"Haha! Easy, isn't it?"
Anna sighed shaking her head while Andrew just looked at Kyra in displeasure, whereas the frog sat on the edge of the coffee table, completely lifeless and heartbroken.
Who would love to kiss a frog? And worse even with pure feelings?
"By any chance, do you have a girlfriend?" Kyra slowly asked after a minute and Anna was the one to stop her. It wasn't the ideal time to work on her ideas. He needed time and they should respect his privacy.
"Go, ask your Highness Atlanta if she has any other solutions!" Anna mumbled pushing her out of the room.
A few minutes later.
"What did she say?" Anna asked with all hopes and when Kyra shook her head, the two sighed out loud whereas Kevin was almost on the verge of tears.
"But, Nana said she will find something soon! But, until then she is asking us to try out this 'Kiss Me' cure. She is betting this would definitely work!" Kyra added with all determination. But Anna just shook her head warning her to zip that mouth, she looked at the frog which was silent.
"All we need to do is find the right girl! Someone like his soulmate." Kyra slowly added, when the frog glared she shut her mouth and looked away from it.
"Is this some fairy tale to you Kyra?" Kevin questioned, his tears almost wetting his green cheeks, "How can I go search for someone and beg them to kiss me!"
"And bloody hell, even if I find some princess! Will she kiss me? This little frog out of sympathy? Would you do it if you end up being that princess?"
"No, Way! I will die than kissing you!" Kyra instantly denied and the other sighed out loud. As she bit her tongue realizing what she said, Kevin just sighed out loud.
She sighed out loud and finally apologized now that she looked so miserable, "I am sorry for making you suffer. I literally had no intention of transforming you into a frog! Trust me!"
And when it sighed, she slowly mumbled, "I was trying to transform that culprit and save you from it."
Anna sighed out loud so did Andrew when Kyra finally confessed her crime. Though she was late, they were glad she gave him a proper explanation.
"But," Pausing for a while, Kyra continued, "Don't worry, I will try all my vain to transform you back into your normal state." And when the frog looked at her, she added, " And you can even sue if you wish, I deserve it and I am going to accept it without fussing. I promise!"
Andrew sighed pressing his temples as his head was currently spinning in a merry-go-round, while Anna sipped a glass of water. The solution was just truly illogical only working in movies and fairy tales. They needed something better, a potion or a spell that could transform back Kevin and help them attend the DP meeting.
And Andrew blinked as he had forgotten to inform them of the most important news. The Disciplinary committee meeting was moved to this afternoon, all thanks to the sudden death of that creature. Kyra was innocent as she had really locked the door and even checked before leaving, but his seniors believed she still needed to be punished and had urgently preponed the meeting.
And he was here to take all of them with him! But, only to be blocked by one more bad news! Worst one actually!
"There's something I forgot to inform you guys." Andrew changed the topic. Though it was not essential, he still wanted to clear Kyra's name hoping Kevin would go easy on her.
"We actually saw the CCTV footage, and it wasn't because of Kyra's negligence that the culprit escaped." And when the three looked at him in confusion, he continued, "Kyra locked the cell door properly and even checked it before teleporting. Trust me, I saw it with my own eyes!" He added the last line looking at Kevin.
Sighing out loud, he continued, "It even possessed the power of teleportation! So, once Kyra left the cell, it somehow managed to break all its defending devices, and even was way stronger to deactivate most of the Cell's logarithms. It even broke the log that wouldn't allow anyone to use magic inside, and broke out the cell using a teleporting spell."
Kyra sighed out loud, while Kevin just closed his eyes to hold back those tears. Though Andrew was trying to make him feel his rage towards Kyra, he was actually rebuked to kill her even knowing that it was not completely her fault.
"And what Kyra said about," Clearing his throat, he added, "reading its thoughts. It's true!"
"What?" Anna was the first one to burst out, and even Kevin looked at him in surprise.
"Actually, AI-team managed to relocate its memories using the mind controller device over its head. We heard its thoughts in the form of audio, and yes it was connecting with Kyra!"
