"AHHHHHHHHHH!"
"What is it!" a dragon guard turned to us.
I was hugging Gura and Gura was blushing deep red.
"How! This is sexual assault on a dragon! You must die!" he said while he grabbed his sword and ignited it with flames.
"Wait no! He is a friend!" Gura finally spoke, shocking the dragon guard.
"What! But you were screaming!" the guard was in great denial.
"T-That...." this made Gura blush even more, but I wasn't a dull headed person.
"I'm sorry for this huge misunderstanding, I have joined this lovely girls teleportation spell to the dragon layer to find knowledge on how to return back home and find my family." I said with a smile.
"Oh... ok, since this is a dragon citizen and she accepts you as an ally, then I will let you in. But to just warn you, there are plenty more people who can kill you if you are mischievous, so don't do anything you will regret later." he said while signaling the other guard to let me and Gura inside the Dragon Layer.
Pristine.
That was the word that popped into my head as I gawked at the dragon city. What I saw before me were buildings that seemed to be built out of a crystal-like material. These shining buildings were so flawless and smooth that each seemed to be carved from a single, huge stone.
Making this place look even more awe-inspiring were the huge trees that intertwined with the buildings, filling this whole city with a more distinctive and organic ambience. Looking up, I see homes built on unnaturally thick branches extending out of the massive trunks even larger than the buildings with smoke drifting out of their chimneys.
The entire ground inside this city was covered in a lush field of soft moss, with only the narrow sidewalks and the main road paved with smooth stone. The dense array of branches that fanned out from the trees covered most of the city in a canopy of shade, but there was a warm, luminescent glow throughout the city thanks to numerous floating orbs of light situated in every corner and street.
"Now that that's done, let's go find your family, or can you go by yourself?" I ask, this was a big city after all, so I don't think a minor can navigate it all by herself.
"Y-Yeah, I'm gonna need help." she said with a shy expression.
"Sure, lets go!" I said with a cheerful expression, to be honest, helping people really made me happy, I didn't know if it was just me, but it was one of the things that kept me going in life.
After hours of walking, me and Gura were standing infront of a house.
"I think this is my house Aka." she said with a sigh of relief.
"Thats amazing, I think this is when we part ways." I said, letting go of her hand.
"No wait!" she yelled.
"Woah! What is it?" I asked, sometimes girls can be unreasonable. This brought back so many memories of then the hot girls asked me out and even bribed me with money, it was funny if anything. I accepted some of them, but I soon realized that this only distracted me from my goal. Now my goal is to find the one that distracted me, ironic isn't it. Anyway...
"C-Come with me, I want you to meet my parents." she said shyly.
"Is that all?" I had time, but I would like to finish this as fast as possible, a meeting wouldn't take long.
"Thank you." she said with a bright smile.
DING DONG
Gura pressed the doorbell and knocked on the door, soon, an elderly couple opened the door, Gura was stunned.
"W-Where are my parents." she asked the dragon couple.
"Wait what?" I asked, how could her parents not be at her house.
"Umm, I think you have the wrong house." the couple said awkwardly, while closing the door.
"W-Why..." Gura's eyes grew dull.
"Where are your parents." I asked.
"I-I don't know, this is there house, but they are completely different people." she said crying.
"What!" how could this happen.
"Don't worry, we can search more." she said with a dull smile.
"No we can't." I said holding her hand tightly. This city was roughly the size of America, giant, there was no way in hell to find her parents in this giant of a place.
"F-Fuck!" she cussed, it was her first time, but it was understandable.
"To find your parents, you need to grow stronger." what I said wa simple, but the truth, it was exactly what I was doing.
"How do I get stronger?" she asked, then I remembered something that was stuck in my inventory and would help a lot.
"I can help you, but you will have to follow me and leave this place for a long time, is that ok?" I asked.
"Ok, I will follow you, just tell me how to get stronger!" she said with determination.
I then grabbed the seven orbs out of my inventory, each glowing a different color, wrath red, lust pink, pride purple, sloth blue, greed yellow, envy green, and gluttony orange.
"Take one and you will gain the power that you need to become stronger." I said.
[To activate the orb, the person accepting the orb must eat it]
Gura grabbed the orange orb and felt the power flowing out of it, she knew this was the power she needed to find her parents.
"I want this one." she said with glowing orange eyes, the slits in her eyes grew as sharp as a blade, ready to slice anyone who gets in her way.
"Eat it." I said.
"Dur?!" she said, glancing between the orb and me.
"Just do it, you want to find your parents right?" I asked.
"Not exactly how I thought it would go, but ok." she said as she gobbled the orb.
Suddenly, lins started to grow from her mouth and spread like cracks. Her eyes and mouth glowed a bright orange and a giant pillar of light shot into the sky.
