Chapter 22 - Chapter 21: History repeats Itself.

After resting for a while In her room, her sisters came to check on her. She rose herself from the bed, and sat on It, lying her head on the bed frame.

The fact that Bluebell tagged along with them, was something she found hard to believe.

The door was patiently opened by Daisy, after Fiona let them In with her reply.

"How's your health, baby sis." Asked Daisy, who made her steps to sit next to Fiona, which her other sisters followed suit. But they just stood by the side of the bed, next to Daisy.

"I'm all better now. Thanks for coming to check on me. " She smiled warmly at her, her voice soft and calm. Her eyes then moved to the two siblings she didn't like much. "Why are they here." Fiona asked Daisy In a low tone, where as the other two were chattering amongst themselves. She bit her bottom lip while raising a brow. She then said,

"Is that a question? They are your sisters, and they care for your well-being. " She smiled at Fiona, who looked a bit puzzled by the Idea of Bluebell caring about her. It can't be said about Britney, but she still had her own screw lose.

"How are you doing Fifi. " Asked Bluebell with a cute smile, showing the little dimple she had on her left cheek. She stood where she and Britney had been standing, showing a facade of Innocence.

"I'm good now, Sugar rush." Fiona smiled back at her, which made Bluebell to clench her little fist, trying to resist Insulting her.

"I hope you've been resting. " Britney offered her concern with a smile too, and worried eyes. Fiona just nods to answer.

"Well since you've gotten better... " Daisy stood up from the bed she had been sitting, "....how about we leave you then, so you can have your peace. " She made her way to the door and left.

Bluebell stock her tongue out to show disrespect, before she left her room, banging the door, leaving Britney to fill the space of keeping her company.

"So Fiona.... " Makes her way to sit next to her on the bed. "....you might not have happen to see a glowing creature nearby, would you now? " She looked at her with knitted brows.

Was she asking about the little light glowing creature thingy, Twilight had. 'Cause when It came to curiosity, Britney took the first bite from the mysterious pie.

"What are you talking about. " She clenched her fingers Into the blanket that was left to lay on her laps to her legs.

"Don't be like that big sis. I know you've seen It. The glowing creature with little to no explainable reasons of It's existence. " Britney pushed her glasses up the ridge of her nose, waiting like a scientist taking experiments on his specimen.

"Did you fall from the stairs? If not, I think you have naturally lost It." Fiona twitched the side of her lips, while raising a brow, like Britney was talking nonsense.

"If you won't tell me.... I might just find out myself. " She stood from where she was sitting, heading for Fiona's study table, rummaging through the books that where left there.

Fiona looked at her with awe, before getting up In annoyance, grabbing Britney's arm. "Get out! I'm tired of your silly obsession about finding extraterrestrials, and It's making me wanna lose It." She tugged her towards the door.

"B-But Fiona, why so dramatic. You never know what lurks around. " She tried making her last statements, before Fiona swung the door open, and pushed her out. Britney caught her balance, arranging her glasses on the bridge of her nose, which nearly fell down.

"Get lost freak. Go crush on boy bands, like girls your age do. 'Cause I can't take It anymore." And with that, Fiona slammed the door on her.

"One day Fiona, I'll find out what your hiding. Just one day. " She said from behind the door, before making her way away from there.

At the other side of the door In Fiona's room, Fiona sighed In frustration. She just had enough of Britney.

This wasn't the first time she suspected me of having Involvements with creepy beings, just because I always spent my time alone In my room.

She believed I was their yet to be accomplice for a soon to be Imagined war, of some sort. She was just a weird kid. She barely or lemme say had no friends, all because she chases everyone who comes her way with her bizarre believes.

Some where, In between, I felt a bit bad for the girl. Just hope when she gets Into high school, her life won't be full of bullying.

The next day, Fiona was allowed to go to school. She felt relieved and yet discomfort, that she would have to fill In the gaps she had missed for two days out of school, all because of her weird dream, which she still had difficulty getting back to.

