Sonia had realized something was not right with her car a little too late. Even engulfed in flames, Sonia refused to die, and perhaps it was her determination, or maybe it was her fate when Sonia opened her eyes; she was no longer in flames; she was no longer Sonia Song.
Multiple eyes looked down at the curled-up figure that had fallen from the sky like a blazing star. The figure's glow receded the heat surrounding Chu Hua, cooling, had the heavens sent an immortal down to help them win this war, many of the soldiers whispered. The whispers reached the Dark General what nonce where his men spewing.
The Dark General stormed out of his tent and headed towards the center of commotion; the newly reborn Sonia opened her eyes as he approached. Lady Chu Hua saw no other than the Dark General, the Prince of Death, son of the Dragon.
The Prince looked over the figure, hair so dark it matched the night, eyes so bright they put the stars to shame, lips so plump he was actually tempted to claim her. As the Prince continued to look over Chu Hua, he realized this crazy woman was naked. Returning to his senses, the Prince took off his cloak and wrapped Chu Hua in it as he scooped her into his arms.
What madness is this? Sonia thought to herself, how can I be here and in the past non-less. If the gods were going to save me, why couldn't they do it in my own period? Who would ever want to live in the past? Not only that, but she had been reborn as the daughter of the House of Feng, a family consisting of ministers and merchants. Now the line of works wasn't the problem; no, the problem was even though Chu Hua was the lineal daughter, she was mistreated by her father's mistress and step-siblings. The entire Feng manor looked down on Lady Chu Hua for her lack of cultivation.
How useless these people they would murder their own relative, but didn't the same thing happen to her. Sonia had promised the previous owner of this body she would avenge her and that she would. After all, Sonia always kept her promises; it's just why had she been reborn as a seventeen-year-old, her exquisite figure was gone; she would have to pray her chest wouldn't be this small for the rest of her life and her curves oh her curves. She had mesmerized many with her looks, making it easier to kill them right where they stood.
Luckily, she had retained her memories even if she could not be the superb being off before she would train this new body to survive. As she nodded, Chu Hua hit her head against the Prince's shoulder armor, bringing her back to reality.
In her best authoritative voice, Chu Hua tried to say, "put me down, you rogue, how dare you touch me? Do you have a death wish," but the being that held her was not faced. Since birth, the Prince had been on the battlefield. His men even believed him to be blessed by the Underworld itself. After all, the son of the Dragon had not once been defeated in battle.
The Great Dragon was what they'd called his mother when she was still alive; many believed she had died so an even greater dragon could be born.
