Fiona still held confusion In her eyes. What was Twilight doing here.
He backed a bit away from her. His face held no sign of worry, like barging Into someone's privacy was his hobby. "What are you doing here?". Fiona spoke In a low tone.
"Calm down skinny legs. I'm not here to touch you. I've seen better". What did he just say to me, he has seen better. Something In Fiona's chest stroke with pain. "Then why are you here? ". Covering her arms around her exposed chest. Even though she wore the bikini, she still felt exposed.
"Shh.. ". He shushed her when he heard footsteps. Facing his head to where the curtain for the changing room wore. He laid his back on the wall, as If waiting to attack. The next moments, the footsteps stopped In front of her changing room, where she could see the shadow of whoever was passing. After some seconds, the steps continued, but this time It felt like the person walked away. He relaxed his body away from the wall, and then faced her with a straight face.
"What's going on?. You still haven't answered my question". He stepped closer, breaking her personal space before saying, "And what If I say I won't answer". Deadpanned Twilight. He raised a brow, he then used one of his hands to play with the ropes that were designed on the bra.
Fiona stood frozen, not knowing what to do. "Then you have to leave". She turned her face away from his darting gaze, which scanned her like a predator.
"And what If I say I won't leave". He then placed one of his hands to the side of the wall where she turned her face to.
"T-Then I will scream". The words came out shaky from her lips. "Scream? Then I slit your throat". Fiona felt as If his words were empty threats, but somewhere between life and death, she had to comply.
"I'm waiting skinny legs, scream, and It shall be your last one". With no reply, he moved his hand that had been playing with the ropes on her bra, then to her hair. "So your attending that arrant nonsense. You do fulfil the Impression of being stupid, don't you? ". Fiona moved her eyes back at him. He never stops, even at a slight chance to Insult her.
"What do you care". Her eyes angry. Forgetting her nakedness was at a peak to being expose. Cause who knows what was going on In his mind. He pulled the back of her hair tightly, letting out a soft gasp from her mouth. He sniffed her neck before pulling himself from her, to then say,
"Aha!, your right, what do I care how you play with your stupidity. You never change, do you?". Backing away from her, he looked at her with pale bored eyes, he then says , "Be careful Marvin, danger lurks everywhere". He held distaste on his face. He swung the curtain open before leaving. Fiona let's out a sigh of relief. This boy was weird, Fiona thought. First you barge In, Insult me and then sniff me. What a freak.
After her and Aviva had paid for their things, they both headed home.
Immediately she got home, she met her dad questioning eyes. He moved his eyes to the shopping bag Fiona held. "You went shopping, why didn't you Invite your old man to tag along". He stepped closer to her and pet her head. "So what did you buy?". Fiona felt her heart jolt. She hid the shopping bag behind her.
"Nothing dad, just girl stuff". She smiled nervously. Her dad felt something wrong and demanded she showed him the bag. "Really dad, Its nothing". Her dad didn't believe her so easily, he put a hand forward, gesturing for her to hand It over. Fiona didn't know what to do, but hand It over.
As he got hold of the bag, he searched It bringing out the bikini bra with the tips of his finger, as If touching filth. "What are you doing with this". His eyes darting back to Fiona's, who looked like a wet puppy.
Before he could scold her, Daisy entered the living room. "Fiona, your back". She got to were they stood and collected the shopping bag and bra from her dad. "Dad, these are ladies stuff, Fiona went shopping for me. I was exhausted and tired, so I decided to kill two mummies with one pharaoh". Daisy joked, knowing the joke was related to his trip, but he didn't find It funny.
He crossed his hand behind his back and listened to her explanation. "I called Fiona If she were close to the mall, and she happened to be. So, I asked her to buy me some bikinis for the beach, which I would be going to, this Saturday with my boyfriend ". Daisy smiled warmly. Their dad just smiled back In agreement, before saying. "Be careful then". He patted her head before leaving.
When they were sure he had left them alone, Fiona thanked Daisy a lot. "No need to thank me, just go with the bag quickly before he gets back". She handed the bag to Fiona, she then ran up the stairs to her room.
