Scarlet's POV
"Are we there yet?" I asked curiously.
"Not yet Dove,"Alex answered.
"Are we there yet?" I repeated.
"No we're not Dove. We'll be there soon," Alex answered again.
I could hear him laughing beside me. I was blindfolded, so I couldn't see anything. I was desperate and curious to know where we were going. Being blindfolded was becoming a pain in the eyes and also a beauty to the eyes. I held Alex by the arm. I rubbed them to make sure it was his arm and not something else. I heard Alex chuckling at me.
"Are we there yet?" I asked.
"Almost," he responded.
"Waw! That's progress. The answer I've been getting lately is No," I said.
Alex laughed at me. His laughter made me smile. Now I couldn't wait to see this surprise my Alex has in store for me. Although he always does it, I never get old.
"We're here," Alex's voice came in.
