Hoshiyo smiled and got off me. I got out of bed then summoned my luggage then took out some new clothes then went into the bathroom to get ready for the day.
After taking a shower and getting dressed, I left the bedroom to meet Hoshiyo and Koan in the dining room. I walked into the dining room and Hoshiyo looked at me then waved happily. Koan looked at me and smiled.
I walked to the table and sat down then looked at them. "Good morning." I smiled at them.
"Good morning!" Koan said happily.
"Good morning, love." Hoshiyo caressed my cheek.
"Where's Masuhiro?" I asked.
Hoshiyo set back and shrugged. "I don't know, he said that he had something important to do today. I don't know what he's planning. If I knew I'd tell you."
"I see. Well I'm ready to enjoy a delightful breakfast then get on with the plans for the day." I looked at them.
Hoshiyo smiled then a maid brought a tray over to me and set it down in front of me. She opened the lid and I looked at the well prepared breakfast. The three of us had breakfast together and made plans with one another for the day. We planned to play in the game room all day since there were more games Hoshiyo wanted to play with me.
We finished eating and got up from the table then the maids began to clean up. I sensed Masuhiro then stopped and turned around. Hoshiyo and Koan stopped and noticed Masuhiro pointing his sword at me.
"Ryoma. I challenge you to an official Royal Battle. I have no idea what you're planning or what you plan to do, but I refuse to have you marry Hoshiyo without my permission. The rules are simple. If you lose, you're banished from this Kingdom. If you win, I'll accept you as my own and I won't think bad of you from this point on." Masuhiro said.
"Ryoma, you don't have to fall into his silly games. I have no idea why he's still on about this. I made up my mind already, Masuhiro!" Hoshiyo said.
I smirked and closed my eyes. "You believe you can defeat me? I've slayed Rivule and Galvan plus I am the Emperor of an entire Country. Your power can not possibly match mine."
"We will see about that...Emperor." Masuhiro glared. "Meet me at the stadium within ten minutes."
Hoshiyo watched Masuhiro walk off then grabbed my arm. "You're going through with it..?! What if you lose?"
"I'm not going to lose. You two can watch if you wish as well. I can tell this won't be an easy battle, but I know for certain that I won't lose this battle." I smiled at Hoshiyo.
She looked at me and let go of my arm. "Alright...I believe you."
I nodded then hurried off to the stadium. Hoshiyo and Koan hurried the other direction to the stadium. I hurried to Nebula and she looked at me then I got on her back.
"To the Ezusha Stadium." I said.
She nodded and galloped off.
We made it to the stadium within ten minutes and I got off Nebula then made my way inside the stadium. There was already a crowd in the stadium ready to watch the fight between me and Masuhiro. As I looked ahead I noticed Masuhiro in a samurai's outfit and smirked.
"We made it." Hoshiyo said as she sat in the Royalty Section of the stadium with Koan beside her.
"You finally made it. It's nice to finally meet a royal who keeps his word and doesn't fall back." Masuhiro said then looked at me and summoned his katana.
"If I went back on my word, it would make me more of a coward much less a weakling in the eyes of a kingdom, and my people and family. If I say I'm going to do something...I will do it, no matter how hard it may seem." I said then held my hand out. "Arcane...come to me."
I summoned my sword and got in my Yeshan Stance.
"It's finally time people! Prince Masuhiro against Emperor Ryoma! A battle that could go down in history of Ezusha! We are cheering for you Prince Masuhiro!" The announcer cheered.
I looked at the crowd and noticed Hoshiyo and Koan in the Royalty Section. I smiled and closed my eyes then looked at Masuhiro. The horns blew and Masuhiro dashed to me and slashed quickly at me. I blocked his attacks then parried his next attack. He jumped backwards then vanished. His afterimages rushed around me and I looked at them. I sensed his attack then attempted to block the attack, but he appeared on the side of me and slashed down, cutting me.
"A clean hit! Using his Flash Step Technique he was able to move faster than Ryoma could see!" The announcer cheered.
I looked at Masuhiro and felt blood rolling down my side. I glared at him then he dashed to me again then rushed me with attacks. I blocked them then went for a counterstrike, but he dodged it and appeared behind me. I slashed in a circle then he blocked the attack and grunted. We entered a struggle, but I bellowed and my eyes shined. I pushed him back then vanished.
