Alexander turned his attention on me, and I could tell he was lost. Of course he would be. I was standing there half naked. Alex rose from the bed and walked up to me. I felt my heart beating suddenly. Maybe it's because I knew what was about to happen, and I just couldn't wait for it to happen. I heard him call my name softly and responded back with a Yes. Just like that, his lips came crashing on mine. We kissed passionately like our lives depended on it.
I had the urge to wrap my arms around him and kiss him hard. But my mind went to the meeting Alex had with Maximo, Baxter, Dad and the others. I found myself drifting away. Vince's image came to my mind and I felt scared. I immediately broke the kiss and embraced Alex tightly.
"Dove?" he called.
"I'm worried about Alex. What...what if Vince comes back again to kidnap me and...and he hurts you? What..." I panicked within.
