Zee's POV
Jazz and I found ourselves embracing Tracie with a super tight hug. The poor girl almost toppled over thanks to our excited reaction. I couldn't believe she was really here!
Now my team was complete and I was confident we would kick ass with her around.
Tracie - Lee is one of the company's junior graphic designers as well as a successful photographer. I mean the girl is a go-getter and has had three successful exhibitions back home, which is one of the reasons I had recommended her to RM.
"Oh my word, I can't believe you're finally here!" Jazz squealed, still embracing her.
"I know right! The next time we plan a trip we are all leaving at the same time," I stated, also still embracing the poor girl.
"Okay guys, I know you are happy to see me but I can't breathe," she said.
Jazz and I giggled and let her go. Danny and Jake finally came forward and embraced her as well. Of course, they were far better then myself and Jazz, they didn't cling to her like we did
"I thought Giovann was coming along with you," Jake said.
"He was meant to but something came up that needed his attention. The higher ups wanted him to tighten up the security network before he left," Tracie explained.
I had completely forgotten to tell Danny and Jake about the new developments. Jazz had received an email from him regarding the matter and Sasha had called to inform us as well. Jazz wasn't happy about it but thought it was for the best as she wanted to spend some time with Tracie before he arrived.
Nevertheless, I had my entire team around me and it could not get any better than this. We were all huddled around her for around 15 minutes until we heard someone clear their throat. It was RM as always.
"Oh yes! My apologies... Tracie, this is BTS. We have been partnered up with them for the competition. Gentlemen, meet Tracie - photographer and junior graphic designer."
"Ok, let's see if I can get this right. You're RM, Suga, Jin and J-Hope," Tracie said with confidence.
"I'm impressed Trace, I always knew you were a fan at heart ," I say, with a smile.
"Well, I mean you talk about them all the time back home. I was bound to know who's who in the zoo," she teased.
I blinked my eyes and looked at her, shaking my head in embarrassment.
"Is that so," Yoongi said, "I knew there was more to you than meets the eye," he concluded looking at me.
"Tracie is exaggerating, I'm a normal fan like all the others," I said.
"If you say so. You can call me Yoongi by the way and it's lovely to meet you," he said, taking charge.
It was usually RM's role to introduce the group but Yoongi ended up doing it. RM was silent the entire time. He just said a mere hello to Tracie and then left to go to his bedroom.
I knew what was bothering him and I currently wasn't in the mood to address it now. It was important I keep my distance from him and only speak to him regarding work. Tracie arrived and we had finally won a challenge. It was time to celebrate and have fun.
"Oh yeah Zee, I have something for you," Tracie said running back inside.
She came back holding a big ass teddy and I just couldn't help myself.
"Eeeeep!!!! Mr Snuggles," I squeaked, "But how?," I asked her.
"Well rumour has it that you have been a bit stressed and down lately, so I called your sister Zoe and arranged with her to send up your cuddle buddy. It arrived two days ago and luckily I was able to board with it," she explained.
This time I gave her the biggest hug ever and thanked her for uniting me with my cuddle buddy.
Now I know the nightmares will go away.
(Thirty minutes later)
I had made my way upstairs and left the others to continue partying. I wasn't tired or anything but I had to go get my new room ready. I had promised Jazz that she could share with Tracie until Gio arrived. Luckily I had packed all my necessary things that I would need while using this room.
I sat on the bed holding Mr. Snuggles taking in the silence around me. It's so weird that I'll be alone for the next couple of days but I guess it's better that way. I'll be able to focus on my work without any distractions.
I got back onto my feet and made my way towards the door. I wanted to join the gang downstairs and catch up with Tracie. As I opened the door, there he was, leaning against the rail. He looked at me with pain in his eyes and started shaking his head.
"Why?" he asked.
"I'm sorry?" I said, not understanding him.
"Why won't you forgive and let me in?" he asked, with tears forming in his eyes.
I was dumbstruck and frozen on the spot. I didn't know what to say next...