My afterimages rushed around him. He looked surprised at the fact that I copied his technique.
"What's this?! Emperor Ryoma copied Prince Masuhiro's Flash Step Technique!" The announcer said in shock.
"Anything you can do...I can do and make it better." I chuckled then began rushing him with attacks while using the Flash Step Technique.
"Rush! Rush! Rush! It's a rush of attacks from Ryoma!" The announcer stood up and the crowd watched in awe.
I appeared in front of Masuhiro then kicked him away. He groaned then slid backwards and panted. I watched him and smirked.
"I won't let you win...I won't let you beat me in this battle!" Masuhiro bellowed and his aura surged powerfully. "I won't allow my sister to make the same mistake twice! I won't allow her to go through that pain again!"
I felt the high winds from his aura then my right eye shined. I watched him then grunted and dodged the sword beams Masuhiro shot at me. I slashed down and split a massive beam in half then caused it to disperse.
"We are now seeing the true power of Prince Masuhiro! The Crest of Galaxia is shining brightly!" The announcer yelled.
"Sword Arts: Galactic Buster!" Masuhiro bellowed and slashed down, releasing a massive and destructive light beam at me.
My sword switched to its Omni Protector form and I slammed my sword into the ground, blocking the attack. An explosion happened and the crowd watched in anticipation. Masuhiro panted and looked at the smoke. He looked surprised seeing a light shining.
"Is that all a Prince can do..?" I asked then the smoke cleared revealing me in my Emperor's Form.
"W-What..?! That was one of my strongest attacks! Fine...you leave me no choice. If you won't fall from that...I'll use my one hit attack.." Masuhiro said then his aura surged. He bellowed and his red eyes shined brightly. He dashed to me and his sword shined brightly. "Heaven's Rend!"
He slashed through me and the entire stadium went silent. He sheathed his blade then a delayed slash happened. He looked surprised hearing the clash. The entire stadium looked surprised as well.
"He...He...blocked the...Heaven's Rend..?" The announcer said in disbelief.
I smirked and looked back. "The Eye of Arcane offers more than just the ability to copy anything, but it also provides the ability to sense anything and everything including a delayed attack or an invisible person. Perfected Senses is the name of my personal ability when I am in my awakened state."
"No...I won't allow you to win! I won't allow you to beat me! Hoshiyo will not make the same mistake twice!" Masuhiro yelled and his aura surged and sparkled. "Final Arts: Dimensional Breaker!"
Masuhiro slashed down and sent a massive dark beam at me. I looked at the beam then bellowed and my eyes shined brightly. I dashed forward and my sword changed into its Faithkeeper Mode and I summoned a barrier around me. I bellowed and slashed down as the barrier broke.
"Hoshiyo isn't making a mistake, so open your eyes and move forward from the past! Supreme!" I yelled and slashed in a circle, hitting Masuhiro. He groaned and was sent flying in the air. I spun around then slashed again, hitting him once more. "Emperor's!"
I jumped up and slashed at him twice, hitting him both times then slashed down and my sword shined brightly.
"Impact!" I bellowed and flew down to the ground with a powerful slash.
I crashed to the ground and stuck my sword in the ground a few inches away front of Masuhiro's face. He looked surprised and his aura vanished.
"I was just a few inches off. If you were an actual threat, you would have been dead." I said then stood up then my sword vanished.
"Emperor Ryoma...is the winner of the Royal Battle! Emperor Ryoma seems to be extremely powerful and proved to us that he's not just any Emperor!" The announcer said.
I walked away and reverted to my normal form. I smirked and walked out of the stadium.
"Whoa...This is the power of the Emperor of 1000 Techniques up close...That was an amazing battle.." Hoshiyo said and looked at Koan who was staring at me with amazement. They watched me leave the stadium then looked back at Masuhiro. They got up to check up on Masuhiro and rushed onto the battlefield.
"He's much stronger than I originally thought. I should've known...he was to sure of himself. He allowed me to hit him so he could read and copy my abilities. His victory was guaranteed from the start." Masuhiro said to himself then noticed Hoshiyo and Koan hurrying to him.
"Are you okay, brother?" Hoshiyo asked and watched Masuhiro stand up.
"I'm alright. I just...need to think about what Ryoma said. Maybe I am stuck in the past.." Masuhiro said then walked off. Hoshiyo watched him worried and sighed.
