They walk silently past every shop in the streets.
"Where do you want to go?" He asked as they walks,
"I... I... uhm... how about you, mister?" she said, confounding.
He pause thinking for a second and replied, "... Let's go to the market."
"Yes? yes..." She said in surprise.
He stop walking and asked, "Do you have something you want to buy?"
"Uhm... I don't know." She said, depressed.
Roswald saw her in low spirit he awkwardly patted her head in comfort.
She was surprised and happy when he patted her on the head.
"Let's get going..." he said calmly as he retracted his hand.
"Y-yes," she responded happily.
They walk in silence in the markets street, Della was happy on the way but as they got closer to more people on the way, her body trembles and her complexion turns dim.
Roswald notices and comes to a halt, "What's wrong?" He asked.
She was silent looking ahead at the street crowding with people.
Roswald without uttering a word carried her in his arm and walk away from the streets.
She was startled when he suddenly caress her in his arms, she couldn't say anything but stood very still until they arrive at the place where flowers bloomed beautifully in plain sight.
She was amazed by the scenery in front of her that she didn't notice that Rosawald had put her down.
the wind was blowing hard but gently, the flowers happily swaying as the wind passes by, she closes her eyes and takes a deep breath, and opens her eyes to see the blinding view of the sky within the flowery scenery.
Roswald was staring at her with a smile on his face but soon he comes to his senses and patted her head.
She was startled and says, "I-I'm sorry, mister," in panic.
"What for?" he asked calmly with confusion.
"I've bothered you, even though I was the one who asked you to take me outside," she said, gripping her hand tightly and frowning.
He patted her head and says, "It's no problem, I also wanted to take a walk outside... your complexion comes back to normal, are you alright?" in concern and with slight hesitation.
"Y-Yes... Mister, thank you," she said with a smile, still clenching her hand tightly.
"There's no need for formalities... just be comfortable with me," he said in awkwardness, scratching his head.
She was stunned and happy by what he said that she became deafeningly silent, unable to respond to his word.
After the brief conversation, the two fell silent as they seated and relaxed, gazing at the scenery.
Della dazes, she decided to lie on the grass under the big tree and eventually falls asleep, Roswald sits down to watch over her.
Four' o'clock when the sun is about to set, she wakes up to find him sleeping peacefully beside her, she was stunned and her stomach grumbles and she realizes it is nearly sundown.
She jolted Roswald awake by reaching her hand towards him hesitantly.
"Mister, wake up," she said calmly, poking his side.
"Did I fall asleep?" Roswald inquires as he slowly rises.
"Y-yes," she replied, skittishly.
He was conflicted by how peacefully he was sleeping, letting his guard down and then Della's stomach grumbled again and brought him back to reality.
"You hungry?" he asked.
"Uh... yes," she admitted, embarrassed.
"Let's go back..." he says as he extends his hand, "I didn't know that it was almost sunset..." he added.
"Yes," Della says as she reaches back.
Roswald sighed in disbelief but didn't show his emotions. He carries her once again in his arm and sprinted back to the inn swiftly.
Della who was taken by surprise screamed as she was before as he ran at a high speed, but she got used to it halfway through.
They arrive at the inn, He puts her down on the ground and opens the door loudly by accident, the innkeeper and the customers who were eating at their table were all surprised that they were stunned for a moment.
Della was flustered and terrified, but as Roswald was right beside her, she calmed down a little.
"Welcome back, you two, how was the outing?" Solana welcome them warmly.
"Sorry about that..." he apologizes bowing his head.
"Oh, that's fine the door was a little broken this morning I didn't think that it would be destroyed completely..." Solana said, snickering.
"Anyway come in and be seated... Everyone continue with your meal." She added.
"U-um, sorry for the commotion..." She said flustered, bowing her head in desperation.
They were all stunned for a while and laugh out loud and says, "It's alright young lady come in we will fix the door for you."
"Th-thank you very much." She said smiling brightly while shyly hiding behind Rosenwald.
"Dear, can you fix the door right away?" Solana said with a bit of trouble shown on her face.
"I'll do it right away..." The innkeeper responded.
"Ah, right you two what do you want to eat?" Solana inquired with a warm smile.
"Anything will do," he replied.
"Child, is there anything you want?" Solana asked.
"A-anything," She replied, timidly.
"Oh, I see, it'll be finished in a minute," Solana excused herself.
The two sat in silence on the chair, and the other people at the table began to converse with them.
"Hey there, want a drink?" said person A.
"No," Roswald said flatly.
"Don't be stingy now, why don't we drink?" suggested the three people at the other table.
"No," Rosawld said with a menacing aura, scaring them away.
