It was almost time for Charlie to return from
rehearsal, and Shirley had simply attained home from her shift at the local children's clinic. She unlocked a bedroom window and let the calm Florida air inside.
As soon as Charlie drifted over the windowsill and disembarked on the bed, she began to remove her dress. When he emerged in falcon configuration in guise of her, holding up a piece of something in his brim, it could simply imply one thing.
