Lui Feng walked towards an abandoned warehouse that once belonged to a powerful pack, they were stripped of power and made to live as mere Lycans. This angered them immensely and they blamed the Lui pack for their misfortune. Though the Lui pack could easily wipe them out, Alpha Feng took his time to play with them a little but he had to get rid of them tonight before they caused more problems.
He walked in and he noticed all of them hide in the shadows, the center of the warehouse was lit up by the moonlight through a hole in the roof and he stood there in all his glory feeling their fear. He guessed they didn't expect the Alpha of the Lui pack to come tonight, well he was feeling bored so he'd take so Lycans then.
"Let's deal with this fast I better be out of here before sunrise", he stated loud enough for all of them to hear and immediately transformed into wolf form. Most of the Lycans tried to escape fearing for their lives when they saw this, but the warehouse had been locked with the Alpha's men guarding the exit.
Realizing their options were limited the Lycans charged at him with full force and he tore them open one by one their agonizing screams filled the air throughout the night.
He came out doused in Lycan blood, looking like he had ascended from hell with a victorious smirk on his lips. He headed back to where his men were on standby and cleaned up, while the rest of the men went in and cleaned up the bodies of the Lycans.
A few hours later Ying Yue woke up refreshed and ready for what the day had to offer, she checked the side of her bed but when she realized what she was doing she rolled her eyes. She sat still on the bed lost in thought. What the hell was she expecting? She needed to keep her distance from this man he could be dangerous.
Although the fact remained that if he was she wouldn't be here right now sleeping comfortably in his bed right? Or was this just part of some plan? Well whatever she trusted him, someone who was so handsome wouldn't lie to her. Yeah, she was just going to stick with that.
A few moments later the door opened and Feng and Aiguo walked in."What are you thinking of so early in the morning?" he said smiling at her calmly taking his seat next to her and that terrified Aiguo greatly.
Moments ago his master was on a killing spree and after cleaning up he acted as if nothing had happened. He wondered what the Miss would do if she found out, he was very fond of the last Miss, Lady Li Jing and she didn't know the master's secret until her last days, he sighed inwardly.
"Nothing", she said all flustered, she didn't expect to see them again so soon and why did he keep doing that, walking in unannounced and attacking her poor heart with how pretty his smile was. Even though it wasn't her room he could at least knock to be polite.
"What are you doing here so early in the morning?" she asked not noticing how his eyes darkened, he ignored her question and turned to Aiguo.
"Aiguo, who's here without me being informed?" he asked with fury written all over his face, how could he not sense that annoying presence sooner?
"Second Master requested that you weren't informed, since you would sense him yourself", Aiguo replied sweat beads forming on his forehead, he hated being caught up in the Lui siblings' fights.
The next moment a force pushed Aiguo to the ground, if the Master hadn't controlled himself due to the human's presence he could have suffered a much worse fate.
Aiguo struggled to get up and rubbed his forehead, groaning when he noticed Ying Yue's eyes widen at his fall.
"Sorry I must've slipped and fell, hope I didn't scare you", he said getting up he bowed his head and left the room without saying another word. Lui Feng was consumed by anger, and saying anything else could worsen the situation.
"Stay here, don't move or you might get yourself hurt," said Lui Feng with a frightening glow in his eyes, but there was something else, fear. He didn't want his brother here, especially when the Lady was around. Ying Yue immediately nodded and gave a small smile.
Lui Feng stared into her eyes he could see confusion and fear which made his eyes soften but he knew what he was capable of when he was angry so he left. Lui Feng got downstairs to just see his brother on the throne which was meant for the Alpha of the pack.
He had to keep his cool and think of his next moves carefully or his brother would find something to use against him. What not many people knew was that Lui Feng was the younger brother but because his blood was purer he was chosen as Alpha a position which Lui Shui coveted greatly. Although the position wasn't assured until he was properly crowned under the Red Moon which unlocked his full strength as Alpha but it hadn't shown up yet so his enemies thought they still had plenty of opportunities to get his position.
