Chapter 10 - Chapter 10

When I woke up, there was sun shining into the tent. I covered my head because I had a migraine. I walked to the entrance holding my head, I looked and saw Diana walking. I hopped out. When I was out of the tent I saw Diana walking. "We should get like a giant turtle mount thing" I didn't really feel like practising after that terrible headache. I saw the markings on my skin were faded.

The icy tingling feeling was still there. "Wait a minute" "Is that?" I looked closer and saw that it wasn't the ice markings, it was my mana flowing. I wasn't even thinking about this. I looked at it closer and saw it circulate to my finger tips before going back up my arm and to my chest. I looked at it closer and noticed it only went to where I placed the marking's before.

I tried having it stop flowing. Everything stopped in place before rushing back to my chest and sitting there in a pool. I looked at my chest and saw right next to my heart there was a small blue leaf. I stopped thinking about it and thought of what to make next. "Honestly Diana probably gets tired from constantly carrying the tent on her back. Maybe I could try and make a wagon.

Just then my stomach started growling. I hadn't eaten meat in a long time so I felt like hunting for something. I looked towards Diana who had the same idea. I grabbed my bone club and waved it around. Trying to get used to the weight. I swung it and noticed it was really top heavy. It felt really weird whenever I tried to swing it.

"Most of the things I have seen had pretty tough skin so s[ears aren't an option" Actually. Those alligator teeth were pretty strong. But I couldn't fight close quarters considering I only have rib armour. "If only there was more gator skin," oh wait. I looked at the tent and noticed all the scales and bumps were still there.

I used the tooth and popped all the scales off and picked them up. I put them in the tent before going inside. I used some palm leaves and twine to make a leaf helmet. Now with a sort of mould I placed the scales on it. Using the blue paste to glue it together. I kept going until it was completely covered. Next I completely covered it in the paste. I waited for it to dry, which wasn't long, and picked it up.

I put on the helmet. It felt cold but it would protect me. "If only i had more scorch pears" that way i could have had heating. I used a lot of scales for my helmet. So there wasn't a lot left. "Now i feel dumb" ive been here for close to a week, and i haven't made basic tools yet. I went outside of the tent and saw Diana resting on top of a hill. I looked around and saw it was a nice place. There was a river nearby that led to a huge lake.

I saw in the distance a cliff with a waterfall. "Yup that's the place '' It looked to be at least a month away by foot. But at least we have a goal. I grabbed a rock and sharpened it with a tooth. I then grabbed a large fallen branch and carved a whole in it. I grabbed the stone and put it inside of it. I tied it with twine to make sure it was secure. I lifted it up and swung it a few times. I made it like half the size of a grown man. "The trees are pretty bg so this should be good."

I went to a tree and swung. It left a small dent in it. "Man this is tiring." I swung it a few more times before Diana came over. She grabbed the axe from me. She lifted it up and swung, chopping the tree nearly in half. I was confused when I saw her smiling. "Ok you want it you can have it"

She swung it again making the tree fall. She was about to go to another tree. "Diana wait" she looked towards me confused. "You also have to cut off all the branches" She looked at me like i just told her victoria's secret. She Then went to the tree and chopped down the branches. After 30 or 35 swings all the branches were gone in a pile next to us. She looked at me again asking what to do next, at least it looked like it.

I walked up to her and said. "All the little bumps and the bark on the tree needs to come off." She seemed to understand and she went to the tree. She used the axe and grinded the bark and such off. After a while it was completely done. She looked at me wondering what to do next. "Ok, now we need to cut it into small pieces." I grabbed the axe and swung it down on the tree. Only for it to hardly leave a dent.

I took out my tooth, turned the knife and cut a piece off. I went and made several cuts evenly spaced apart. I turned towards diana. "Cut all the pieces where the marks are. After that, then cut the pieces down the middle." She nodded and got to work. While doing that I grabbed the branches. They were bendable so I made a circle out of them. I tied them together with twine and used some sticks for support. I did this 4 times. Making 4 wheels

I used my bone knife and cut the branches to where the sides of it were flat. I cut a hole in the middle. I grabbed the bigger branches and smoothed them out. I put them all together connecting them. Now I have a simple frame for a cart. It was midday by now and I was getting hungry. I grabbed a stick and attached my knife to it, making a spear.
