The next day, I rode on Nebula back to Volta and we were greeted with Rei and Tsuhori rushing towards us. I got off Nebula's back and Rei ran to me then hugged me and I smiled, hugging her back. I picked her up and she wrapped her legs around my waist, giggling a bit. I set her back down then looked at Tsuhori and she bowed at me, smiling. Nebula neighed and I looked at her.
"Oh yeah, my love. I want to give you a gift." I said and she looked at me, tilting her head a bit.
"What is the gift? Where is the gift?" She asked and looked around me.
"It's right here." I said then summoned the Crests of Blaze, Waves, and Plants. "These are the three Crests needed to summon Galvan and I want to summon him for you. I researched about Galvan and he is said to be one of the stronger dragons, so strong that he needed to be sealed away by the Elemental Dragons and a Dragon God. He will only listen to those he deems as worthy and I want to help you bond with Galvan. You would have much more power under your belt and would go beyond your normal abilities."
"You would do that for me? I mean I've tried to summon him before I knew you needed Crests to summon him and he would not answer to me. I am happy that you are willing to do this for me.." Rei smiled at me then looked at the three Crests.
I chuckled and made the Crests disappear. "We need to go to the Volta Temple to summon him. The Temple seems to be in the air as well above the thunderclouds. That's where we can summon him and most likely battle him. We will need extra help because I am kind of limited on power, and I know who exactly to ask."
Rei and Tsuhori looked at each other then looked back at me. I walked into the city and followed Nebula to Lythia's home. Rei and Tsuhori followed us as well. I walked to the door and knocked on it then Lythia answered the door and looked at me. She blushed a bit and looked at me.
"To what do I owe for this visit, my king?" Lythia asked and blushed even more when I stroked her hair.
"I require your assistance. Tsuhori, can you babysit for a while?" I asked.
"If it is your wish, Milord." Tsuhori nodded then Lythia let Tsuhori inside.
"He's sleeping right now, hopefully I will be back before he wakes. Come Creiros." Lythia said then Creiros flew off the coat hanger to outside.
"I will try to get you back to our son before he wakes up. Don't worry your head too much." I smiled at Lythia then walked off with Nebula.
Lythia watched me and felt her heart skip multiple beats. Her face was flushed when she noticed I said "our son". She and Rei hurried behind me. Rei summoned Zezua then hopped on its back. I got on Nebula's back then she flew upwards into the sky. Zezua flew after Nebula. Creiros transformed into her original form then Lythia got on her back. Creiros flew after us and we ascended to the Volta Temple.
We made it to the flying temple then landed on the floating island. I looked at the building and smirked. Rei and Lythia looked at me then at the building. I got off Nebula then summoned my sword. Rei got off Zezua and summoned her sword as well then watched me walk forward. Lythia got off Creiros and summoned her staff then quickly followed us. We walked inside of the building and looked around. The temple was in ruins as if it wasn't touched for hundreds of thousands of years. We followed Rei since she knew where to go in the Temple as she's been here before.
"This place kind of gives me the creeps. I purposely avoid temples for this very reason. The energy gives me an off feeling of incoming danger and impending doom..." Lythia said as she looked around.
I looked at Lythia then walked beside her and wrapped my arm around her. She leaned against me and blushed. "Don't worry, I won't let anything happen to you. You are safe in my hands.."
"That relieving to hear...Alastor wouldn't have said anything to me and would just allow me to be paranoid. But yeah...I hope things go according to plan.." Lythia said.
"They will. I know they will, I am Ryoma Miyazaki after all. Everything always goes to plan...most of the time. Even if they don't go to plan, we will find some back to bounce back up and overcome the obstacle." I smiled at Lythia and she smiled a bit.
"I know..." Lythia said softly.
Rei stopped in front of a large thundercloud bundle. "We are here. This is where Galvan can be summoned. Since you know how to do it Ryoma, you have the honors of summoning Galvan."
I nodded and let Lythia go then walked foward then Rei stepped backwards so I could begin the ritual of summoning Galvan. I summoned the three Crests and they floated towards the thundercloud then shined brightly. We all heard the roars of Pyroc, Rivule, and Therris. Thunder boomed loudly and lightning crashed down powerfully then a roar was heard and the thunder cloud began to transform into a large lightning dragon.
Rei looked in awe of Galvan and her eyes sparkled. Lythia looked amazed as well and watched the thundercloud materialize into a dragon with blue scales and the scales under the dragon was golden. Galvan had blue lightning raging around his body then he roared as he was awakened once again.
