I listen as that handsome man's voice speaks into my ears again but then for no reason he stops talking in the middle of his sentence. I do not even know what to think as I say.
"Bravo Romeo 05, this Tower. We read you. Over?"

Suddenly my heart starts to race at the thought that my dad might have been right and that his mental decline is happening. But then I hear something else in his voice which reminds me of when we spoke on the ship's deck about his mother. Then I hear him trying again.
"Tower, this is Bravo Romeo 05. Tango Charlie 03 has been…has been…eliminated"
I turn to the controller for Tango Charlie 03 and I see my superior standing next to her with a hand on her shoulder. I realize that she must have confirmed what Brian just told me.
