....Chapter begins....
The sun rolled down, and I was still at the window just mindlessly watching the trees and sky,The dream of yesterday still fresh in mind.
Why would I see the leader of that HHZ agency in my dreams?
"The Union of the hybrid Blood...huh what a poetic name." I said to myself frowning a bit.
No one of my team has showed up yet at the tree house, and I was getting bored, super bored.
I feel like An NPC.
"A zombie apocalypse and I can't find something to do...ugh I want some action!" I complained to the air.
then I saw it, "huh?!" I saw something in trees, rustling far.
I could see something move from the window since the tree house is quite high, it does work as a watch Tower.
Grabbing the binoculars I started watching the forest before me very closely, and then i saw a tree falling down in the middle of the woods, followed by another and another.
Whatever it was, it was something big and was knocking the trees like dominos, it was getting closer too.
"oh what the hell is that?!" I thought to myself as I suddenly heard a loud inhumane growl.
with my Kombat knife in hand I quickly jumped out of the window and on to the ground outside, it was a long jump, a jump that would Normally break legs or even kill, but I landed in one piece.
"Now that's something I'd enjoy." I said dashing forward to the source of destruction.
as I ran to the middle of the forest I saw some people already escaping horrified, judging from their gear and tools they were carrying with them as the escaped, they were trying to cut some wood.
then I spotted Ivan as well with them, and ivan noticed me and ran my way screaming "What the hell are you doing here kid?! get lost before you get killed!"
"What the hell is chasing you guys?!" I asked him.
" a zombie Boss appeared out of nowhere when we were getting some wood supply...I don't know how it got this strong and big.
this area doesn't usually get this type of monsters... but it's a huge threat! I'm going to warn people in nearby towns, and get Mickey and the others to help." Ivan replied.
I tapped him on his shoulder " you do that old, me I'm gonna hold whatever this Zombie boss is until you guys make it." I said confidently.
Wow I'm not sure where I'm getting this confidence.
"hold what?! you're going to be somebody dinner child.
just because you're a freak doesn't mean you're invincible!" Ivan screamed back at me.
The freak talk again.
Leaving him behind, standing there, I ignored his insults and continued dashing forward to find the zombie Boss, I was feeling the rush of adrenaline grow as I ran faster than I ever did in my dreams.
And when I made it, it was a sight to run from.
reaching to where the destruction was coming from, I found myself standing few feet away from a mutated fleshy creature.
a zombie Boss, sure as hell ugly, the Zombie boss was heavy weight looking, and about 20 feet high ( that's like 6.096 in meters)
The Zombie had three heads with all head having their mouth agape, I could see more sets of teeth than a normal human beings should have, sharp and twisted.
I noticed something strange too, The heads were all pointing at different directions, west, east, north.
it seemed like this zombie was capable of seeing me from all corners, thanks to the three heads.
I'm cornered from three directions, three?
Also it got three arms on each side, six in total, it looked like three zombies morphed into one, similar to those mythology creatures like Geryon.
How the hell do I Know what geyron is?
However, The monster had only two legs carrying The whole body.
The monster was now staring at me with a twisted expression, and making noises I don't wish upon my dearest enemy to hear.
" I would also run from a face like that too dude?! only your mom would think you're good looking." I said joking, it started screeching even more annoyingly than before.
knowing that I'm at a certain level of disadvantage, since I'm under-armed and have no memory of how to battle such a thing, and my opponent is larger than myself.
I decided to rely on my instincts and logic instead.
I remembered Sultana's warning when she said it's the knowledge I don't possess, that's gonna get me killed.
Wise Master Sultana.
"let's hope I really don't get myself, six feet under." I said prepping mentally for a fight, There was fear inside of me, I can't deny it but there was also a good deal of excitement.
I knew I did this before, I just have to try and remember how.
Considering my current position, it'll be best if I don't engaged in a head to head fight with this thing.
I can't run away like the others since I was the one who decided to be here, although getting away from a violent situation before it erupts, should be considered a victory.
Technically speaking, I brought this on myself.
Especially now, This Zombie was looking at me like I'm medium rare steak.
I knew this fight is unavoidable, and I honestly rather prefer to stand my ground at this point.
Taking a deeper breath, I knew I had to relax, I can't freak out because this could be a life and death situation "you can do it (Y/N)" I said hyping myself up.
"Hey there! three Face! what pet name do you prefer?" I said mocking the infected creature.
Not that it can understand me, right?
Suddenly, I was under attack by that Zombie boss thing, "Seems like I'll do better dodging than attacking this one!" I uttered.
The Zombie boss kept trying to land any sort of hit on me, and I Decided to go on defense mode, dodging and avoiding every hit I can.
I did ate some good beating in the process, but it wasn't anything serious, despite that the adrenaline rush that caused the pain to be more vivid.
I guess being an HHZ does make your human form stronger, better than a normal human being.
