Yolk immersed himself in the battle on the mountain of blood. However, it ended the moment one giant tossed the stone on the air.
And as the giant did so, the visual returned immediately. When he regained his sense back, He saw Lena's shield that had many cracks. It was too late to save her.
Crunch!
A sound of glass breaking resounded, followed by a loud grunt sounded as Lena got hit by the vicious energy. Her body flung, powerfully hit the invisible dome.
After losing one power supply, the sphere trembled violently. Bulging, it started to show sign as if it was about to explode.
Yolk poured more energy to stabilize the sphere; he could withstand the vicious energy, thus he did not fly and was hit by it.
However, he realized his power storage was lacking. No matter how long he poured it, the sphere would eventually explode because insufficient with the present energy input.
Grunting, Lena was lying down. On the corner of her eyes, she noticed major changes that happened to the sphere.
Exerting her muscles, she grabbed the wooden tube and threw it firmly with all her might towards Yolk. As it flew, the wooden tube flickered, followed by some strange patterns that resurface like vines on it.
She watched the tube safely land, and she collapsed right after that.
Yolk couldn't move his hand even an inch to catch the tube. Nonetheless, the tube floated around him as it slowly approached the silver pentagon on his chest.
It gave an ethereal feeling, like watching a sunrise in fresh new dawn, pumping him to do the best for the day.
"Stabilize!"
He let a stern shout out as he tightened his hand, trying to condense the sphere.
The vicious energy still lingered, but it didn't as fierce as before. It disturbed some of his energy flow, thus some of the energy was wasted. Thus, the wasted energy whipped around the area haphazardly.
Thankfully, the sphere could be stabilized in under five seconds. However, it would not be sufficient for the blood.
Therefore, Yolk spared a few more seconds to condense it, making it small as an apple but solid as a rock.
After condensing the sphere, he immediately pushed it down onto the cracked bowl. The closer the sphere, the fiercer aura came out from the blood.
He slightly saw some scenes on the mountain of blood over time, causing him to lose a grip of himself. Feeling annoyed, he gritted his teeth while pouring all-out energy.
Plop!
As the sphere touch the blood, another incoming aura rose. It ravaged violently, leaving some rough cut on his body. However, the sphere crudely marched towards the blood and sealed it completely.
Not long after, it gradually merged with the blood.
Seeing this, Yolk immediately took a steel case with complicated patterns engraved. He put the bowl inside and tapped each corner after he closed it.
The steel case flickered lightly; nothing happened afterward.
"It's over." Yolk gently sighed.
He limped heavily as he moved to a particular direction where his wife lay down. A heartbreaking ached surged.
'Even at this stage, we are still vulnerable. I am still weak...' He secretly sighed with complicated feelings.
The field turned into a mess as if some experts had fought.
He recalled the scenes of giants and myriad unknown creatures, even a massive dragon fought bitterly at the battle. A mere field in front of him was nothing compared to that battle.
This thought knocked his conscious. He knew there were numerous experts in town above his level, but doubt struck, remind him that no expert even those in big sects could compare the battle in mountain blood.
The thought of that sight still made chills run up and down his spine.
Yolk shook his head; he had no time to think about that. Now, he should heal Lena and Ziya as fast as possible.
He opened Lena's palm and placed the cracked wooden tube.
With that, he clenched his fists. The silver armor gradually shrunk, converged at the silver pentagon on the gloves.
After it fully converged, he took two pills inside the basin where the turtle shell was stationed. This pill was the last choice they would take to suppress the blood.
However, they did not consume it because the one who would have been given the pill was severely injured. Their little guardian was injured.
'This matter is something beyond my capability. Hopefully, this is a blessing in disguise.' He thoughtfully considered the plan they had to take for the next treatment.
This blood was merely from one patient, from Eldu. There were three patients left.
After he let Lena consume one pill, he quickly searched Ziya outside of the dome. He noticed there was a trace of blood and followed it carefully.
Moments later, he saw a little girl under a palm tree. Her eyelid closed, and blood was all over her body. From face area to limbs, it bled terribly.
However, what made Yolk's heartache was the smile on her face.
"Father? Mother?" Ziya asked with her eyes closed. "I am scared, hehe. I shouldn't be scared because I will be a great doctor, like mother."
A tear formed in the corner of Yolk's eyes. "My daughter…"
Ziya wanted to sob, but her eyes were bleeding, and this indescribable pain was too much for her. So, her smile was a sense of enduring the pain...
"I shouldn't be, sob, I won't be sca—" Before she finished her words, a rough palm rubbed her cheek, wiping blood gently.
Without sparing any further breath, Yolk took the same pill Lena consumed. He split it in half, and there was visible energy that evaporated from the split side.
"Consume it quickly. I'll help to digest it."
Ziya put a half pill inside her mouth. Soon, she felt abundant energy surged up, revitalizing her stamina.
Yolk raised his right hand, and a silver pentagon was placed in front of Ziya.
'What have I done...' Yolk watched her pitiful daughter, the cheerful and loveable little girl now turned into this state.
Heartbreaking. Yolk felt he was a cruel father ever, more trash than a villain.

A man held his scabbard, palpitated with shock and nervousness. Beads of cold sweat formed on his forehead. "It's worse than I thought! I should make a report immediately."
He jumped, dashed, and ran as fast as he could. His move gradually became a trail of light.
Inside Mora's house.
The man arrived with a rough breath. Mora frowned. "What's the matter?"
"The rumor is true. That's not the point. Well, it is." The man was hesitant.
Mora adjusted his sitting position. "Wang, tell me."
"First, I found a superb scale that can withstand my all-out attack. Sec—"
Mora interrupted. "Show it."
Catching his breath, Wang paused for a moment then took out the black scale and gave it to Mora.
As a merchant, Mora knew many types of materials such as herbs, minerals, and beasts. He confidently evaluated the scale.
"Hmm, not bad. However, it's not in superb level." Mora expressed his disappointment.
"Please use your totem." Wang plead.
Hearing this, Mora furrowed his brows in confusion. Wang, his guard, usually acted without asking too much. Moreover, Wang knew how adept he was in evaluating something.
Ever since Wang worked for him, he never demanded something with an empty mind. Thus, he trusted Wang wholeheartedly, then he took his Totem out.