She made her way Into her class, which was a bit rowdy. Students were chattering and arguing over an Issue.

Fiona Ignored their noise, and made her way to her seat, which wasn't enveloped with people gossiping.

"What's the ruckus all about, Aviva. " Fiona asked Aviva, who seemed to be scrolling through her phone, and didn't seem to care about the gossiping In the class.

"About an excursion we're going for. " She spoke like she didn't care, while still scrolling on her phone.

"Excursion? About what. " Fiona looked at Aviva, who sat by her side, not minding to greet or exchange pleasantries.

"The Museum." She answered, still putting all her focus on her phone.

"Are you mad at me or.... " She dragged her words, waiting for Aviva to say something. Aviva sighed before dropping her phone on the table.

"Off course I'm angry. Why didn't you tell me Fiona, I thought we were friends." Said Aviva with sad eyes, looking at Fiona, who looked taken aback by her words.

Was she talking about not telling her all the creepy things that had been happening to her. From the cave till now, but how did she find out.

"I wanted to tell you..., but needed to keep you away from harms' way." Fiona wasn't sure If Aviva would take her pleas to heart, 'cause keeping this kind of stuff was a deal to their friendship.

"Harm? Really?! And you couldn't even save one for me. You ate them all. " Aviva turned her face away from Fiona like a child.

"I had to kee-... " Fiona stops In her words, confused that Aviva meant something else. "Wait? What do you mean ate them all. " She tilted her head to the side confused.

Aviva sighed. "I'm talking about the Shepherds' pie, silly. " She uses a hand to cover her face, demonstrating that Fiona was dumb.

"Ohh.... So that's what you were talking about. " She smiled and sighed In relief.

"What did you think I was talking about, then." Aviva asked with knitted brows.

"Nothing really. So....why you so mad about the pie, and how did you know I had the pie. " Settles her palms on the table.

"When I came to your house yesterday, I took a detour to your kitchen." Aviva twitched her lips to the side, same way with her eyes. "And I asked your Chef If he had any Shepherds' pie left, and he said you ate the last slice. " Her eyes moved back to Fiona's, In a silly rage.

"Oh Aviva, I'm sorry then. I'll make sure to get you some." Fiona smiled at her, who looked like a joyous puppy.

"Promise. " Aviva said with her mood lit up from the bored sad one she had earlier, to an ecstatic one.

"Promise. " Fiona assured her. "So why Is everyone so upset about the excursion." Aviva brought out a lollipop, tearing the wrap around It before putting It In her mouth.

"We were meant to go to the Sparkling water falls, but It was postponed and shifted for another day. So for the replacement, we had to go check out boring old artifacts." Aviva rolled her eyes In annoyance. Her speech was a bit gibberish, due to the lollipop In her mouth.

"I see.... But the Museum doesn't seem that bad. " Fiona turned to face Aviva.

"Not that bad?!" She then removed the lollipop In her mouth. "We traded a fun day at the springs, a chance to show off my hot body, for some old mummy guy, who probably died of dysentery." She raised a brow, Indicating her annoyance.

Fiona giggled softly. "Let's just hope It will be fun."

"Hope! " Aviva faced her front. Fiona sat back properly, still In thought.

What If she could get some Information about her families lineage at the Museum. Her family name was an old one, probably dating back to the seventeen hundred. The chance to go to the Museum would probably unveil history for her.

As the students waited for their guide to the Museum, Sir Lewis entered the class, holding a tablet. He swipes on the screen, before saying,

"So I'm gonna take a roll call of you students, and check If anyone's missing." He arranges his long hair that came out of place In his neatly packed ponytail, proper.

"Sir Lewis... " Aviva said In a romantic way to Fiona, In a low tone. Where as Fiona rolls her eyes.

"If I call your name, you get Into the bus. So let's go then. " Sir Lewis Informed them, as everyone began walking out of the class, heading for the parking lot, where the bus was parked.

