"Ohh sweetie, don't roll your eyes at me. You are just telling me that you want another kiss with me," he whispered to her, giving her a smirk on his face causing her heart to race faster.
Althea refused to look at Allan after that last remark. She kissed him, and he's acting as if it was all a game. "F*ck you, this isn't a game!" she exclaimed aloud.
"I need to leave," she said, but he gently pushed her shoulders back down on the bed. Hurt flashes through his eyes, and seeing him upset hurts her.
"No, you will stay here with me, where you belong," he said solemnly.
"I don't belong with you, and I'm sorry, but I'm leaving," she exclaimed.
"No, you are my mate, and I will not let you go."
"F*ck his dumb and their possessive nature!" she exclaimed angrily to herself.
"I don't take orders from anyone, especially you, so I'm leaving whether you like it or not," Allan grumbled in response to her disrespect for him. He better get used to it because that's how it's going to be while she's here.
"I am your mate, and you will do as I say," he said, his gaze fixed on her. "Fine, if he says I'm staying, I'd rather be alone."
"Get out," she says, pointing to the door and glaring at him.
"No, this is my room, and I have every right to stay with my roommate," he says, crossing his arms over his chest to appear intimidating. Althea groan and slam her head back on the pillow which was a big mistake for her wounds.
"F*ck! Are you okay—" He didn't even finish his sentence before Althea interrupted him.
"Leave me alone. I know you don't care about me. You're just up to something. I can't handle this situation right now, so please just leave me alone." Althea looks into his eyes, noticing the pain and hurt. She hated doing this to him, but this was a lot to take in. He walked over to her, reluctantly nodding his head. Before walking towards the door, he leans down and kisses her on the forehead. Before opening the door, he turns around and looks her in the eyes before leaving her alone.
All she wants is to fall asleep, wake up at home, and dismiss this as a terrible nightmare. But she knows she isn't dreaming; this is the real thing.
~
One hour later.
Allan was gone at the moment, leaving her alone in his apartment. "I need to escape," she mumbled as she looked down to see that she was chained to the bed by a silver chain that rested outside of her clothes.
She could drag the bed, but she didn't know how much time she had. To get away, she had to be astute. He may torture her if she escapes once and is immediately apprehended. She wants him to supposedly trust her, but that is unlikely to happen. She was only here to use her healing abilities and strength. To be despised.
The front door knob squeaked open, revealing Allan and three other people. She rolled to the far edge of the bed.
"Who's that?" one of the blonde guys asks as he sits down on the couch, pointing to her.
Another person joins him, "Why isn't she dead yet?" another man wonders.
"Oh great, more murderous wolves. I wish they would all die, sounds awful," she thought to herself, rolling her eyes, but thousands would be spared. That, however, is not how life works. There are three types of people: good, bad, and neutral.
Everything comes together in the end. " Well, don't ask. It's a long and funny story," Allan says vaguely as he sits at the end of her feet. Unless you pressed him for more information, he seemed to speak in this manner.
"But do you mind telling us?" the blonde guy asks, his deep British accent fitting him well. She had to admit that they are all quite attractive. "F*ck, focus Althea it's not time to fantasies about them," she said to herself as she shook her head.
Allan smirked and glided back, leaning against the headrest next to her. "Anyway meet Althea," he said as he placed his hand on her head.
"Her class and another had a field trip to my cell. The Sheriff had a plan for finding my mate, and she managed to figure it out," Allan explained as she raised an eyebrow, "Ohh, she's smart huh," the blonde guy said.
"Yes, smart enough to find a way how I'm going to escape in this hell place," she whispered as she rolled her eyes secretly.
"I can hear you, sweetie. Don't ever try," he smirked. "Anyway, she knew we were mates, and before she left, I confirmed it. The Sheriff returned them to me the next day and released me. They were following my every move until I left the prison. Althea there didn't eat the food that tracks and temporarily blinds you," she twists her head. "Tracks? I see we're going all out if I just ate that stupid cupcake," she smiles thinking that she was right that the sheriff was planning something.
"And then I found my mate locked in her room, trying to kill herself; must say, she was close," he laughed a bit, wrapping an arm around her shoulder. That's the most he's ever said. She thinks he can say more than baby words and mentally smiles at her remark.
"Hah, smart chick. You better watch out, Allan, or she will be the end of you," the second guy says as he turns to face her. "My name is Richard Rollo, by the way."
The first one looks at her and says, "Mates won't kill their mates, no buts. Hi, I'm Xian Groggy." Althea nods, everyone was saying their last name, which she found odd but understandable.
