VICTORIA FOX-
I obviously sent Elizabeth home before going to Aaron's office. I mean she is pregnant now and I feel like she has had faced a lot of drama so I didn't want her to get involved with more. Jake was very understanding in such situations, I mean he is the kind of guy who will calm you down just by talking to you. My thoughts were running wild as we entered the huge office building, I hope she doesn't force herself on him.
I just don't want anything to ruin what Aaron and I have.
But it is kind of nice to actually save Aaron instead of him always trying to save me. Surprisingly, I am really not worried about Aaron cheating on me, even though I knew how crazy he was about Katrine. I mean she is the first and only woman Aaron has said I love you to. He hasn't said it to me yet and I don't feel like saying it first as that would pressurize him into saying it back and actually not meaning it. I am in no hurry, I don't mind him taking his sweet time to say those words. But I am also worried that he'll have an obligation to say that he loves me just because I will be carrying his child. I mean-
Okay Victoria, you are overthinking again.
As we reach the office, it was kind of empty, obviously it was after 5 pm, and Aaron doesn't like to have people working after that time as it's important to spend time with their family. As we reached the door, I wanted to open it and say 'Aahaa' but Jake stopped me and we just sneaked in his office through the back door to hear the conversation between them.
I wanted to punch Katrine when I saw how revealing her dress was and how beautiful she looked.
I never dress like that, maybe Aaron will lose all his interest in me.
"No, he won't, stop mumbling shit and listen to their conversation." Jake whispers back, surprising me at his answer.
I guess I am so nervous that I am saying things out loud.
"Yes, you are Victoria. Don't worry, we are here and everything is going to be fine." He consoles me as we look at them through the slightly opened back door, I was about to give him a reply but I hear Katrine speak.
"Don't call the security, come on honey! Don't be so formal with me, we were together for years, I don't believe that you have no residual feelings for me. Finally "your wife" is not here, so that we can talk properly." She says with a beautiful smile on her face as she keeps her hand on top of Aaron to stop him from making a call.
That bitch.
"Ouch Victoria!" Jake whisper yells at me and I look down to see I am squeezing his hand hard in anger. I quickly apologize before taking my hand off his.
"The only reason I didn't talk to you was because I didn't want to, that decision was never influenced by Victoria. I don't want to see your face and talk to you, so please step out before I have to call security to kick you out of here." He says in an obviously rude tone as he snatches his hand away from hers before looking at her dead in the eyes.
"Aaron, I can understand you still being mad at me for what I did, and I deserve it but now enough is enough with the act, when Benjamin told me that she is not really your wife that's it's all contractual, I wasn't surprised. I knew you still loved me, this was all just an act, but now you don't have to do it anymore. I promise I'll make it up to you." She said as she leaned over the desk showing off a deep cleavage but Aaron just stared at her face with a clenched jaw.
He was really angry.
"Well it might have started off with nothing but now it's the best thing that has ever happened to me. I am sorry to say this, but I was never in love with you. I was blinded by infatuation. But now that I am with Victoria, I know what it is actually like to be in love with someone. If Victoria ever did something like what you did, I'd still take her back, because I can't live without her. I'd still forgive her because that how bad I want her to be a part of my life." Aaron explains and my heart stops beating. I can't believe my ears.
He is confessing his love for me to Katrine.
"You loved me too. It's the same thing Aaron, you took care of me, you were always there for me and we can still have it. We both can be happy, you always told me that you loved me a lot." Katrine explained to Aaron as tears slipped out of her eyes when Aaron shook his head no.
"No, I was immature and young. I treated you well because that's how a decent human treats another human. But with Victoria, It's hard for me to put her into words because I've never loved someone the way I love her. With you, it was just an attachment or an infatuation as when you left me, I started hating you. But with her, I care and love her beyond all rationality. If she leaves me one day for someone else, I would let her, because I want her to have everything she wants, no matter how much it destroys me." Aaron breathes out as he pours his heart out and rubs his face in frustration.
I on the other hand had no words, I was speechless. I didn't know he was capable of feeling such emotions and I had no idea that he could feel something like that for me.
"Aaron, you are mine, I have a few things that will destroy you, your family and your 'precious' Victoria's reputation if you don't do as I say." Katrine warns him as he rolls his eyes at her.
"Do whatever you want, I don't care anymore." He states as he clicks on his intercom to call the security but Katrine stops him again.
"Listen, just in case you change your mind, when it gets too much. I want you to come to me, beg me for forgiveness, then take me on this desk and fuck me savagely like the wild lust filled beast you were always like. I haven't had an orgasm like that for years. Then you have to marry me and then we will live happily ever-" Her words were cut off as I tackle her before pulling her hair hard making her scream in pain.
"You want to sleep with my husband? MY HUSBAND??" I shout as continue pulling her hair till it almost rips out of her scalp, "I am going to murder you, right here, right now."
I hear Aaron laughing but he freaks as soon as he hears the promise in my words. I was about to bald her fake blonde hair and shove it down her throat when Aaron picks me up my by waist to stop while I kick in the air to break free and commit a well-deserved murder.
"Katrine, I am going to show you out and report you for trespassing, maybe if we are lucky, you won't get a bail and spend the night in the slammer." Jake explains sweetly making me laugh and calm down a bit as he gently shows her out.
"That bitch-" I stop complaining when I see Aaron rubbing the back of his neck nervously, "What happened?" I ask as I raise my eyebrows in confusion.
"How much did you hear?" He asks as licks his lips a little and smiles at me.
"Everything." I gulp as my heart beats loudly when we talk about his confession.
"I know you said you wanted to take things slow but I can't unlove you, I am being honest with you, I think about you all the time and I just can't stop. I knew the second I met you that there was something about you that I needed. But turns out it wasn't something about you that I needed, it was just…you." I couldn't breathe, I couldn't speak. I was overwhelmed by him. Usually I know exactly what to say but today I had no words. I couldn't think.
"Don't worry, you don't have to say anything, I can wait, for days, months even years. I don't mind, take all the time you need. Just don't leave me ever, because I can't live without you and honestly I don't want to either." He says as he breathes out and looks at me who hadn't said a word for the last couple of minutes.
"Okay this is the longest you've stayed quiet and honestly you are scaring me a little. Nothing has to change, its-"
"I love you too, Aaron." I chuckle as I hear him breathe out in relief when I pull him down by his neck to kiss him sweetly on his lips.
"Man! That's was the most frightening few minutes of my life." He says making me laugh as he kisses me again, just deeply.
I wasn't scared of Katrine or Benjamin anymore.
I know Aaron and I can survive anything easily now.