On reaching the parking lot, a blue bus with dark pink stripes on the side of the bus, was parked.

"Now... " He scrolled on the screen. "....April, Silver, Joseph..... " Sir Lewis called the names, as they ones being called, climbed the stairs of the bus, before getting In.

".....Melal, Stella, Ramila, Camila, Eden ." He called on more students, before reaching the last ones. " And..... Fiona, Twilight and Aviva." When he was done, and all the students were on the bus, he got on.

"Now students. " He stopped the little chattering that was going on. "I want all of you to be aware that our class was privileged to go to the Museum. So...., I don't want anyone." He stressed the 'anyone', while looking at Joseph.

"I mean anyone..., touching anything while we're there. Is that clear. " His strict voice asked, as the students echoed a 'yes sir' like they were bored of the trip they were about to embark on. "We are ready now. " He Informed the driver after taking his seat In front.

And with that, the bus engines were jolted to start, and It began moving, passing through the gate of the school that was left open.

The bus moved freely on the road where as sometimes It stumbled on speed bumps.

"Fiona, this excursion Is gonna be nice, as long as Sir Lewis Is here." Aviva whispered to Fiona, who sat In the middle of Twilight and Aviva.

Where as Twilight sat near the window, not bothering to look at the two who sat next to him.

"Only for you. "She whispered back to her, giving a side glance at the menace who sat next to her. He looked calmer today, not bothering to wiggle his tongue with Insults, and that made me glad my brain won't suffer humiliation for a while.

"Well while you stay with your Insecurities, I'll help my self to talking to Sir Lewis. " And with that, Aviva stood up to go sit next to Sir Lewis, who sat alone on the spacious seat.

Fiona cursed Inside her mind. Why did the universe always brings her together with this tongue lasher.

Twilight still paid all his attention to the view he got to see by the window, not minding the formidable fear that Fiona was passing through, just by sitting next to him.

Remembering everything he has to face back at Phosaither, made him wonder. The beast that were leeching out, would soon Invade this weak world. And little did they humans know what havoc would be rained on them.

His thoughts took him back to when he was about coming to the world of the humans...

"But Queen Mother, I can't give to that wretched world. The people reminds me of my weak birth rights. " Twilight spoke to a woman who was dressed In armour.

Her gaze piercing with a sharp hint of power. "So Is that a no, Prince Twilight. You are half of them, so you are debted to them." Her eyes darting straight Into his. She then went to sit on a stump, with splashes of black blood on It.

Where they stood was scattered with massacred dead bodies of beasts and monster, on a field.

Twilight sheathes his sword. "No your highness. I am not debted to those greedy beings to offer any help to them. Yes I am half of them, but I would never be one of them. That's my point. " His face held tranquil towards the woman.

She got up from the stump, to now stand two steps away from his towering self, that was a bit taller than her.

"No Prince Twilight, your point Is you want our kind to die. All because of your stupid pride. " She raised a brow, before making a step towards him.

"I don't care If you wish to go or not. But our Kingdom depends on those rings. And If their so called prince can't even sacrifice an apple to save his people, 'cause he would rather destroy a tree to save his greedy pride from dying, I don't know what kind of example he gives out. " She came to stand next to him, who still didn't utter a word to her.

"Do you want the faith of your people to end up like your dear mother...., If not Prince Twilight, then save Phosaither. " And with that, she swayed away from there, with the breeze carrying the scent of death In the air, swaying her black hair to It's symphony.

Twilight twisted his hand Into fist.

Coming back to the present, where the bus was stumbling over speed bumps, there and then. As the bus goes over another speed bump, Fiona ended up hitting Twilight by his arm. He still stood firm, where as Fiona felt embarrassed. She did not know what to do, so she just stayed still, lying her head on his arm.

Seems like I had to make a deal with the universe, cause something like this wasn't normal. Why was It only me, here comes the Insults.

