What we need to do is find that shitty soul and if it's not already bound to something get it back on it's path before we're all fucked." 'And if I get the chance maybe a little punishment for that upstart soul.'
Hermès shivered slightly at the sadistic grin Aphy was sporting. He had been on the receiving end of that smirk one too many times and he knew if that poor soul was to be in their grasp Aphrodite will defiantly punish it. 'I have to help it out. No one, not even a soul on the path to godhood could easily escape Aphy's punishments. I'll have to find a way to bind it to something on that world so she can't touch it.'
Tyr on the other hand had no idea what was going on in the minds of his fellow gods. He being a loyal soldier to his king, Odin, felt the need to pass this situation on to the higherups but going against two semi ancient deities like Aphrodite and Hermès was not a smart idea. They could easily seal him until their rotation in the void is over in 41 years. So he decided to just go along with them.
"Well the first thing we need to do is go and find where that rift spits out and locate the soul. Then we can figure out what to do then," said Hermès. The other two nodded in agreement and left their station. Like idiots.

Emerson was disoriented. That thing that sucked her in caused her form to bend and flex in weird shapes and odd feeling of discomfort spread through her consciousness. It didn't hurt per say but it felt like someone had crammed her body in a suitcase and then sent her on a transatlantic flight on an airplane. As suddenly as her journey started it stopped and Emerson was spit out in a clearing about 100 feet in diameter surrounded by a dense forest. 'Where the hell am I?' She thought. Emerson decided to not spread her consciousness again in case she would find another one of those suitcase stuffers. Unlike in the void Emerson could see and even move her form through this forest. She look around her surroundings. The forest looked like any other forest on Earth but for some reason she felt like she was no longer on earth. 'Better than that damn void, that's for sure.' The trees were tall. Taller than any tree on earth. 'But wait what are those? Those arent trees?' Looking up to see the top of these so-called trees. They were definitely flowers. 200 foot tall flowers of all different species. Some looked obviously like roses and lilies but others she just couldn't identify. Giant black leafed flowers in a tulip shape. But these tulip shape flowers were definitely not tulips. Black liquid was dripping of the petals and landing on the forestry floor. When it landed the ground sizzled and burned away. 'Okay gigantic acidic flowers, that's not terrifying' Emerson thought. On other flower tops she could see bees collecting pollen but there weren't normal bees they were easily double the size of a human being. 'God this place is dangerous.'

While Emerson was admiring her surroundings, not to far away a pitiable girl was running through the flower forest, desperately trying to escape her pursuers. She had been running for hours now terrified of an arrow piercing her in the back. In fact she didn't know how she was able to run this fast for so long but she had to escape and get home to her dad.
It all started for the girl earlier this morning, she had decided to take a walk around the grounds of her family's mansion when three masked men grabbed her. She was gagged, blindfolded and shoved inside the back of a carriage. She had sat there and cried for hours while trying to undo the rope around her hands. Nothing was working and she was scared. She missed her dad and wanted to go home. Just thinking of how her death would gut the lonely man spurred her on to fight harder. She finally was able to free her hands and immediately took off the gag and blindfold and started in on her ankle ropes. Free and ready to run the girl opened the carriage door, rolled out and started running in the opposite direction of the traveling carriage. She had hoped that no one saw her but her fears realized when she heard shouts from the people who kidnapped her. The young girl of 20 ran and ran until she found herself in a certain clearing surrounded by her pursuers.

'What the fuck is going on!?' Emerson thought. She was just minding her own business when suddenly a girl with waist length bright red hair green eyes like the color of fresh grass wearing a once beautiful and intricate medieval style dress ran into the clearing only to stop. And look around the clearing. Emerson followed her gaze and saw the she and the girl were surrounded by masked men with swords and knives in hand.
"My father will kill you all if you touch me!" The girl screamed at the masked attackers. 'Must be a noble' Emerson thought. 'Who else would yell something like that to people who wanted to kill her. It seemed that all the people around Emerson couldn't see her. Because she was a soul? Who knows. Emerson was more into this situation than she was curious about her existence.
The masked men were silent after the girls threat. They did not retreat but did not advance either. 'Okay good' the girl thought. 'Maybe I can still escape.' She still had hope. Her dad would come.
Shewwww
Thunk
Emerson and the girl both locked eyes on the arrow now protruding from the girls chest. Blood dripped from her mouth and the would as she feel down to her knees. "No I won't sweetheart." Emerson saw a man, not in a black mask but in shiny armor with a crest of what seemed like a griffon holding a sword in its mouth, exited the forest perimeter, bow in hand.
The girls head swam with surprise and pain. She was slowly losing consciousness until she heard the familiar voice speak. "…Dad-dy?" The girl croaked.
"I'm sorry, but this had to be done. If only you weren't showing signs of your mother's heritage. Then maybe it wouldn't have come to this. I could've just sent you away to marry some noble far from my sight. But I saw your eyes change just like her. And I knew my daughter was a monster that needed to be put down." The girl didn't understand why did her Daddy, she person she loved most in this world kill her? Did he ever love her? Her mother? She had never met her mother but now she was dying and an indescribable rage filled her pierced heart. And then she was dead fallen over at her fathers feet glassy eyes staring up to the sky.
Emerson was stunned. She had no idea what was going on but apparently this father just brutally murdered his own daughter what a sick fuck. One of the masked men approached the knight, "my lord, what should we do with the body?"
The knight gazed down at the body of his former daughter, "leave this scum to rot and be eaten by the beasts." And then they all left. Nothing else was done to the pitiable young girl.
