I look around the room with me and Elize sitting on different ends of a table waiting for Elize to serve our supper as I wonder where Julia, Lynn and the soldiers are, and then;
"Hmmmmm!! Aine let's play a game while we await Elize to bring our supper," she coughs in order to draw the boredom out of the room.
"I accept your challenge!!" I am very competitive after all.
"The game is well renowned in our country - - it's called 'The Curse Game,' the name sounded very strange but okay.
" What are the rules of this game--my dearest Elize, "I try to get the information out of her in order to win.
She surprisingly covers her face with her hand embarrassed as I strike a final blow," Demon lord Elize--ever since I met you two weeks ago, I have fallen in love with you - - so please be my bride."
"Okay!! Okay!! I will tell you about the game---" "COUGH!! COUGH!!" She coughs in order to redirect my attention to the game's data about to be revealed.
"The game simply works on whether you lie when I ask you a question, so let me give you a brief summary of this game."
To summarize this nonsensical game - - the rules are only three.
RULE 1:Only three questions are asked by the questioner.
RULE 2: All entities playing the game must ask the three questions when their turn arrives.
RULE 3 : Any participant who refuses to answer the questions will be cursed to lose something they truly desire.
"So let's start..." I look at Elize and wonder where her expressionless face went off to and reply in earnest.
"Yes, let's get to it!!" "I hope you're not playing around when you damaged our city." Asmodeus who is holding two plates suddenly speaks with utter hate.
"Um--I humbly apologize," Aine got up from his chair and knelt down and apologized because he knew who she was referring to exactly.
"Anyways let's start this curse game," Asmodeus who was holding the meal steadily put the plates on the table and challenged us to play.
