"So did you find her?"
"Well clearly not, she's not with him is she?" Noah said sarcastically, rolling his eyes. His good mood had vanished as soon as the sun began to set, their search was meaningless and the princess was not found. They returned back in silence, each not knowing what to say to the other. Lucas's expression was masked as always, however his brother was able to tell what was on his mind. Call it twin intuition.
"What happened?" He asked Lucas, falling behind just to match his pace. It seemed as if Lucas was in no hurry to return home, he was dragging his feet and seemingly kicking a few rocks he found on the side walk. It was suspicious in Ethan's eyes. Lucas never gave up and yet it seemed as if it was the end of the world because they weren't able to find her.
"Nothing happened." He simply replied, turning his head to the side to shield his expression but to not make it obvious that he was hiding something.