"I'm Henry Gomez," the third one says, smiling. She freezes when she hears his surname, Gomez, because Henry and Anthony share the same surname. Anthony mentioned having a brother, but she has never met him. "Could this be him?" she wonders.
Allan notices her reaction and laughs briefly before speaking. "Oh yeah... your little brother was with her on that field trip; they appear to be pretty close. Anthony is it?" he asks, looking at her for a response.
Her eye twitches as she is stared down; "Yeah, so?" she says sarcastically.
"He talked about having a best friend when I visited a while ago, I guess that's you," Henry laughs. She nods slowly, hiding her face.
"Be careful, Allan, Anthony is very protective of her," Henry warned him.
"He hasn't stopped texting and calling her, and he even managed to hack into the phone's camera," Allan said, staring at her.
"Wait, he had my phone? If I could just find it, I could tell Anthony I'm fine; I know he is worried beyond words right now," she thought to herself as she tried to search for her phone.
"Just saying," Henry shrugged, "but what are you going to do with her anyway? She is pretty small and terrified of you," his voice averted to a dull tone. Althea was perplexed by his reaction to hearing about his brother. She had no business being there because they were family. But she's still intrigued about why he's with Allan.
Anthony never mentioned Henry.
"Well, I'm going to toy with her, just like I do with my victims, but without the killing," Allan said with a smile. With his arm around her, she suddenly felt a lot more uneasy.
"She's just going to keep trying to kill herself, and then she will be an empty shell, and it won't be any fun anymore, trust me," Henry said, shaking his head.
"Maybe you should both do the mate stuff," Henry added.
"Mate stuff?" Allan inquires.
"That is your job to figure out, not mine. Anyway, we three have to go to the bar to meet up with our newest victims. See yah Alpha and bye Munchkin," Henry said as he stood up and walked away, the other two trailing behind him, leaving her and Allan alone.
"So he's their Alpha, then," she mumbled.
"I feel bored. Hmm, well you are still my toy," he said, groaning and turning away. She didn't want to be a toy for a sadist killer. It would get old for him eventually, and she would be discarded. She then felt his hand rubbing up and down her back. "However, it will be better, and you know why," he smirked.
"Yeah I knew exactly that you are just using me so you could be stronger," she couldn't bring herself to say as she rolled her eyes at him, clenching her fist. Althea was so eager to punch him but she was just controlling herself.
~
Althea lay on the bed, staring into space, trying to think of ways to get away from Allan. She simply cannot leave here, living in fear and pain, terrified of what he might do to her. The only way out is to flee, which is exactly what she intended to do.
She can try to flee when he's gone, but she doesn't trust any of his friends because they're all loyal to him. She must learn every inch of this mansion to escape, or she must play nice with him until he allows her to accompany him outside. That is a good plan for her because she could try to flee and then take advantage of the opportunity, then call Anthony for help.
Althea believes she will stick to her plan. She was so engrossed in her thoughts that she didn't notice Allan walk in.
As he entered the bedroom, she tensed up and didn't move a muscle. He inhaled deeply while pressing his face against her neck. He suddenly lifted her body and threw her on top of him, gripping her tightly. She tried to get his hands off of her, but he gave her a look that said he would punish her if she didn't comply.
He grabbed her, and she felt very uncomfortable, but she said nothing remembering her plan she kept quiet. "I love your body," he says, running his hands over it.
When his phone rang, he was about to kiss her. When his phone rang, he went to get her. He got her off of him and took the phone from the nightstand. He talked to someone for a while before hanging up.
When she looked up, Allan was staring at her. She got out of bed and went to the bathroom to wash her face. When she walked out, Allan was in the bed, completely terrified of him, and she remained motionless.
"Are you going to stand there or come into our bed with me?" he asked.
She moved slowly into the bed before he forced her to lie on his chest once more. She fell asleep in his arms slowly.

When Allan entered the bedroom, he heard the shower running. When Allan realized Althea was in the shower, he stripped naked and walked beside her.
Althea became aware of the hands behind her back. She tensed up and didn't move a muscle, knowing it was him who was clutching her body so tightly. He knelt and breathed deeply into her neck.
"You smell lovely, Sweetie," he said.
"What are you doing in here?" she inquired.
"I heard the shower and couldn't help but want to shower with you," Allan explained.
"Can you please come out?" she begged.
"No, why should I?" he said again.
"Then, I'll go since I'm done showering," she said, coldly.
