A life or death prophecy...how exciting.'
Percy thought sarcastically before she remembered that she was within a room full of powerful gods with great hearing.
"What do you mean? What prophecy?"
Athena spoke, curiosity overcoming anger for a moment.
Percy froze, her mind ran circles as to how she should reply, but noticing the curious faces of the gods, she couldn't help but smirk inwardly.
"That is none of your concern."
Percy stated pointedly at both gods and demigods as they all groaned, most especially Athena.
"What are you not telling us?"
Athena sounded frustrated.
"Hm...I wonder..."
Percy mused out sarcastically as a smirk crawled it's way to her lips.
"Besides, even if I wanted, the oath I have sworn would not allow, watch."
Percy cleared her throat, before speaking.
"There is a prophecy which states that the universe will fall prey to a new enemy and I have been placed at the centre as the void star's chosen on."
As Percy spoke, a layer of mist washed over them. Percy saw it all happen with her own eyes, as the mist effected and reality took a new shape.
'The curse of silence...'
Percy stared at them, watching their eyes daze and return to how they were originally, before the curse took effect.
"What did you say?"
Athena questioned, as though she hadn't heard. Other demigods were left just as confused.
"This 'criminal' has a right to remain silent."
She told them and smiled.
"If you want to find out then you may have to figure it out yourself."
Percy turned on her heel and began walking toward the pair of doors leading out of the throne room. Head held high, she spoke before leaving.
"I wish you luck within your coming battles."
----
Percy stood at the edge of camp half blood, the moon was high up and glowed as beautifully as every other night. She had gathered her things inside a back pack slung over her shoulder, the wind blew causing her open hair to flutter within it.
She gazed down towards the camp and closed her eyes for a moment. All bitter sweet memories made within the place replayed themselves within her mind. Even Anthony didn't believe her. When she had returned earlier, he had cursed at her and told her he wanted nothing to do with her anymore.
Percy was hurt, disappointed and in grief, but she allowed none of it to show. To the outside, it was as though she was unfazed, but she was in pain.
Pain which she couldn't even begin to describe.
Hiding her emotions had become second nature to her over the past years, pain and hurt and everything else had all been hidden away behind the mask of a leader. Now her emotions would be bottled behind the mask of a traitor instead, because that's what she was now.
As Percy petted the dragon Peleus a final time, the dragon let out a push huff, spoke let out from within the creature's nostrils and she felt the presence of immortals. Percy smiled faintly as she greeted them.
"Ladies Hestia and Aphrodite."
She turned to Hades and greeted him as well.
"Lord Hades."
The three nodded their heads.
"I'm so sorry Percy, I couldn't protect you despite understanding that you were innocent."
Aphrodite took Percy in a tight embrace, surprising the demigod.
"How?"
"I'm the goddess of love, doll. I have the ability to sense other emotions as well child. Your heartbreak, and pain, I was able to sense all of them while you underwent your trial."
Aphrodite smiled lightly, a smile which was unbefitting of the goddess. Her eyes gazed down as she continued.
"I'm sorry, I didn't do anything to protect you Percy."
Percy turned her eyes toward the other two gods and spoke.
"May I ask what you're doing here?"
"We come to bid farewell."
Hestia frowned slightly as she spoke.
"We're sorry Percy, we know well you would never betray Olympus and yet..."
"There is no need to say farewells."
Percy told them all, she gave a light smile as she gazed at Hestia.
"We will meet again. I guarantee it."
All three gods seemed taken aback by her words, but smiled nonetheless though a bit hesitantly. Clearly, they were unable to believe that they would be able to meet the demigod again after she left camp.
"Percy, if it is alright, may we bless you?"
"Bless?"
Percy question, surprised by what the three gods were requesting, however, she nodded her head though Albeit hesitantly.
Once she did though, three different beams of light shot towards her. Percy's body illuminated a light before it died down and she saw the three gods smiling towards her.
"My blessing allows for you to understand and speak french, you are able to use charm speak and alter your appearance in accordance to your will."
Aphrodite explained
"My blessing allows you to summon and manipulate fire, the ability to spread the hearth's warmth and summon meals."
"My blessing allows for you to manipulate darkness, shadows and sense death. You have the ability to summon the dead as well as use the 'curse of death' on those whom you please."
Percy bowed her head and spoke.
"Thank you, very much."
Percy spoke, unsure of how else express her gratitude towards them.
"Stay safe, Percy."
"I will."
