"Hmm..."Lia sighed heavily. Jennett, who was trimming the freshly picked flowers, glanced back at the princess. Lia lay on the bed, her head resting on her arm while the other flicked through the pages of the book that her brother Lucas helped located just the day before. Jennett looked puzzled, as to why her princess was reading a fairytale book about gods and goddesses. Jennett was not a believer, she'd seen how harsh the world around her was, there was no way a god would let its people suffer. She prayed to god, once upon a time. But her prayers weren't answered, for the one that she wished to serve was no longer of this world.
"Is there anything I can do for you, my lady?" She asked, approaching the princess slowly. She glanced up at her maid with big green eyes and a frown on her face. Jennett smiled softly and approached the princess further. Lia sat up, holding the book open for her.
