with just learning the 1st stage of Qi it was difficult for Rahen track down the mutated energy, few time he ended up going to dead mutated beasts following the leakage of the energy from their body
few times he even encountered low level mutated beasts feeding on those corpses, but using his skill he easily got rid of them
but with the increasing amount of mutation energy he now knew he was on right path and continued to follow it
since he knew that now he started flying faster and did not take him much time to reach the destination
in the middle of the forest he saw a place where no living being was present, there were only dead bodies of animals there and the trees present in that area had already withered too
and in the middle of that he saw a crack in the air. It was around 2 mere in height but only few inches wide, inside the crack one could only dark black color and nothing else
with the naked eyes that was all which was visible but when using Qi search skill Rahen could clearly see purple and black coloured mist flowing out of that crack, it was mutated energy.
"system what should I do now?"

following the system krom approached closed to the crack until he recieved the message from system

Rahen sat there and started to wait for system to complete the analysis. 5 minutes passed by very soon and sistem rang with a notification once again

"no, I heard you clearly but it was just difficult for me to believe that a battle between two persons was the reason behind all of this. even though I do not know much but I think that must really be strong if their battle can open a spatial crack"

"ok so how much QI do you need to repair this crack?"

"what! that literally three times of what I have right now and it took me 2 months to get this much Qi accumulated. how am i supposed to get that much Qi?"
[ IN THOSE 2 MONTHS A LARGE AMOUNT OF QI WAS USED TO REPLACE THE LIFE FORCE THAT HOSTS LOST ]
[ SO SYSTEM SUGGESTS HOST TO EAT AND PREVENT THE LOSS OF THAT QI AND ALONG WITH THE BOOSTED EFFICIENCY IN QI IT SHOULD NOT TAKE THAT MUCH TIME TO GATHER ENOUGH QI TO REPAIR THE SPATIAL CRACK ]
"I was also looking for something that I could eat, even thought about going to military camp for that purpose but with the tension between them and other animals I did not want to get shot "
"I guess i will have to eat the raw meat now. whatever it is still better than what was available at the nest"
Rahen decided to eat the raw meat so that he could collect the required QI fast and repair the spatial crack as soon as possible, but all the meat he could see was the corpses is dead mutated beasts
"system, what will happen if I eat the mutated beasts?"

rahen asked in hope if there was a way. he knew that all the meat he could hung right now was from the mutated ones and it would take long time if he goes to search for something else and who knows what might happen during that time

"i guess that the only way remaining is to go back to the army camp and see if i find something there " deciding that it was only way Rahen started flying at his highest speed toward the location of army camp
since the system had the function to mark places it was much faster for Rahen to reach there without having much problem, on his way back he also had a look at the ongoing battle.
the battle was reaching it's final stage and the elephant was about to die in some time, seeing this Rahen was glad and felt relieved that did not cause those soldiers to lose their lives due to his decision
reaching the tent he quickly flew to one of the tent the he thought the food was stored in, when he was here earlier he had seen the food the Soldier being brought from this tent
seeing the food packets there he knew that he was right. he grabbed one of the food packets, he used his talons to tore through the packets causing the inside materials to spill around
the dried food that was inside the packet was lying on the floor, seeing it Rahen flew down and ate his first meal in months. even though it did not tasted too good it was much better for a person who has been hungry for so long.
[ THE USE OF LIFE FORCE HAVE BEEN STOPPED ]
he has a sigh of relief after the notification. eating some more Rahen got out of the tent and sat in a quiet place some distance away from the camp site and started practicing Qi.
