I want to ask him why the hell not? Do they not know that their best man is out there? Did they see that he destroyed all three targets by himself and the enemy planes? Why would they not go and look for him? Then they turn away from me and I quickly stand up acting as if I am getting something. I make sure to hear what they are discussing.
"…he is smack down in the middle of enemy territory…"
"I saw, we can not get him there"
"I know, maybe if he can just get closer to shore…"
I feel my entire body starting to shake. The thought of leaving him all alone over there makes my entire being sick. I quickly go back to my station and out of pure desperation, I send out a broadcast. I know that I am not allowed as this is not the protocol but right now, that is the last thing I am thinking about.
