Chapter 9 - chapter 8

I just couldn't believe what Ryan and Lisa just told me. Viola, my best friend who I trusted with everything, is one of the most famous dragon warriors in the world? And she never told me about that! I just stood there, Ryan and Lisa still staring at me. Slowly Lisa stepped closer, she wanted to put her hand on my shoulder, but I flinched and slapped her hand away. Oh shit, now I'm going to have a panic attack. My hands began to shake violently and my breathing became faster and faster. I tried with all my might to hold back my tears, but I couldn't, they streamed uncontrollably down my cheeks. Now Lisa took me tightly in her arms and stroked my head. It only took a few minutes for me to calm down again and I gently pushed her away from me. "What are we actually going to do now? Everyone's gone and I guess we should find them again, plus I tucked my ankle or something." With puffy eyes, I looked at the two dragons. "We could track down the others , but your ankle is a problem. How about I start looking for the others and you two try to find Minerva, which shouldn't be that hard, she's always in the Moon Lake cave anyway." Lisa nodded. Ryan turned to me for a moment and I nodded to him as well, then he turned and calmly walked into the forest, but you could hear the wood crack after a few seconds after he disappeared between the trees. Questioningly, I looked at Lisa. "He turned, we take off our clothes before we turn, because otherwise they will rip apart." I nodded again, and Lisa, completely ignoring what she had just said, transformed with her clothes on, which accordingly then fell haltly to the floor. She pressed her belly against the floor and spread her wing slightly so that I could climb up better, but I didn't move an inch. My eyes sparkled as I looked at her in her dragon form. She was so beautiful, the black scales shining beautifully in the sunlight, and the white horns sticking out of her head. But most beautiful of all was the white pattern that covered her wings. She had her big head pointed in my direction and blew warm air into my face, which made me wake up from my trance. With difficulty I pulled myself onto her back and held myself wherever I could. With a slight jerk, Lisa stood on all fours and made her way into the forest. The big trees that seemed so huge before were quite a bit smaller on Lisa's back. In the treetops I could discover now and then a few nests. I wondered if these nests also belonged to birds, like those at the human world, or to other beings from this world. "What actually lives in these nests?" I asked curiously. Lisa snorted briefly until she said in her deep dragon voice. "You've probably heard of the hippogriffs before, right?" Hippogriff? Yes I had. "Aren't they the ones from Harry Potter?" "Yes." So I was right, but something confused me a bit. "But how do people know what the hippogriffs look like?" Lisa meandered through a few closely spaced trees. "Many creatures from our world have been seen by humans before, we also have something like fairies here, which are so to speak little helpers of us dragons, in different areas, or the kelpie, they exist here too." I just nodded. What should I say to that? The whole thing was just too overwhelming. All the fantasy creatures I thought didn't exist were real. Lost in thought, I didn't realize until Lisa lay down on the ground that we were standing in front of a big hole that was in a mountain. "Get off, we're here." A little confused I got off her back, is this the entrance to the Moon Lake cave?
