"Why, what did he do to you?" I asked getting up. He paused before snuggling into my blanket. "He's not who you'd consider evil at first glance, tall, muscular and handsome but when the curtains come crashing down, you see his true self, the truth of Heracul". I left the room, thinking about what he'd just said. It was true. Most people don't tell others what they really think and instead put on masks with different expressions. I felt sorry for him, he saw the face under the mask but couldn't tell anyone. I went to the living room but realised that everyone had already eaten. I went back and he was gone. I went back to sleep.
The morning came and I had to go to school. I got up and went to school. I came in and sat down under a tree and took out my phone. "Hey kid, you alone?". I looked up and saw a tall blonde guy. "No, not really" I said looking back down at my phone.
"Ah ok, do you play Zas" he said slightly backing away. I looked back up at him. I never thought that someone like him would play Zas. "Yea" I said smiling.
"Wanna play after school!" he said grinning. I nodded. He walked away with his friends as I stared at him in awe. A cool guy like him who also played Zas. I wished to be like him but first I needed a six pack or something. The bell rang and I went to class. I walked happily to whatever class we had but I was too busy thinking of what we'd do in Zas.
After our first two lessons I went to Mazan to tell him the news. "Hey Mazan me and some tall blonde guy are gonna play Zas today after school, so be online by five" I said sitting down under the tree again. "How does he look, I might know him".
"He's muscular and has a pompadour, he also has a bandage on his nose for some reason" I said picturing him. "Oh, you mean him, the king of football, yesterday he scored a hattrick!" he said jumping up with excitement, "You should've told me, of course I'll be online by four even!". I was a bit confused, "yea whatever, I don't play football, but imagine, we're playing with such a cool guy". As we were about to keep on gushing about his feats, the bell rang. I walked to class, it was physical education. Mazan's day couldn't get better. We were doing football and afterschool, we were gonna play with the "king of football" as he called him. We were doing passing practise but the teacher said that we'd be doing matches after. Me, Mazan and some other people formed a team and began to pass around but whoever did a bad pass or couldn't get the ball had to go in the middle. It was calm until I messed up. I had to go in the middle. Mazan passed the ball normally but the guy he'd passed to blasted the ball at my face. I barely dodged the ball and so he had to go to the middle because it was a bad pass. Everyone did well for the rest so we got into matches. The teams were chosen by the teacher so they were disbalanced as I expected. I was on the second best team so I was pretty confident. The games started and we went against the third team. I was placed in midfield together because they didn't know what to do with me since they'd never seen me play. three minutes in some guy called Musta scored a goal. The game kicked off and the other team was on the offense. As they crossed the ball in, I leaped up to block the other guy from doing a header. Instead, he lifted his foot and I was hit in the belly. I gasped for air and rolled around in pain. I heard a whistle meaning it was a foul. The guy received a yellow card but he was smiling.
The match ended and we won two to non. Our team stayed on and we were going against the best team now. The match started and now I was defensive midfield. We were on the offense when I was passed the ball. I dragged the ball forward and passed to the side. Someone caught it and kept running. He shot the ball but the goalkeeper defended it. He kicked the ball towards me. It hit me straight in the face and blood splattered across the grass. I fell and held onto my nose. It was numb and tears were flowing down my eyes. I clung onto my consciousness and they dragged me out and brought me into the medical room. They gave me ice and cleaned my nose. "You'll have to stay here until the end of the school day" said the nurse. I fell asleep and was woken up again. I had a band aid on my nose from where the ball hit me which still hurt when I touched it. I got up and left to go to meet the king of football. Outside Mazan waited for me. "You okay?" he asked putting my arm over his shoulder. "Yea, also I can walk" I said pulling my hand back. "Anyways let's meet up with the king now" I said walking down the hallway. Outside he was there waiting for us alone. "Why'd you take so long" he asked smiling, "Oh never mind, is your nose okay?" he asked stepping closer. "Yea, I just got hit by a football, I'm fine now apart from that".
"Oh ok, let's go to my house now, Mazan, we'll meet at the eclipse point" he said waving his hands. We walked away to the king's house. We passed many alleyways until we reached a gate. beyond that was a big field and behind that was a mansion.
