The hospital administration received a call today. The manager of SAMSUNG Ghana wanted to pay Dome and Mamle a visit. Mamle did not seem to be in a good shape after the nasty scene yesterday, yet, Dome was available. The receptionist, despite her many words could not convince the visitors that Mamle was not available.
"We understand her situation," he said. "We won't be of much trouble. We promised her a phone and want to fulfil it."
"Can you not leave it at the front desk for her?" asked the receptionist." I will personally hand it over to her."
"Madam. Are you averse to visitors?" he asked, exasperated. "I thought you would be happy that your clients have someone who cares much about them? Do you not encourage the public to be compassionate? Is that not what we are doing?"
"I'm sorry," she said. "We'll get her ready. " You can come in an hour."
"We are close by," he replied. "Will fifteen minutes do?" The receptionist was perspiring. The manager was putting her on her toes.
"Alright, you can come." After getting off the phone, she got in touch with Dome.
"Are you aware that the SAMSUNG Company in Ghana wants to present Mamle with a phone?"
"Yes I am," Dome replied. "But I didn't believe them."
"They are on their way." That information left Dome dumbfounded.
"What! Mamle is not ready!" he said, covering his mouth.
"I thought so too, but they insisted."
"No problem. Can I not receive it on her behalf?"
"No. They want to see her."