The Monster being horribly slow, got more irritated for not being able to catch me or hold me in one place, thanks to me, I kept moving around and changing directions to confuse it, hoping like a rabbit.
"it's big brain time dude! catch me if you can!" I said mockingly as I ducked underneath the monster's Arm.
"You're nothing but a big pile of flesh my guy...I wonder if I can eat you later?! damn you'd be a month worth of food for me! I'm thinking about a barbeque party!" I joked receiving another blow from the Zombie boss, it was not happy to say the least.
I was still not sure what to do with this monster, Ivan earlier said that he's bringing the team, so I Wasn't sure if I just need to hold this monster from moving to the town, or should I actually kill it.
"Let's hope those slow pokes make it here, before I become the barbeque for real!" I said to myself miraculously dodging another deadly blow from the monster.
I was getting tired, yet I knew I have to keep my guards up, I'm not against someone my size or someone I'm familiar with their methods, I need to be focused.
So far, I played tag with this Creature, Although it's visibly disoriented and wasn't attacking me as fast as it did at first, I hid for a short time behind a tree to catch my breath and thoughts.
"Wait! this big bitch got only three directions to look at, three heads!...west east north.
No south...I should you this to my advantages." I said to myself.
Then, in an instant, the tree I sheltered myself behind got wrecked by that Zombie boss with a single hit.
I escaped just in time before becoming the next target, "damn that was a close call captain!" Mickey said appearing out of nowhere behind me, he grabbed me and we hid behind another tree.
"DUDE! you can't sneak up on me like that!" I whisper-shouted.
"shushush! you done a good job exhausting that thing right there...still, killing it remains a little bit hard." Mickey replied to me whispering.
"This thing can see and hear pretty well...and got the advantage of a monster hight, three heads up there... it's like a walking human radar!" he added, I noticed he was carrying heck Alot of weapons on him.
"That thing still got a weakness though.
he can't see behind...all the heads are fixed on one of three directions, west, east and north...no south means the back is blind spot." I said to him.
"Good notice... Anything else before we engage there?" Mickey said requesting more information.
"sure the zombie Boss can see us from all three directions however he can only act immediately when it sees us face to face.
Also, despite having six arms that adds to the zombie's strength...this thing's weight is making it impossible for it to move and act fast, with just two legs. " I responded.
Mickey's eyes met mine, he had a funny look on his face.
"What?!" I demanded, he simply smiled replying to me with "Welcome back captain (Y/N), we missed you."
...Few minutes later...
The whole team was assembled as Omar, the twins and Ivan all came to join in on the fight.
Mickey and myself did whatever we could to maintain this monster in one place, we were kinda successful at it, since the zombie Boss was still far away from the town's place.
"did you guys stop for lunch at your way?! why did you guys take so long!!" I called out.
"Sorry we had to make sure we brought enough gear and ammo." Omar defended their actions, he was looking rather sharp today, plus he was armed with his rifle from yesterday and another one extra, a battle rifle on his back.
"Don't tell me you were going to Sultana's house today...boy you got some bad luck!
seems like even the Zombies ain't Gon let you get married." I joked at him, he frowned a bit.
Understandable.
The Jackson twins were going tomb raider style, with both of Nikita and Tamika Carrying Bows And arrows.
Ivan with the double guns in hand, his guns being semi automatic pistols, while carrying a sniper rifle on his back.
Mickey had two shotguns carried on his back and an M9 gun in hand, I've noticed he's got another m9 kept in his holster.
Where the fuck is these Motherfuckers getting weapons from?!
"Mick, mind landing me that good stuff right there!" I said pointing at the gun in his holster.
Mickey misunderstood the sign as it looked like I was point at his junk, " umm (Y/N) Dude! that ain't time to make moves now? we're supposed to take down the monster not each other.
that's later's business, if you want." Mickey replied to me confused, I could hear the twins holding their laughs in the background.
" BITCH PLEASE THE GUN MICKEY?! THE GUN!! I'm not hitting on you homie I want your gun the motherFUCKING M9 in your holster Bitch!
The one that shoots bullets and not babies ok! I got no weapon!" I tried to not scream too loud my answer at him since we were still hiding.
Mickey's face turned Red in embarrassment, looking away as he handed me the gun immediately " Thank you Mickey!" I replied glaring at him, he's a good boy but a little dummy sometimes.
"(Y/N) you can always try your luck with me" Tamika said to me winking.
"Nikita I'm gonna shot your Twin sister in the face." I replied making Tamika slightly hides behind her twin sister "Now be my guest captain, she's annoying." Nikita said jokingly " you traitor!!" Tamika yelled.
As soon as she said that the set of trees we Were hiding behind went flying to the sky, that Zombie boss throw a one punch that destroyed our hideout entirely.
"MOVE MOVE MOVE... EVERYONE GO BEHIND THAT MONSTER!" I yelled at them, at my word, we all moved as a single unit behind that hellish Abomination.