"Seems a pet doesn't know not to sit in his master's seat because its place is at its owner's feet", said Lui Feng tauntingly, this angered his brother and he stood up slowly with a dark glow in his eyes, scoffing at his words.
"Says the heartless owner who killed almost a hundred of his kind just last night", he said happy with what happened last night and the fact that if the council heard of this Lui Feng could be stripped of power meaning the position would go to him.
"They aren't my kind Lui Shui, maybe yours but not mine. Besides they were your men so I had to deal with them properly", replied Lui Feng with a smirk on his face, Lui Shui looked annoyed at this how the hell did Lui Feng find out that they were sent by him he had made sure he kept that information under tight wraps.
"It was nice seeing you, I'll make sure I come visit again. Maybe this time we'll be able to sit and have a meal together". said Lui Shui leaving disappointed and angered, all the people present sighed thank God did Lui brothers didn't go for each other's throats this time but it was too early to be celebrating. "Oh and Lui Feng make sure to bring your lady, Li Jing or should I say Ying Yue", then he laughed maniacally and dashed off making it look like he disappeared into thin air.
Lui Feng frowned at this it was almost impossible to hide anything from his brother and his mind games. He sighed inwardly, he'd take care of that problem later but for now, he had to take care of the one he caused.
"Aiguo, prepare the car, I'll be going out soon and get the maids to serve breakfast for me and Ying Yue", said Lui Feng as he walked up the stairs at a superhuman speed. He got to her room and met her lying on the bed and almost every second she'd turn and sigh. It took her a while to notice him and when she did she jumped off the bed and stood fiddling with her fingers.
He smiled and walked towards almost cornering her making her hide her face.
"You haven't eaten anything yet, get dressed and come down for breakfast", he said then he walked away, leaving her to her thoughts. How could someone be like this? He was cold as ice a few moments ago with that glow in his eyes now and he's acting like nothing happened.
She got into the bath and so many thoughts raced through her mind. He had given her a place to stay since she couldn't remember what happened that night and she hated to admit it but she felt like he'd been doing a lot for her and she had done nothing, it made her feel helpless as she hugged her knees. Right now she leeching off him and she was going to have to repay him but how? All she knew was today was going to have to be her last day in the Lui mansion, he had already done enough for her.
Lui Feng was getting impatient he had waited more than thirty minutes! They weren't wrong when they said women liked to take their time, although he would wait as long as she wanted but he was growing impatient.
A few moments later she came down and all he could say was that it was worth the wait she looked so gentle and took slow and careful steps. The maids ushered her to her seat and she started eating without a care in the world, he was full just watching her.
She noticed he was staring and tried to use her hair to cover her face to hide her embarrassment but he didn't stop. He took that time to inform her they would be visiting somewhere, she was curious but he refused to give her any more information.
When she was done he took her out in the car they were going to a place unapproachable to human feet. The place where he met Lady Li Jing. It was a long drive and by the time they got there she had fallen asleep, she looked so cute when she was sleeping. Only God knew how badly he wanted to imprint on her and make her his but he couldn't possibly do that to her, not again his world was too dangerous for someone like her. But if someday, somehow she decided to be in his world he would protect and love her even after his last breath.
He just sat there staring at her face he didn't have the heart to wake her up so he waited for her. A few minutes later she opened her eyes and yawned.
"Are we there yet", she said rubbing her eyes, she looked like a child, and he smiled at her warmly.
"Yes, come on out", he said, and then she saw what could be the most beautiful thing she had ever seen in her life it was a garden blooming with life but there was something off about this garden, but she just couldn't put her finger on it. "Welcome to my world Ying Yue", he said with a smile that didn't reach his eyes.
"It's beautiful", she replied smiling, lost in its beauty.
"That's on the outside, the bodies of thousands of men, soldiers, emperors, and much more than you can ever imagine were buried here but after a while a garden grew here hiding the many dark secrets of people, this is my world, Ying Yue. It looks very delicate and pretty but it's hell, a place where only the fittest survive", he said with an undecipherable tone, he looked back at her the smile on her face was gone and she seemed to be thinking hard about something, his eyebrows furrowed at this. What was she thinking about?
