the sound rang again through the first and this time it was more louder and clearer than before and without stopping it continued getting louder and louder as it came close to them
"what the hell is going on? what is that sound coming from and don't you think it is coming toward us"
"I also have no idea what is going on.."
while other soldiers were confused and somewhat frightened of approaching danger their leader stepped out
"everyone calm down. I think we are going to have a tough battle, those who can not fight get back from here and other prepare yourself for the battle get to work fast"
"YES SIR!!"
recieving the orders everyone got into acting without wasting a single serving and soon they were ready with their weapons too fight whatever danger was approaching them
on the other side Rahen was doing well evading the attack and leading it towards the army camp, even though he felt sorry he could not see any other way of killing the best before it's evolution
"thank for your help everyone and I am sorry for dragging you into my fight!"
he successfully led it to the army and immediately got out of the way not wanting to be caught in the battle and die to the bullet of the army
soon as army saw the giant beast they started firing at it even though lighter weapons were not able to do anything to it's defence and only have machinery were of some use they did manage to turn it's attention from Rahen to them
the army and the elephant beast got into a fierce. with unable to intervene in the ongoing battle rahen deemed it more useful to try practice 3rd phase of Qi. he wanted to get rid of the way with which the mutation energy entered Earth because if he could not do that, more best like that elephant will start to rise.
the battle continued while Rahen also entered the meditation mode and practiced as hard as he could.
while he was practicing the military reinforcement also arrived after around 20 mounted which made the job of military much easier with the help of air support that arrived in the form of helicopter.
before the reinforcements arrived the military was on the defensive size of the battle but the tables soon turned with arrival of the reinforcement.
Rahen also felt much more relieved as now there would be much less casualties and the best would be taken care of without much difficulties with continuous attacking from air
an hour passed and even though the military was constantly attacking it, with it's high defense the beast was definitely not going to going to be defeated that easily. one thing that was proceeding better than expected was Rahen's practice as he was making significant progress in learning the 3rd phase of Qi due to meditation mode

Rahen was a little far from the scene of battle because he did not want to be disturbed while practicing, now achieving 1st stage of QI practice he was ready to finally go and have a look at the battle.
he wanted to check out how the military was doing against that beast and he also thought that he should start searching for the mutation energy source by following the trail from that mutated elephant
reaching the scene he was a little surprised and also happy to see that military was faring much better than Rahen though they would be. they were exploiting the fact that only the trunk of elephant was moving fast while his remaining body movement was very slow
maintaining a constant distance from it and continuously shooting it they were managing the battle with the least casualties, the effects were visible on the hard skin of the beast as now it has many bullet wounds on it and was also bleeding from many places on its body
"since they are doing so good i should also get to my work and look for the way to make this the last beast they have to battle"
seeing them in good condition Rahen now started his search without much worries for the soldiers