Closing the door, she let out a breath of relief.
Days rolled over, and It landed on Friday, hours to the party. Fiona paced her thoughts back and forth, on how she would sneak out.
The answer came to her, but she would need Daisy's help. She just got back from school that day, she hadn't even change as she ran to Daisy's room.
Fiona knocks calmly on the door. "Come In". Daisy spoke from behind the door. She entered to find Daisy In her robe. "Sorry to disturb you, but I need a favor". Daisy squinted her eyes at Fiona. Her hair was left to fall on her shoulders, she then adjusts her robe.
"It's about the party". Fiona said closing the door. "I need you to act as a decoy for me, just this once". "Hmm.. Continue". She bit the Inside of her cheeks.
"Okay... ". She brought her hands together. She continued. "...Can you please drop me off at Aviva's". Daisy knew where Fiona was heading but smiled. Before Fiona could say another word, Daisy finished her sentence for her. "So you can fake a study time". Daisy nodded her head In approval, then added. "No problem then, you can leave now, have to prepare". Knowing what Daisy was preparing for, Fiona left her room.
Daisy really seemed fond of her boyfriend Xavier, that she always took a date with him seriously.
That aside, she had everything In place and was ready.
The next day came sooner, like flipping to the next page of a book. I felt so tense and hoped my plan would work out.
In the dining table, everyone ate lunch peacefully, where no one uttered a word.
I excused myself from the dining when I was done eating. I decided to head to the library, where I found the journal still made me wonder. I got In how I did last time and stepped Into the place I saw the journal.
My mind still wasn't clear on how this Jinx guy got Into our mansion. Although our mansion was as old as Big Ben, and dad mentioned the mansion belonged to our family line, I still got confused. So those that mean witches and wizards existed. The questions rumbled In me.
Fiona checked her phone for the time and saw It was already four. Had she spent much time In here, she thought to herself.
Getting out of the secret room and closing It's hidden door, Fiona got to her room quickly to change Into something decent, cause she had been wearing her slacked pants and baggy shirt leaving her hair to sway on It's on, not bordering to pack It. She usually felt lazy on Saturdays.
She got her short white pleat skirt, which was above her knees, a dark blue turtle neck and put on black leather shoes which were above her ankles. She added white stockings with blue dots designs, which stopped on her shins.
When she felt ready, she folded the bikini Into the same shopping bag and placed some few books on top, just for precautions.
Putting on the backpack, Fiona headed to the living room were everyone sat. Her dad was telling Bluebell something, while Britney read most of the books dad brought home from his journey. On the other hand Daisy and her mom were having a warm discussion. Daisy laughed when my mom said something that amused her.
"I'm heading to Aviva's to study". Her parents swung their eyes to her. Her dad eyes held suspicion, while her mom's assurance to go.
"Be home soon". Came the straight reply from her dad who then narrowed his eyes to my backpack. "What's In the bag". He jerked his head at the bag. "Books. What else would be there". She chuckled softly.
"Then you won't mind If I searched It, would you ?". I gulped In scared saliva Into my throat. He stood up, came In front of me, and I handed him the bag. He dropped the first book he searched on the table, and then the next. As he was about dropping the remaining two which covered the bikinis, Daisy stood and Interrupted him. "Now dad time Is running, I have to drop Fiona off now". My dad shifted his eyes to Daisy who stood at his right.
"And why does she have a driver?". Came the straight reply from her dad. "That's because I want to drop by Xavier's, I forgot something at his place". Daisy chuckled softly. My dad handed me back my backpack, and a sense of relief flushed Into me. He has been acting on alert ever since he got back from his journey, like something was disturbing him.
"Your becoming fund of that boyfriend of yours". He tilted his head a bit furrowing his eyes to her. She gave a warm smile before pulling Fiona out of there saying. "We're off now".