But Instead of Insulting her, Twilight just looks at her with an amused face. Fiona bent her eyes, not meeting his gaze that where now on her.

"Are you comfortable, or should I get you a blanket, Miss Marvin." His voice deep In her ear. She was about moving away, not saying anything, when he said, "If you move I will stab you. "Fiona's eyes widened. His empty threats again.

What was his deal with death all the time, was he the devil.

Fiona shifts a little, when he said, "You think I'm joking. " She then felt something poke her back.

A knife?!, was he really gonna kill her, she thought. Where as Twilight was poking her with his pen. "So you fear death, silly girl. " He redrew the so-called knife away, and brought his hand to push her a bit away from him, like she was Invading his personal space.

Fiona sat properly, before she looked at his eyes, which held seriousness.

"Your really Insane. Did you really wanna stab me. " Her voice like a whisper, before he smiled, which didn't reach his eyes.

His smile was freaky, like he was mocking her.

"I must admit I am not sane at the moment, but you are even lacking sanity than me, for someone who takes a pen as a knife." He dropped the fake smile and raised a brow.

Fiona glared at him. "You were just messing with me." He raised the pen he used, showing her that she was fooled.

"Says the person who fakes sleep. Whose the jester here, you or me. " Fiona turned her gaze away from him, before saying,

"Just avoid me. Talking to you at times, removes the remaining sanity I have left. " He didn't reply, he just went back to looking at the window view.

After a while, they finally reached the Museum, a huge building that looked well kept, with posters of some exhibitions to be held. Some people around the entrance, while security guards where patrolling.

As everyone got down, Sir Lewis lead them Into the Museum, which had a wide and a little bit long staircase.

As they got In, their eyes where greeted with the various dinosaur exhibitions. From the T-rex bones that were arranged In the middle of the Museum, while some other dinosaur bones were displayed.

"Welcome students of Royal high academy. What a pleasure having you here at Nostalgia Museum. " Said a man In a black suit, coming towards us with a smile.

"Greetings." Sir Lewis greeted.

"The pleasure Is mine." He offered his greetings. "I'll be the tour guide today students. And my name Is Mr. Henry." The man referred to them with a smile. "Follow me. " He lead them to where the exhibit they would be showcased on, was.

On reaching a side of the Museum specially for their specific exhibition for their excursion, the man stopped to explain their purpose for stopping here.

"Now students, this Is our country's history. From It's great rulers, to where we are now. " The exhibit was showcased with pictures of both men and women In either armour or ancient clothing. Some artifacts were kept In glass stands, with little Information about It on a small post.

"We are going to venture on about how our country was ruled by great men and women. " He moved to a man's picture, who looked like he was angry at the artist who painted him. His eyes dark as rain clouds, and his hair brown.

He looked really powerful. "This Is Sir Clifford Heren. One of the dukes of our city, which was then called Snowyfields. 'Cause of the cold here. " Most of the students took notes, while others looked like they didn't care. "He was a strict and selfless duke, who helped In the Improvement of our city. He later became a chancellor to the king."

Mr. Henry moved on to the next pioneer. "And this Is Sir Wilton Stark. Some remembered him as a cruel tyrant, who hooked the people of their money. Which he called 'daily taxes'." The man had a long moustache, and fetish small eyes with a bald head. "Even though he was a tyrant, he contributed to the construction of the Heavens' bridge, which till today still stands."

He talked on about more people, until they stumbled upon a heart shaped rock that was split In half. It wasn't that big, but It looked very old. It was barricaded by a red rope.

"And this Is the latest discovery of our Museum. We call It 'The heart rock'. I bet you all are aware about the glowing cave, one of our cities land marks." He moved a bit closer to It. "It Is said that something use to be In here, but nobody knows what mystery Is behind the rock. Let's move on then. " And they moved on to the next exhibit.

Fiona was left to wonder, wasn't It the rock she saw In the cave, so they found It. Things were getting freaky for her.