"It's really him...The Overseer of Volta...The Legendary Beast of Lightning, Galvan..! I never thought I would see the day I actually get to meet Galvan himself..." Rei muttered in awe.
Galvan roared then I pushed Rei out of the way of a massive bolt of lightning then grabbed Lythia and dodged more bolts of lightning. Lythia screeched and held onto me tightly.
"Nebula!" I called out then a neigh was heard and she swooped down with Creiros and Zezua.
We got on our beasts and prepared ourselves for a battle in the skies. Galvan flew in the sky and flapped his wings then Nebula, Creiros, and Zezua followed him. My sword transformed into its Faithkeeper Form.
"I'll provide support, for the three of us." I said then transformed into my Emperor's Form then my sword shined. "In my Emperor's Form, the supporting effects are more powerful, durable, and lasts longer. Since Creiros is also a Legendary Beast, she should be the main attacker. Nebula, you can cover the Creiros and Zezua, any form of lightning you can absorb, absorb it!" I said.
Creiros and Zezua screeched and Nebula neighed.
"Rei, you can boost Zezua's lightning abilities correct?" I asked.
"Yes, and I'm already on it!" Rei said.
"And you Lythia?" I asked.
"My support powers can boost only Creiros, so I'll be able to boost Creiros as necessary." Lythia said.
"Right, let's subdue Galvan." I smirked and pointed my sword at Galvan then the three beasts rushed into battle.
Nebula neighed and released a destructive beam at Galvan but he dodged it and sent a ball of lightning at us. I summoned a shield around Nebula and the ball of lightning it the shield and an explosion happened.
"Ryoma!" Lythia called out.
"It's alright!" I said then Nebula flew out of the smoke and sent a massive beam at Galvan, hitting him.
Galvan roared and shook his head. Galvan discharged multiple bolts of lightning them Zezua sped forward and absorbed the bolts of lightning then flew high in the air. Zezua released a powerful bolt of lightning at Galvan, but he absorbed the lightning. Creiros released a powerful dark beam at Galvan from her beak and Galvan roared then repelled the beam and hit Creiros with a powerful blast of lightning. Lythia and Creiros screeched in pain. I healed them by sending a healing cutting wave at them. Creiros balanced herself in the sky once again then flew upwards.
"Nebula!" I said.
Nebula neighed and her Crest shined on her head then she unleashed a powerful beam of dark energy at Galvan then an explosion happened. Galvan flew out of the smoke then hit Nebula with his tail and she let out a pained neigh as she began to crash down towards then floating island. I healed Nebula as fast as I could and she stopped herself then flew back up into the action.
"You okay, Nebula?" I asked and pet her neck. She neighed and nodded then looked at Galvan. "You took a pretty nasty blow from him, it's okay if you would like to relax and rest."
Nebula shook her head and looked back at me. She told me she was fine and could still battle.
"Alright, let's go!" I smiled at her.
Nebula neighed then flew into the action. Creiros summoned two portals of darkness then powerful beams were released from the portals, hitting Galvan. Galvan let out a pained roar then Nebula followed it up by releasing a purification beam at him, hitting him and Galvan roared. My sword changed into its Willbreaker Form.
"I'll finish this off!" I said then jumped off Nebula's back then held my sword to the sky and it shined brightly. "Final Glory!"
I bellowed and slashed down, releasing a powerful cutting wave of light down towards Galvan. Galvan looked at the cutting wave then his eyes widen and was hit by it. He roared as he was sent crashing down to the floating island. Nebula flew to me and I landed on her back then she flew to the floating island. Zezua and Creiros followed us. We landed on the floating island and I got off Nebula then walked over to Galvan.
"He's done. He's noticed our ambition. Rei, he's all yours." I smiled and looked at Rei.
Rei looked at me then got off Zezua then walked over to Galvan and she held her hand out towards him. He looked at Rei then closed his eyes and gifted her with his Crest of Volta. He also gifted me with the Crest of Volta then the Crest of Arcane shined a bit. Rei looked at her hand in awe. She was so happy she was speechless.
"That is my gift to you, my love." I chuckled and turned around then walked back towards Nebula.
"It's the best gift anyone could have ever given me...From here on out, I won't let you down Ryoma!" Rei looked at me happily and I looked back at her then chuckled.
"I know you won't." I said then got on Nebula. "Now, let's return to Volta."
"Right!" Rei said happily.
