SERA'S POV
I ran back home and pretended not to know what happened. I got rid of the blood stain on my hand, stayed home till I fell asleep. I was later woken up by my friends. They were knocking on my door. I went over to open the door for them. They came to check up on me.
"Girl what happened? We didn't see you at the party. We were scared," Nancy had complained worriedly.
"Jeff told us he saw you leaving the party while he was arriving. Any problem?" Ashley asked.
Jeff is Ashley's boyfriend. I didn't think that someone I knew might see me leaving the party. From what Ashley said, it was clear that he didn't see the blood stain on my hand. Couldn't wash it back there because of how scared I was.
I sighed and lied to my friends that I got an urgent call from Scarlet. "I thought she came over, so I ran back here to see her. But I met no one. She later called to explain something to me. You know...sister things," I said.