They both stood outside. "Thanks Daisy". "You can thank me later, now you have to get going". She pulled me to the car and called for the driver. "James!, James". A man with dyed white hair came running towards us. "Yes Miss Daisy". "The keys to the Bentley". He ruffled his hands In his pocket before bringing out the keys to the car. Daisy collected It, she then dismissed him.
We got Into the car and Daisy speed really quickly to Aviva's house. Her Mansion wasn't far from mine, and we were In the same estate.
Reaching the golden gates of Aviva's house, Daisy horned the car horns. After some seconds, the gate opened. I guess from seeing who It was from the security cameras that were placed In front of the gates, the knew It was us.
Daisy drove In quickly, parking at a spot close to were the other flashy cars were parked. Aviva's house was luxurious than mine, I thought. Her house was a cozy Mansion, where It had long glass windows almost everywhere. The plants which had yellow flowers, adjusted the warmth, In a good way there.
As we both stepped down from the car, closing the car door, Aviva showed up with a warm smile, along with her dad, who put his hands In his pockets.
"What a surprise, you came to pick me up". Her dad who wore his suit and seemed like he was going out, narrowed his eyes at me. He wore glasses too, had a handsome face, but Intimidating look. Like those Asian billions you wouldn't mess with.
"Good day sir". The two sisters greeted the man. He smiled back at them and said,
"Fiona, I heard you and Aviva were having a study session". "Yes sir". Noticing the look on Aviva, I could tell she lied about having a study session too, to her parents.
"Okay then, don't be late". He pet Aviva's head and got Into his car. Seconds later he drove out of the house with his driver.
"Phew!, Fiona, thank goodness you showed up. Dad wanted to call your dad to ask If we were having a study session". Aviva placed her hands on her waist. On noticing Daisy, she greeted. "Halo, Miss Daisy". Although she could speak English fluently, her Korean accent did slip out some times on her speech, which made her even cuter.
Daisy smiled back at her. "Well you would still be safe, cause I made up an excuse to study with you". Aviva laughed heartily on hearing this. Daisy opened the car door and said. "Don't stay too long". She got In the car and started the engine, and then she too left them alone.
"Let's go party like crazy girl". Aviva said pumped up, shaking Fiona who managed to stand her balance.
Aviva made up an excuse to her butler about going to get something from Fiona's house, and then, they both drove to the location of the party leaving the estate.
Aviva could drive, but Fiona was yet to learn. "So Daisy helped you out". Aviva asked, slightly Increasing the speed of the car. "Yeah, I'm still shocked why she helped me out". Folding her hands on her laps.
"Big sister Instincts I guess. Wish I had one". Aviva was the only girl amongst the boys, and to add It up, she was the first child. So Imagine the pressure she had to go through. Having to deal with boys was a headache, thankfully, I had no brothers. But I had Bluebell.
After making some few turns across the streets of London. Aviva came to stop In front of a house at the coast near the beach they had sighted along the ride.
The wooden gate automatically opened and they drove In. Welcoming them, was a huge amount of vehicles that were packed, from expensive cars, to expensive bikes. The place was drooling with rich brats.
Alighting the car, Aviva pulled the bag she kept her things earlier, before Fiona showed up. Fiona pulled her bag and they headed for the entrance.
On reaching the entrance of the beautiful condo, two hefty guards In black suits stood, as If preventing the not Invited to enter. But still, the party was for everyone.
Stepping close to the guards, they passed with no worry. The house was not filled with people, only few, who chatted amongst themselves. The house had a warm, but still classy feel to It. To the green cushions, wooden table, some small statues and flower vases, It brought a welcoming aura. "Let's look for a bathroom to change". It didn't take them long to find the classy bathroom with a well polished ceramic sink, a golden tap and a wide mirror above the sink. Designed with black and white tiles, the bathroom was cool to freshen up In.
"Caesar's parents must be really cool to let him throw a party In their house". Fiona said, settling her bag on the platform where some lotions were kept.
"Well that's where your mistaken, his parent are more than strict, but Caesar owns this house. So no parents, no rules". Fiona thought It was really cool to own a house.
