A mocking smile appeared on Shannon's lips at the thought of this. A woman whose life revolved around a man probably deserved to be abandoned.
"Hi, may I know how to address you?" A man's voice suddenly sounded beside Shannon.
She turned her unfocused gaze to look at the stranger beside her. He was quite pleasing to the eye, but she was really sick of such methods of striking up a conversation.
"I'm a lawyer, so you can look for me if you need help with lawsuits in the future. Aside from this, I don't really want to talk to you." Shannon opened her bag and handed him her business card.
The man looked at her with admiration. Such a woman was really too attractive.
"This explains the extraordinary aura you exude. Let me introduce myself. I'm Jonah Stevens, the CEO of Stevens Corporation." Jonah raised his glass and approached Shannon.
