It was a beautiful morning. The sun radiated its light onto Třekov showering darkness away. The rising sun having now showered its radiant set itself up the sky. The whispering winds blew by on the grass and cornfields. The people of Třekov opened their doors and windows then set foot outside. The knights guarded patrol around the town. The blacksmiths whacked time and time again trying to create a work of art. The gardeners toiled and toiled in the hot sun whilst beads of heavy sweat ran down their faces. The business then opened in Třekov. While this was happening Xavier was still lying on his soft, comfy, and old bed looking up to the ceiling and Vivian watered her plants. And Feran had the day off from work.
Xavier got up from his bed and went out of his bedroom.
" Morning, Xavier!" Vivian said as she smiled warmly while rubbing her tummy which looked swollen.
He smiled back," Morning."
" Breakfast is ready, want some?" She asked as she titled her head awaiting his response.
" Sure, what is it this time?" Xavier looked at her asking.
Vivian then said," Obviously, your favorite. Boar meat with eggs, salad and there's also steak."
" Chicken Cobb Salad?" While looking at her awaiting her response he began to drool. Having that Xavier rushed to the long dinner table, which held candles, with a gold glass chandelier above and eight chairs closed to another. The table was extremely long, it would make someone laugh after hearing that people were living in one house while the dining could hold eight people. Xavier looked at the dinner," You weren't lying!"
Vivian strikes at Xavier," Why would lie at my son!" She pouted.
Xavier laughed,' You lie all the time, mom.'
Xavier then looked around," Didn't dad have a day off from work?"
Vivian placed her fingers by the chin and tilted her head trying to remember where Feran was," Ah, he's downtown."
" Feran's always busy, isn't he?" Xavier sighed.
" Aren't still trying to master Ice? He's been teaching you for a month now."
" I get that." Xavier looked through the window as he didn't dig in his meal. ' Food always tastes better with the whole family. Normally, when Vivian cooked this the whole family would be here.'
And at that same moment," Vivian, I'm back."
Xavier smiled," How fortunate."
Feran walked through the door and placed his elbow by the wall as he perspired. He panted. " They didn't say, blacksmithing would take all that muscle!" Feran argued.
Vivian laughed loudly at him," While you have muscle, you are still weak Feran. Lemme guess, Mr. Smith? It's in his name Feran of course he would be a genius at it. Don't underestimate Mr. Smith, he looks short and the clothes he wears make him look even smaller but that guy has talent while blacksmithing."
" I'd prefer my wife talking about me and not an old man." Feran scowled. Feran then walked off," You guys should get changed." Feran said as he walked off to the bathroom.
***
Feran then returned later only to see them changed already," So fast?"
Xavier then asked," So, where are we going?"
" Outside of Třekov."
Xavier then looked at him," There are monsters there."
" No, I'm talking about a whole other place Xavier. I'll take you both there to meet someone," Feran replied.
" To Aynor?" Vivian interrupted their conversation.
" Yes, to Aynor," Feran replied.
Unlike Třekov, Aynor was a city and not a town. Which meant that there would be a whole lot of security, nobles, and guards active everywhere. It would be the first time Xavier ever leaves the area of Třekov.
' A city, huh? I wonder what kinds of things lay there.' Xavier looked through the window once again trying to imagine a city but he could only think of the modern cities in his old world and a bigger Třekov in this world. He tried hard but couldn't imagine it.
' I guess I'll know when we get there.'
" Our carriage is downtown. Let go, shall we?" Feran said as he opened the door.
As they walked down the hill, gusts of winds blew their hairs. Vivian walked down the hill taking in the air." It's been a while since I went outside the house." She said while smiling as the wind blew her golden hair and long full white skirt.
" Same can't be said for me. I practically work every day, I only got a break off since Loy died." Feran said while frowning.
" It's upsetting how a man like that died so easily," Vivian said.
' Seriously, I hate that guy's name!'
" We're here," Feran said.
" Pebso and Therla!" Vivian ran by the two horses. She smiled as she touched them," It's been too long."
" Well then let's get going shouldn't we?"
Both Xavier and Vivian climbed up in the carriage. Then the horses started moving. As they moved, people waved both Feran and Vivian a safe trip. It felt reassuring knowing that almost everyone cared for the two. It was now sunset. Xavier, Vivian, and Feran looked up at the sky. The sky was red as the clouds covered the sky reflecting an orange color onto the surface. It was a glorious, beautiful sunset and the whole family and the town got to see it. As Xavier slowly left Třekov, it felt like he was leaving home for a while.
One day he would have to leave until then he promised to look after Vivian. As Xavier stared outside the window of the Carriage a few monsters attacked. " Continue going, Pebso and Therla I'll be there in a few seconds." Feran then jumped off the carriage and wield his sword. " A group of Aurapaws, huh?"
An Aurapaw was similar to a blood wolf but it had the ability to absorb and release mana attacks. They were bigger, stronger, and smarter than a bloodwolf. They were white, their paws were so huge it looked swollen, their fangs were also that of a Hippopotamuses, a creature in Xavier's world. Xavier watched as the group of Aurapaws attacked Feran. They jumped in the air and slashed at him. From where Xavier was looking from, Feran got sliced in half.
But was that the case. Three slashes passed by and Feran appeared back. The bodies of the Aurapaws were sliced in half with only three slashes. It was almost like Feran disappeared and appeared again. Once again, they didn't call him a holy knight for nothing. He then rushed back to the carriage.
" Oh, We're already here." He then pointed.