"But, how?" Anna asked still confused. Even she wasn't able to read any of its thoughts during her encounter on the highway. But, how did Kyra manage to do it? She looked at Kyra who just shrugged in reply.
"That, we still need to find out!"
Looking at Kyra, Andrew gave them another bolt of shock, "And because of this unexpected outcome, those higher-ups have decided to meet you soon. A meeting is arranged at 1.00, today."
"What?" The three shrieked in unison.
"How could I meet them in this state?' Kevin grumbled looking at himself upside down.
"I have no idea!" Andrew replied sighing out loud. Everything was happening so fast in the past two days, that his brain stopped working and he had no idea to solve everything. Specifically, the bigger one! Kevin's Curse Mishap!
"I think we should give it a try," Kyra mumbled nervously looking at the frog who had its head hung low, "I might be intruding, but let us know if you have a girlfriend! Or any girl who like loved you? Maybe expressed her emotions?"
And when it stared at her, mostly annoyed that she was being too pushy, Kyra tried convincing him, "Look, Nana told me that even if it is one-sided love, it would work! And yup, if any girl had strong feelings for you, she is betting that this would work for sure! Within that instant!"
"Stop pushing him to the edge Kyra!" Anna was the one to answer. She could easily read his thoughts, and the poor soul still needed time to accept this harsh truth. He was still furious with her, but there were strong self-sabotaging feelings like regret, remorse, and pain overshadowing his rage. And she felt pity looking at him. Poor guy, he didn't deserve any of this and she couldn't blame Kyra either.
Everything was just an unpredictable accident, and she just wished for him to understand it very soon.
"Let's go attend the meeting first!" Andrew suggested and looked at Kevin. he added, "You can think until the meeting is over. We will cover up saying you are sick."
"Yes, he is right! And, trust me, Kevin," Placing her palm over her heart, Kyra added, "I won't ignore you or try escaping from you. I have committed a crime and I will surely pay for it. And I will even get a better solution for you soon. Believe me, I am not just giving fake promises. I will do everything to transform you back."
Anna smiled hearing her words. She knew Kyra was not someone who would escape from responsibilities, and she just wished for this accident to bring these two closer. Even if it manages to cut off their fighting, she wouldn't mind seeing Kevin suffer in that frog state for a few more days.
"Fine, I will try accepting it." The little frog mumbled sighing out loud. As long as Kyra was ready to accept her crime and be responsible for it, he would try, only try to stop blaming her.

10:00 AM, Chief Adams office.
Andrew had asked them to rush to his office soon after completing the hospital procedures. And now that they were here, he was giving them another shock.
"So, you want Kyra to go against their every word and fight like she usually does?" Venessa asked again, still unable to decipher what her Chief was currently suggesting to them. He had become a whole different person, and she was doubting if it was just a dream.
"I don't have any problem with it." Kyra shrugged and added, "I was actually going to do it even without your advice!"
Yes, she was saying the truth! They had caught such a dangerous creature, and they were doing injustice to all their hard work. So instead of sitting quiet and nodding to their punishments, Kyra had planned to start a war and get at least some rewards before coming out of that meeting hall.
"I know you will." Sighing out loud, he added, "But I have a bigger task for you."
And when all the three ladies looked at him in confusion, even the frog that had settled inside Kyra's coat pocket since it was freezing cold, Andrew added, "Demand them to make us the Supernovas! Snatch those rights from team alpha, and put us as the ruler unit of SCD!"
"What?" Venessa almost stood up hearing his absurd words.
"Come on, Chief! You are almost asking her to get kicked out indirectly." Even Anna commented as he was being totally stupid. Snatching a team's right, even demanding such a reward was risky as that would put them on the negative side of many people. Politics ruled a lot in their organization, and Andrew was just asking Kyra to give those politicians a better reason to kick her out.
"Yup, Anna is right!" Even the little frog sneaking out of its cocoon mumbled holding the pocket hem.
"Will you do it for me? For our whole team?" Andrew ignored them and looked at Kyra.
She was thinking about his words and he just hoped for she to agree with his devilish plan.
