Zee's POV
The girls and I were chilling in their room, sitting on the floor laughing at what Tracie was telling us. She really came prepared to dish out a lot of drama from back home. She wasn't holding back at all as every story she told us had a back story. I had really missed her and her charming personality.
The guys were still down stairs continuing the party. We had gone upstairs so we could finally have girl time and bond over some drinks. We were on the floor, laughing at nonsensical jokes and trying to bring Tracie up to speed.
"So," Tracie started, "What's the story between you and Namjoon?" she asked looking directly at me.
I shot Jazz a look, "You told her?" I asked glaring at her.
"No, the only person I told was Giovann. I don't know how Tracie knew," Jazz said in defense.
"Jazz didn't have to say anything. The tension between the two of you is thick. I'm shocked the guys haven't picked up on it," Tracie said.
I looked at both girls and I could feel my cheeks getting flushed. All Jazz knew is that I had kissed Namjoon. She didn't know about the other two incidents. Jazz nudged me with her elbow, indicating I should say something but I just kept my mouth shut and my head down. Tracie knew how to make someone talk which is why I didn't look directly at her.
"They kissed," Jazz announced.
I looked at her shocked, while Tracie was squealing on the other side of me.
"Why?" I asked.
"You weren't saying anything and besides she was bound to find out."
Tracie scooted closer to me and looked at me with her curious eyes. I laughed while I looked back at her, she didn't have to open her mouth for me to know what she was thinking. She was asking if there was more to the story then just the kiss. I breathed and looked at her with a nod.
"Whaaat!!! When? How?" she asked.
"Wait, there's more?" Jazz asked, looking confused.
I nodded feeling very ashamed. This is not how I had wanted them to find out; in fact I didn't want anybody to know besides Sasha.
"We hooked up twice," I said looking at the floor, "First time was the night of the cocktail party and the second time the night after."
Both girls went dead silent, until they were both squealing and shrieking like maniacs. I tried to shush them and keep them calm, as I didn't want the whole world to know.
"Everything okay ladies?" Danny asked by the stairwell.
"We're good," I responded loudly.
"So something did happen," Jazz started, "No wonder you were in such a good mood the day you cooked breakfast. He must have really put it down," she said giggling.
I laughed at her comment, taking a sip of my wine. I explained how everything happened. From the first night we spent to the second night. I also explained that we were planning to explore the attraction we had for each other but things got complicated. Tracie was still in awe with all the news.
"So what does this mean for the two of you?" she asked.
"Nothing," I responded firmly, "we are just friends and partners. I mean we have a competition to win."
Both girls scooted closer to me and gave me worried looks. They knew very well the reason why I would not get into another relationship. It all had to do with my past. Which is partly true but I've always put my work first above everything else.
"Zee, you need to let go and have some fun," Tracie said holding my hand.
"You can't let what happened with Wayne hold you back," Jazz said, "And no one is saying forget about the competition but you need to live your life as well."
"I am living my life guys. I'm here with all of you and my favourite K-Pop group, what more could I ask for?" I said with a smile.
"A summer love story," Jazz said.
Tracie and I both looked at her and ended up laughing. Jazz was many things but not a romantic. If anything she was more the realistic one in the group. Her and Tracie both. Which is why we were both shocked at what she said.
"Look guys, what happened between Namjoon and myself, happened. So let's not bring it up again and put all our focus on winning the competition," I said with a smile.
Both girls agreed to let it go and promised not to tell anyone or bring it up again. I soon made my way back to my room as I was super tired and ready to sleep. Tracie and Jazz had started their talks regarding anime which gave me a good excuse to leave.
When I got to my room, I couldn't help but think about what Jazz said. I sat on my bed, holding Mr. Snuggles, replaying her words in my head. Maybe she was right. Maybe it was time for me to let go of my past and move on.