The atmosphere of the inn becomes gloomy, the innkeeper saw the atmosphere surrounding them, he walks inside and livens things up by making up stories and jokes.
"I'm sorry if they offended you... were you scared, child? They're not bad people. Please forgive them," Solana said as she walk towards them with a tray of food in hand.
"I... I wasn't afraid, Mr. Roswald too is not mad, right?" She said with a charming smile.
"*cough* Un," He nodded.
"I see," Solana said cheerfully, putting the tray down on the table in front of them and leaving.
They eat in silence, their surrounding was peaceful and cheerful, and people were drinking and having a good time.
As soon as they finished their meal, the two of them went upstairs to rest for the night.
Early in the morning at four' o'clock Roswald woke up and readied to head to the village guild to meet with the guild master.
The sun has yet to come up on the market street where bright people already setting up their stores, He walks in the streets quietly and peacefully.
He arrives at the door of the guild, he was about to open the door when someone opens it before him.
"*Gasp* Oh, Sir Roswald, you surprise me... you came quite an early sir... are you here to meet the guild master?" Girl receptionist A said.
"Un," He nodded.
"Oh, I see... he is up in his office... please come in." Girl receptionist A said, moving aside.
He walks in and quickly headed upstairs and knocks on the door the office door.
When no one responds, he helps himself in. He opened the door and he sees Geld buried beneath a stack of papers on the table.
"Oh, you're here," Geld said with a glum expression on his face.
"How's the investigation going?" he inquired as he took a seat on the couch.
"Don't ask me, it's not going well," Geld said and sighs heavily.
"Should I ask someone to assist you?" he said with a stern expression.
"Who would help me" Geld murmured, his vision blurring, he then collapsed on the ground with a snore.
"I'll ask someone to..." he said and stop halfway when he heard a loud crash.
"Guild master what was that loud sound?!" Errand boy A said who came rushing in when he heard a loud noise from the first floor.
Geld was startled by the loud slam of the door that he jump off the floor and stands straight emotionless.
Roswald stays speechless about the situation.
"Guild master, I heard a loud noise from here are you alright?" Errand boy A asked in worry and with caution looking around the room.
"It was nothing you may go," Geld said with a calm face.
"Oh... I see... are you sure your alright..."
"Yes... I am fine, you may go." Geld intercepted the Errand boy A's word, smiling calmly with a bit of hint of anger.
("Don't you dare ask any further... can't this boy understand.")
"Y-yes, I'll excuse myself." Errand boy A bowed his head and quickly walks out of the office.
"Sorry I dozed off a bit there... what was that you were about to say?" Geld said while picking up the scattered paper on the ground.
"I know someone who can help you with the investigation." He said with a calm straight expression shown on his face.
"Someone, you knew? Is there someone like that?" Geld questioned with doubt.
"It's a friend of mine so you don't know who it is." He replied calmly and sternly.
"I see... alright, then I'll take up your offer," Geld said with a shrug.
"Then I'll come back tomorrow..." He said as he stood up from the couch.
"Do whatever you want," Geld said shooing him.
Roswald excuses himself and walks out of the guild's office, down the hall, and picks up a job quest from the bulletin board.
He approaches the reception desk and hands the job quest paper to the receptionist to confirm that he's taken the job.
"Good morning, sir Roswald..." Receptionist B said.
"Could you confirm this?" he asked handing the quest paper.
"Hm? Bergamot? Ah, you will be picking herbs in the forest, I see... please wait for a moment," Receptionist B said and stamps the paper with the guild's stamp mark and handed back the quest paper to him.
"Hn," he nodded and walked out the door.
Derek was out and about in town inside the capital city, when a paper bird suddenly flew right at his face, knocking him flat on the ground.
The kids laughed when they saw him fall. He was embarrassed and ran through the back alley with the paper bird in his hand.
"What the hell is this?" he grumbles, rubbing his nose and checking to see if everything is okay.
Derek examined the paper bird and realized it was a message addressed to him.
He opens the messenger bird without thinking and teleports to the mage tower.
He cheerfully packed his belongings and drove to the village of Danbell.
Roswald was in the forest looking for the bergamot herb mentioned in the job quest he'd undertaken.
Della was at the inn helping out for a little while before the inn's restaurant opens.
She climbed the stairs, sat on a chair, and gaze out the window at the busy street.
The guild was busier than usual because there were a lot of job requests for hunters to take.
Geld's face was haggard, and he had many more wrinkles than usual because he had been awake for three days without rest, gobbling up all of his paperwork and falling asleep on his office table.
Derek used magic to travel quickly to the village and arrived with a bang, alerting soldiers and hunters and disturbing many village people.
Geld was startled by the sudden commotion and became irritated, he stood up and exited the guild.