"Now this was one of the kings of the country, which was then called 'Gifted'." Mr. Henry referred to a painting of a man In shining clothing. His hair brown and thick, from looking from the painting, his eyes hazel and dark. His face well defined with a grin on his face.

"Yes, you sir. " Mr. Henry replied to a student who rose his hand.

"Sorry to Intrude In your explanation but, when do we get to see an exhibit on the dinosaurs. "

"Sorry Sir.... " Waits to here his name.

"Eden. " He replied

"....but the exhibition for today for your school Is on our country's history, and we can't tamper with the schedule. If there are no further questions..., may I proceed. " With no reply, he continued speaking. "Now...as I was saying about this great sir here, one of the rulers of our country. King Marvin the first. "

After hearing the name being said, I wondered If this was my great, great, or just know my long line of relative, and he was the king grandma told us story of as kids. But what were the odds of him being my relative.

"King Marvin wasn't just a great ruler, but a great husband and father to his family. Although he had only one sibling and no parents, he still had a soft spot for his only sibling." He continued. "His wife... " He moved to the next painting. "....Queen Rose Marvin, or some called her Dela Rosa. She was an exception In beauty."

Fiona looked at the woman In awe. She really was beautiful. Her brown eyes was beautiful. A rose was placed at the side of her hair, which was packed In a side bun. She held a smile on her face, gracious and full of life, like she was happy about something.

"History has little Information about her, but she was remembered for her beauty." He stepped to the next painting of a young man, who had the same resemblance with King Marvin.

"And here we have, Prince Sun Marvin. He was a great ruler after his father's death, but later fell from grace with his sister, Princess Star Marvin. " He moved on to the next painting of a young woman who looked like Queen Rose.

"Lady Star was another beauty to be remembered. Her striking appearance and charm, dragged noble men from around great lands, towards her. But she refused must of them or Ignored the others. She later got married to a man, history did not take record of, a mystery to all." He talked about some more people before the took a break.

Everyone headed for the Museum canteen to freshen up. They all had a snack, before they would leave.

"I'm dying with boredom. ". Aviva whined, while munching on some chips.

"Well for me...., the tour has been gracious." Fiona said, after sipping from the straw of her drink.

"Yuck! Stop being so optimistic all of a sudden. The tour Is trash and that's It. " She added. Fiona got up from her seat.

"I'm gonna take a bathroom break. " She excused herself, before making her way towards the bathroom.

"Don't take long washing your hands. " Aviva added, while Fiona had made a few steps away from their table.

When Fiona was done easing herself, she made her way back to the canteen, which she had to pass through an Egyptian exhibit.

On passing through the show room for the exhibit, where no one was Inside the exhibit, she heard a growling sound from behind her.

On turning, she saw a guy with pale dried skin. He looked like a mummy without a bandage wrap around him.

His eyes were bloodshot red, and he looked at Fiona with thirst In his eyes. Fiona jolted her legs to run, but the pale guy was fast to push her against a wall.

"Are you mad. Let go of me you freak. " Fiona struggled to move, but the mummy guy held her neck, In attempt to drain the life In her.

"Give me the heart necklace." His voice hoarse, as he clenched on her neck, with her slowly slipping Into unconsciousness.

"W-What. " Her speech vague, with the mysterious being, clenching his wrist around her neck, further. What was he talking about, 'Heart necklace?'.

"Give me the heart necklace!" He deepened his tone, making him sound like he was possessed. Like two people were talking at the same time.

Fiona was tired trying to come to sense with this person, 'cause clearly he wasn't normal. She tried getting free by grabbing his hands that were clenched around her neck, trying to wiggle herself free.

"Give me the necklace!" He tightened his grip around her neck, and then his neck was sliced, leaving his head to land on the floor.

Fiona looked dread, until when the mummy guy drop dead on the floor, headless, when she then saw Twilight holding a sword. It had black blood on It.

"T-Twilight." Fiona called him, still frozen with shock, with him looking at her like he was fed up In saving her.
