Though the school appeared to be fairly simple on the outside but was far too complicated on the inside. Four classes A through D, are ranked in order of merit, and only the top class receive favorable treatment. Favorable treatment ranged from an outrageous amount of allowance, with no conditions on spending, to an unparalleled amount of freedom. The campus had everything, that anyone could ever desire, but only the top-scoring classes can fully utilize the school's offerings, and Class D is the furthest from such a status. Standing at the bottom of the hierarchy, Class D houses all of the school's "worst" students or better known as "Defectives". Chapter 1 - Equality

I know this is kind of sudden, but, please, it will only take a moment.

I want your honest opinion.

Are people equal or not?

.

.

.

.

Well, so many questions right? Like what the hell is he asking? Why on earth, I need to know why people are equal or not, is it even necessary?

Before answering all those questions, let me give you the answer to my question.

Okay. Take a deep breath. All right, here we go!

Are people equal or not?

"No, we are not equal."

To be human is to be unequal. Equality doesn't exist.

Let me rephrase that a little…

A proper society will constantly strive for equality. These are those who clamor for men & women to be always considered equal. As a result, we raised the employment rate for women; we made specialized subway cars only for women. Sometimes, women will even argue over the order of names in a family register, in many countries, there are so many laws that prioritize women over men in literally everything.

The public opinion of people with disabilities has also changed. We are now told that we should not use the term "disabled people" when referring to them, so as not to discriminate. Children are taught that all people are created equal.

But is that true? If men & women have different abilities, then their roles should also differ. People with disabilities are still disabled, no matter what polite euphemisms you use. No matter how you try to avert your eyes, the meaning of the word doesn't change.

Long ago, in a bygone era, a great man said that heaven doesn't set one man above or below any other. However, he didn't necessarily adhere to the idea that everyone is equal. Did you know that there is more to that passage? The rest goes like this: Everyone is equal when they are born, so I ask, why do we see differences in position and status? And it continues. Do you or do you not encourage learning to create a difference?

So then, education creates an imbalance.

Even though this is the year 2022, the modern era, nothing about this teaching has changed. The situation has only grown more complex & fraught.

Sigh!

In any case, we are human beings. We are living, thinking creatures.

I don't think it is right to simply say that we are unequal & then live our lives based on pure instinct, In other words, "equality" is a complete lie, and we cannot accept inequality, either. Right now, I am trying to come up with a new answer to humanity's eternal question.

----------

So there you have it, that's my answer.

And about your questions…Well, why don't you read ahead & find out?