After they were done changing, tying the beach towel around their waist, they headed for the back of the house, where the real fun was.
On seeing the huge amount of people and the loud music being played, Fiona felt hints of wildness rush In her. The way some girls danced Intimately to the boys close to them, Irked her.
The theme of the party was Hawaiian. The tiki statues that were placed at the corner of the DJ and other ends, with the flowers that hung on some of the people's neck, just screamed tropical.
Fiona adjusted her legs In her flip-flops on the sandy beach. Living here would be a blast, she thought. Having a great view of the coast when you wake up everyday, sounded chill. The ocean breeze on your skin, was just refreshing.
"Coconut drinks, Miss". A waiter offered them refreshments. Aviva didn't wait to be asked again, she quickly took the coconut drink and sipped on It. Seeing Aviva take the drink, gave me assurance to take one too. I sipped on It, and It wasn't alcoholic. She thought so, cause It didn't taste bitter to her.
The waiter then moved to other guests. "Let's go to the bar". Aviva jerked her head to the bar stand that had been placed specially for the occasion.
Fiona followed suit, noticing the excitement In the air, with the loud music. Getting on the twirly seats, Fiona placed her coconut drink on the counter, along with Aviva, who was scanning her eyes on the variety of drinks. "What will you have miladies". The waiter smiled at us. "I'll have the tropical heaven". Aviva told the waiter, and he quickly shook the bottle of what she ordered ready to pop the wine bottle open to serve her. Fiona's eyes darted at her.
"Aviva, you know we can't drink alcohol yet". Fiona cautioned Aviva who seemed lost In the drink that was about to be served to her. The waiter poured the drink Into a glass cup for Aviva and squeezed lemon Into It, before cutting a slice and placing It at the rim of the cup, where It would stay In place.
"Aviva ". Fiona tried stopping her, but she had already taken a sip from It. "Relax Fiona, this Isn't my first drink". She took another sip from It. "Why aren't I surprised". Fiona arranged the blue hand beads she put on as accessories.
After she was done with her drink, Aviva excused herself from Fiona. "I'll be back". And before she could say a word, Aviva dashed away from there.
Now I see why her dad didn't trust her words when she said she was going to have a so-called study session with me. Keeping Aviva to sit still was like making a new born pup to sit too. She was wild and always lived everyday like It was her last.
"A glass of hibiscus wine". Came the voice of someone very familiar to Fiona's ears. She turned her face to her right to where the annoying Twilight Fall stood. He was wearing loosed shirt and shorts with white floral printings, where his buttons where left open to show the well chiseled chest of his.
He did as If he did not notice her, but Fiona decided to speak. "I thought you said the party was arrant nonsense". His eyes went sharp to hers, where he held a straight face. She folded her hands on her chest and continued speaking not hearing his reply. "Cat got your tongue ". She smirked but that only made him look like he didn't care.
A sharp sigh left his lips before he said. "You seem to find It hard to mind your business". The waiter handed him his drink and he gulped everything at a stretch. Bringing the glass down from his mouth, he licked his lips, with his eyes still on her.
"Sorry then". She faced her front. "Coconut drink, please". Another familiar voice came from her left, and she saw Fredrick. He was wearing the same clothes as Twilight, only that his had green floral designs, complementing his eyes. "Fredrick, you came? ". A confused look settled on her face. He sipped his drink that had been handed to him seconds after. "I didn't want to, but you know how life Is, It brings you places your not meant to be". His eyes then went to meet Twilight's which held anger but kept a calm face. Like Fredrick words were directly to him.
"Wanna join me and my new friends". Fredrick offered her a warm smile. "I wish I could, but I am waiting for a friend". He looked disappointed, but persisted. "C'mon, It won't be long, just a little chit -chat ". Fredrick placed a hand on hers. Noticing this, Twilight decided to comment. "As you can see...,she wasn't talking to a log". Deadpanned Twilight.
He came to stand behind Fiona were he could get a better view at the parasite who was being persistent to leave, he thought.
