I'd like to think that I defused that situation very well.
I hadn't killed Kimura, hadn't let Laura kill her in a rampage of vengeance and still managed to immobilize her. Not exactly a bad result considering the other possibilities. For instance...
"Ow." I said with a frown as an energy blast hit me on the shoulder. It didn't really do much, but still. Though the guy who shot me seemed to be in a worse condition, likely due to seeing his weapon having no effect on me.
"No!" Though apparently he still had fight in him. "Cut off one head! Two more shall rise!" He screamed as he ran towards me, all the while shooting again and again until I slapped him down; leaving him on the ground with some spider cracks around him.
"Whelp, time to go find two more." I said with a shrug as I turned around to see Laura staring at… Kimura's ass.
Understandable. This was a woman that had tormented her, hurt her, for years; she must need a moment to properly realize that she was beaten. Yup, so there was nothing wrong with the way her... hand... was going towards...
"Laura no!" I yelled as I immediately stretched my arm towards the young mutant and puller her towards me before she could pull Kimura's pants off. "You have no idea where that thing has been!" I scolded her, uncaring of the Hydra or Facility agents running towards us.
"Why would you even want to... to... what were you gonna do with her ass anyway?!" I asked, wondering when exactly had the world gone so wrong that I was the one getting someone away from someone else's ass.
"Gonna put a bomb in her ass." Laura said with a deadpan as she pulled out a high tech grenade, where had she even gotten that?!
"No." I said as I took the grenade from her hand, pulled the pin, and threw it at the incoming agents; where it exploded in a green energy that knocked them all to the walls.
A fucking force grenade… I kinda had to wonder what would have happened if I had allowed Laura to put this in Kimura's ass.
"This ends now!" I heard a shout from behind us and saw that Storm was hovering in the air with her eyes crackling with electricity before a huge gust of wind went throughout the hideout and pulled all the goons of the place towards her. Where the lucky ones were all treated via shock therapy while the unlucky ones ended up near the claws of Logan.
It was impressive beyond words. Storm's power over weather meant that she should be weaker in a closed space like where we were but the way she controlled the wind was skillful enough to confuse it for telekinesis. It was almost humbling, the skill of an omega level mutant that was once hailed as a goddess. Probably the strongest mutant in the Xavier's institute other than me, definitely more skilled though.
"I am guessing these are all of them." Logan said as he walked towards us, his eyes lingering on Kimura's rear for a second before turning towards us. "Do I even want to know?"
"Put her on a time out." I said with a shrug, conveniently not mentioning what Laura had wanted to do for both of our sanities.
"What now? I don't really know how to deal with organizations like this beyond punching them." I admitted with little to no hesitation.
"Now I'll get all the data that we can." Logan said with a fanged smile as he pulled some sort of flash drive from his pocket and walked towards the computers. "And then we plan our next move with the new info. Any other questions?"
"Do you always carry a high tech flash drive with you?"
"Never leave the home without one." The Canadian mutant said with a chuckle which was then cut short as the computers suddenly exploded due to a laser blast.
"You'll… never… win!" One of the men that Ororo had thrashed around with her wind wheezed out as he shakily held out the gun he had used to destroy the computers. "We will… never… die!" He gasped out and I started to feel, something. Something unnatural.
"Guys move back." I said as I stretched my arms out and pulled the three mutants towards me as I immediately flew to the farthest part of the hideout.
"Hail… Hydra!" The man screamed out before some sort of blue ufo like device appeared where the Hydra agent had been. And going by the sound, it had squashed the racist little man into a racist little puddle of blood.
"Well, that's new." I said as I let the trio of mutants in my arms go just as a small hole opened up on what I'm considering to be a space ship and my heart stilled as I saw exactly who was standing there.
A man in an purple armor with green clothing. What really made his identity known though was his helmet. A purple helmet with a blue holographic face plate that showed his face. A man that anyone who had picked Marvel comics in their lives would know.
Kang the Conqueror. A man that had almost destroyed the Avengers more than once, if you don't count the timelines where he did destroy them. But even that wasn't what had my absolute attention.
No, what I had my eyes on was the enormous hole where Kang's chest was supposed to be as the time traveling conqueror fell down like a puppet with its strings cut.
"Good riddance." A voice said as two more figures walked out.
One of them was a girl around mine and Laura's age with blonde hair done in a ponytail. She was also wearing a green cloak with its hood down and metal gauntlets.
The other figure was far more… eye catching. Mostly due to her bright red skin and the fact that she stood over two meters, not to mention the fact that she was built like an Amazon.
"Girl, when the hell are we?" The tall red giantess asked the girl beside her but she didn't seem to pay her any mind. Instead she was looking with immense focus towards… me?
"My lord." She whispered out as she walked towards us before kneeling down on one knee. "Your faithful one is before you."
…what?
