Yue Yue grabbed Xiao Xia's wrist as she was tempted to break her hand. Xiao Xia struggled to remove her hand from Yue Yue's grasp.
"Who are you? Let me go!" Xiao Xia yelled, "Can't you hear me?! Let me go!"
Yue Yue looked disappointed and said, "Can't you tell by my uniform? I thought all SWAT personnel are intelligent. Looks like you got an IQ of a goldfish." Xiao Xia was raging as her face turned red. Yue Yue released her hand and told her, "My name is Zhang Yue Yue, I just got hired as your doctor. Hope to work well with you. But I do need to remind you, treat others the way you want to be treated. Your way of treating a higher up is even lower than an amateur."
Few others looked at them and giggled, "This doctor is so cool! I love her already. Is she really Commander Li's girlfriend?"
One girl said, "Looks like it, Commander Li haven't denied it yet."
Xiao Xia and Yuqi went away angrily as Yue Yue got down in front of Zhi An. She looked at his cuts and scars, his hands were full bruises. She used her uniform sleeve to wipe away his cold sweat.
"Did they do this to you? I told you to take care of yourself. Why didn't you listen to me?" She had a bit of sniffles and tears came down as well.
Zhi An was relieved to see Yue Yue again, he smiled weakly then winced in pain.
"Let's go and get you treated. Can you stand up?" She carefully supported Zhi An as they went back to the medical office.
When they were in the medical office, Zhi An sat on one of the treatment beds. Yue Yue grabbed the first aid kit and the medical trolley. She carefully unbuttoned his uniform and saw blood stains on his white T-shirt. Carefully, she rolled up his sleeves and saw an open wound. Her heart sank.
"It might hurt a bit." She carefully treated it with iodine with a cotton ball. Yue Yue gently blew as she puts the iodine on the wound. She wrapped the wound with a clean gauze and taped it. She used medicinal cream for bruises on his hands and some of it on both of his arms.
Secondly, she used some iodine for the cut on his face then used a small clean gauze and tape to cover it. After finishing, she cleaned up the area and placed everything back in order. She sat beside him and gave him some water to drink.
"Are you feeling better?" She looked at him with a concerned expression. He was very quiet and his face was quite pale from blood loss. She closed the treatment bed curtain for more privacy.
"You're safe in here. Nothing will happen." She reassured him.
When she see him now, he is like a glass vase. Fragile and easy to break. He was mentally and physically exhausted. It breaks her to see him in such a weakened state. She embraced him without saying anything, her presence was he needed. He broke down while she hugged him. He was strong for way too long.
They stayed in the medical office for more than half an hour until lunch time. Yue Yue stayed with him until he was well enough.
"Are you hungry?" She asked, "I can bring your lunch to your room. Will that be okay?"
Zhi An finally spoke, "Let's go together." He stood up, wore his uniform and went down to the cafeteria with Yue Yue.

Yue Yue made a mental note for Xiao Xia and Yu Haobing so if they ever hurt the man she loves, she will hurt them ten times with broken bones. She doesn't even care about her identity anymore. The fact they damaged him to this point made her blood boil. She will do anything to protect her loved ones even if they are not official yet.
At the cafeteria, each of them carried a tray then lined up for food. Today, they are serving rice, spicy tofu, mixed veggies, fried salmon and meat/vegetable buns. For soup, it's hot/sour soup and corn/egg soup or wonton/dumpling soup. Yue Yue's stomach started to grumble, she wanted to eat all of the food.
"Do you eat this everyday?" She asked Zhi An and he nodded, "Yup, and I'm getting a bit tired of them but good thing is...they switch every other day."
Yue Yue thanked the cook as they served the food to her. After getting their eating utensils, Yue Yue found a seat beside the beautiful fountain in the middle of the cafeteria.
"These taste so good!" Yue Yue started digging in while Zhi An smiled at her. He barely smiles to other people.
"Be careful, don't choke." Zhi An gave her another piece of salmon from his tray and a bun. Yue Yue looked at him surprised, "You don't like them?" Zhi An shook his head, "I'm just tired of eating salmon and bun. Seems that you like it a lot. Have more." Yue Yue smiled and thanked him.
"I'm just curious. Your arm wound doesn't seem to be recent, seemed like you had it for a while now. Can you tell me what happened? I won't tell anyone." Yue Yue wanted to know exactly what happened so she can plan her revenge.
Zhi An replied, "I was locked up in a dark room for a whole day. Yu Haobing and other two guys came in. He wanted revenge on his friends and he still blamed me for their death. So, he grazed my arm with his handgun." Yue Yue stopped eating, she was speechless.
"That A-hole." She thought to herself, "I should've kicked him in the nuts when I was on the elevator this morning."
Zhi An looked at Yue Yue, "Are you feeling alright?" Yue Yue looked at him and nodded, "I was just thinking about something. Don't worry. Is your arm feeling better?"
"Still a bit when I try to move but it's way better than this morning. Thank you." He was very thankful that she came back and see him. Not to mention, being a doctor at his workplace.
"It's my job. If you're hurt, it hurts me, too." She replied.
After she finished her lunch, Zhi An instinctively picked a piece of rice on the side of her mouth. Yue Yue looked at him without saying anything. Both of them stared at each other and she could feel her face is burning up.