...Few minutes later...
Thanks to the zombie Boss's slow reflexes, we were able to put a number of bullets in its back, however thanks to the unnecessary hight of that thing it was relatively hard to aim for the head, we were far from just being exhausted.
we were running out of ammo too, even the twins couldn't collect most of their arrows back and they had to reserve to some hidden revolvers they had.
"close range won't don't us good...shit we gotta keep aiming for the head!" Omar shouted.
"No shit Sherlock, ya think!" I shouted back at Omar, the a thought came crossing my mind "Ivan YOU MF!! you got a sniper rifle, go somewhere high and use it!" I screamed.
"it's pointless you freak! it's impossible to shoot from this close distance...and I can't risk climbing any tree around with this god forsaken Stupid walker Removing trees from the ground like he's pulling out weed." Ivan replied, he just emptied another round of bullets from his hand guns.
this isn't looking good.
"Ivan is right, unless there's somewhere safe where he can aim better...this is going to be just gambling with his life." Mickey said.
Suddenly someone emerged from the woods into the battle field, judging from the hijab it was Sultana, she came dashing towards us.
" Sultana go BACK YOU'RE RISKING YOUR LIFE!!" Omar cried out.
"Shut up You mushroom head! I was waiting for your stupid ass to show up in my house, and none of your team not even you! had the decency to tell me you're fighting a zombie Boss instead!
you should be thanking me I brought you refill on Ammo." Sultana said pulling her backpack to the ground and quickly handing different types of ammo, improvised explosives, she even brought more arrows for the twins and and a machete!
we all went back hiding quickly to refill on our ammo and weapons, it seems like the monster was tired as well as it stopped thrashing around briefly,
" Sultana you're the real MVP!!" The twins cheered as they grabbed the arrows preparing to shoot again,
"I'm staying with you guys...this Boss is quite high level it won't be easy to defeat it with just weapons...(Y/N) this could be your chance to see what you can really do" Sultana stated looking at me with determinant eyes, Omar was not happy to hear that but he remained silent,
" what you have in mind?!" I asked her,
" I have an idea in mind how to unlock your abilities but you have to trust me ok? I never personally done this before but my sister Yildiz told me enough for me to try it out!" Sultana replied, she was grasping something in her hand, she was quite nervous too
" what's that weird sci-fi device?! where did you find one?!" The twins asked looking at the item Sultana carried in her hand,
" now it's not the time! (Y/N) answer me do you trust me can you trust me?!" Sultana asked me,
I decided to collect whatever Bravery I had stored into these a single " yes" I stated firmly,
Sultana then proceeded to placed one small thick metal plate behind each of my ears, she said it was an Electric shock device connected to the remote control in her hand that can send a signal to the metal plates on my head, this whole thing was meant to send an electric shock to my brain,
" in the HHZ agency where my sister is currently at...they have a combat system that uses HHZ abilities on the battlefield like yourself...the system is called the Demon-Slayer system or the DSS " said Sultana
" wait (Y/N) you're a Human hybrid ZOMBIE!!" The twins said in union, I kinda forgot I didn't tell them about it,
"yeah demon slayer?! that sounds like a show's name... what's the deal behind it?!" I questioned
" it's a system where the demon is the HHZ and the Slayer is a human fighter trained to control that HHZ " Mickey said causing me to turn my head towards him, he sure knows heck a lot,
" technically I'm going to act out as your Slayer...eat this first we need you to feel super hungry at the moment!" Sultana stated offering me a funky color bottle?
" a juice really? why you wanna put me in hunger mood I literally almost transformed into a Zombified freak?!" I said
Sultana was getting more stressed out, the Zombie boss started slowly moving again "that's the whole point (Y/N) you can't transform on your own due to your memory loss... I'm not even sure with natural healing ability how come you lost your memories but we have to try this method instead...this juice should be able to get the job done drink it!" she said
everyone else was looking at me in amusement, they were waiting on me to gulp down this drink, and I did it in one go
" ugh ew shit what did I swallow?! this taste like horse Ba**s!!" I complained but suddenly I started to feel super uneasy, whatever this juice was it was taking effect pretty quickly,
" now listen to me while everyone else is going to support you on this... you'll be the one facing that monster face to face...the hunger is already kicking in i can see it in your complexion (Y/N)...this device connected to your head will allow me to electrocute you after your transformation to turn back into a human...so don't worry you won't get stuck being a mindless zombie... whatever happens don't freak out...when you turn into a zombie you'll still be able to think for a good amount of time as a human ...use your augmented Abilities to fight... let's hope you turn out to be one of the big boys" Sultana explained to me
I was feeling the same as that time when I first went hungry after that chocolate bar, yet I just like sultana said My mind was much more clear, I can see my skin changes colors again
" what do you mean by the big boys?!" I asked
