Chapter 1 - A disguised answer?

In an old warehouse located just outskirt of the town of Blackpool twenty-eight years old Haley Drinkwater lies on the cold hard floor still clothed in her wedding garment. Her long curly black hair have been rough handed and one can easily mistake her for an homeless person who have recently ran into some piece of good clothing.

Haley opened her eyes slowly as he eye took time to adapt to the new environment around her. The warehouse was being used for the storage of household items but at this hour it was isolated..

A confused look clouded the face of Haley as she finally regained consciousness and sit up. Her memories were not helping as she seem to have lost track of everything including time and location. One look at her her gown and her memories came rushing back to her.

She could remember she was preparing for her movement to the church when she lost track of everything. What she could remember very well was that she was about to be married to Anthony. A marriage she has never been happy about. She remembered how she had almost fought with her father about this marriage and sighed.

She grunted and tried to pick herself up. Sharp pains immediately went through her body from different direction. Somebody must have rough handed her she reasoned. It became clear to her that she was abducted but she could not fathom who would abduct her and not border about tying her up. More shocking was the fact that who ever abducted her must be very daring to abduct the only daughter of an army general.

She slowly stands up to her feet and paused when she remembered something else.

"Is it possible God answered heard my prayers and sent an angel to abduct me? " She asked herself as her eyes widened in shock.

In the morning of her wedding she had made s prayer to God to save her from this marriage by any means possible.

"No I should not be silly " Haley said hitting herself on the head.

"God would not save me like this. He would have done it in better way. This is the handwork of a man and I must make sure to deal with the person " she said shaking her head stubbornly as she corked her fist asif ready to get in a fight.

Suddenly her eyes caught sight of a table that some distance from her that was set with plates covered and two bottles of water. She walks up to it with mixed feelings in her mind. The pains in her body immediately vanished to be replaced by hunger. Seeing the table with the plate made her salivate as she was sure it was food.

Without thinking she opened the plate and was met with another shocker. There on the plate was fried rice, plantain and friend eggs. It was her best food. It immediately sent signals ti her brain that whoever abducted her must know her very well.

Without thinking she dug into the food hoping to satisfy her hunger first before thinking of anything else.

" This food taste so good but wait what if its poisoned? She reasoned as she stops in her attempt to throw another two spoons into her mouth.

"If I was to be killed I would have been dead already " she concluded as she went back to the food befor her.

" No matter the situation you find yourself always take time to eat. There is nothing a problem without a solution. A full stomach would be able to think well.

Those are the words of her mother that kept ringing in her head as she seeked for self justification.

She reached out for the bottle of water beside her. Another coincidence. It was her favorite bottle water company. Even in her present state she couldn't hold herself from smiling. She was now sure someone who knew she wasn't happy with the planned marriage must have done this for her. Her mind immediately went to Klinsmann her partner in the job. He must know something about this she was sure.

As she took the bottled water a piece of paper fell freely from under the bottle.

"Finally I must have been left a clue" she said with happiness in her heart.
