Immediately they entered her room Haley turned to lock the door and head straight for the bathroom. She invited klinsmann to the bathroom with an urgent look on her face.
"What is the matter? Who abducted you? He asked looking at her curiously..
"Lower your voice i don't want anyone to hear this conversation" She said her voice in a whisper this time as she handed him the paper she kept in the little pocket of the short she wore.
She narrated everything that had happened to her and this time she didn't hide the place of the paper in her story.
Klinsmann eyes widened with shock when he heard her story as he glanced at the piece of paper in his hand critically .
" this is obviously from one of your exs. Can you think of anyone capable of pulling up such a stunt? He asked still having a good look at the paper in his hand.
"That is the problem. I cannot think of any of them that is capable of this stunt. I also don't want to close the scope. We should also focus on other people that know me very well " Haley said with alot of worry in her voice. She wasn't comfortable that the culprit could be someone who was so close to her .
At that moment the phone of Klinsmann and he hurriedly picked the call.
"Deputy klinsmann on the phone. Fill me in with the latest " he said with a flat tone.
Haley watched as Klinsmann kept nodding his head from time to time as he listened to whatever information he was receiving from the other end.
"Thank you very much. Call me once you receive any new information" He ended the call before turning to Haley with a sign of frustration.
"What is the matter? She asked curiously knowing whatever was happening was not related to her.
"I will have to run along soon. We have a lead on the suspect who killed the daughter of the minister but we have nothing on yours now " he said showing her was more concerned about her case than the good news he got.
"That's fantastic. I will be coming with you immediately she said she went into her wardrobe to her uniform
"Wait where do you think you are going. You just came back from a traumatic experience you should be resting not going out again " he said standing before her to prevent her from doing anything else.
Haley smiled and did a therapeutic breath in and out to control her emotions before saying what was on her mind.
"How many years have you known me Klinsmann .you should know by now i not one to clear my head by sleeping or resting. I clearly may head by...
Working " he said completing her statement with a shake of the head .
At this stage there was no stopping her. Haley finds fulfilment in working cases and solving them. Besides she was still very much curious to know if her abduction case have anything to do with the murder.
"You know me very well then " She said patting him on the cheek.
"I will be waiting for you outside .Please be fast" He said as he left her room so she could change .
Haley quickly had a shower and dressed up quickly while whistling a song to herself. She was in high spirit. It was always the case with her when it comes to her work.
She searched around for her pistol but couldnt find it in her room she decided to head to the semi armoury her father kept in the mansion. It was a room where almost every military weapon was kept. Her father had on many occasions take her pistol to keep over there anything she doesn't keep it properly .
As she she was about to enter the room she noticed the door to the room was already slightly opened which was awkward. She tiptoed to the room to see her father in a conversation with the captian of her station,Captain Neon.
"How could captain Neon had come and not even altered her first she wondered. As she wanted to enter she heard her father giving him an instruction.
'I want you to find that person responsible for the abduction of my daughter. I want that person dead or alive. Preferably dead "
The intuition sent cold shivers through the spine of Haley. It was not like she was totally against her father but this time she felt there is a deep connection between her and her abductor hence she must locate him first no matter what.
