Meanwhile in the Apostle's Domain... "My Lord are you okay?" Said one of the Hectic Priests. "I'm fine just let me have my time to think on what happened today." Said Heretic. As the Priests bowed and left him in his room... "It was him! It really was him! He's gonna come for my head! No, no calm down you know you're an Apostle you're stronger than him. But then again, HE WAS BORN TO DESTROY APOSTLES!?!" As Heretic throws a tantrum upon his desk flinging his papers while giving him time to think.
"To think he came back again is unusual... But none the less if I'm able to take him down before anyone else. And if the rumors is true I will become God soon!" Said Heretic as he plans to take down Alex. "It seems that man has changed a bit. That Axe became a bit more... Darker than usual. What could it be? Was that a signal that his reign as the equalizer be damned? Or is it the new successor of his being a bit different. My army isn't yet ready but soon enough it will be powerful to counter-act their powers."
As Heretic finishes his words a Priest knocked his on his door and said "My Lord you may need to see this." Said the Priest "Is it ready?" Said Heretic. "Not yet my Lord but we may need you for this one to activate it." Said the Priest. "Ah yes, show it to me." Said Heretic as they leave his room towards the basement facility of the chapel.
They arrived with all of the Hectic Priests working on something ominous, a weapon squad that runs on the blood of title holders. "Yes, this is brilliant! Amazing job everyone! The armored Heretic Knights have come back to life!" As Heretic shouts in happiness.
"My Lord we are expecting to power up these units within 7 days. That would be enough for our army to fully recover." Said the Head Priest. "Good, good 7 days would suffice because I have someone in mind to complete my own mission." Said Heretic.
"To finally strike down the great hunter?" Said the Head Priest. "Exactly we will be ready for his attacks, but be warned my people he is no ordinary hunter. He is a hunter from the great myths and legends the one who can strike down Apostles. But once I get his blood we will succeed in reaching our goals finally!" Said Heretic as the Priests praises and cheers from their Apostles words that echoed the underground facility through out their base...
Meanwhile back in Ground Zero... "Alex you're learning quickly now. You're aiming better than yesterday." Said Pat. "I guess so, it felt like I was super familiar to the guns and it felt natural to do these things." Said Alex as he finishes his rounds.
"I see so the memories are finally coming back to you. Well not exactly memories more like instincts of shooting that rifle and revolver. You've even learned how to switch between the two but remember this weapons have a time and place so don't over rely on those guns you still have your trusty Axe." Said Pat. "Yeah, thanks for that heads-up my Axe is still the weapon of my title. If I'm able to finally learn what that title is." Said Alex.
"Oh you'll learn it soon if you finally get used to the carnage you'll be facing in the future. For now combat training should be what you're focusing right now. The other have been training as well so they don't get left out." Said Pat. "I see thanks. I'll do my part here." Said Alex. The training continues for more than an hour and the others are also learning how to use a gun when the time comes that they need to use one despite being a forgotten art of combat.
3 Hours later... "Come on aim higher Jacob." Said Alex. "You know I'm aiming as much as I can right?" Said Jacob as he struggles to control the recoil. "This is fun!" Said Elise as she briskly finishes her aim practice. "Don't worry Jacob you'll get the hang of it." Said Night as she was doing rounds in the 150 meter range.
"You're doing 150 meters there Night don't compare yourself to my sorry ass." Said Jacob. "Don't worry Mr. Jacob she is right you'll soon get the hang of it." Said Pat as they do their training while observing their improvement Pat is preparing his side of the attack for the soon clash of this domain to stop the Apostle once and for all.
After a break from the training... They started to talk about their ideas on how to take down the Apostle. "Sooner or later the Apostle might be planning something for us too. We need a plan ASAP." Said Jacob. "I mean what can we do we don't know how Heretic attacks or how he manages himself in battle." Said Night.
"Do we really have a chance against him?" Said Elise. "Yes, and I think we can back it up. I've known Heretic for a while now and he is most likely a very capable fighter albeit very unorthodox. From the stories and the written books here he was once a very powerful fighter that never backs down and is very scary to fight with. After 200 years ago that changed and made him into this current state of his and the usual hunting of title holders as sacrifice to reach his desired Godhood." Said Pat.
"So what do you think we should do to attack him?" Said Alex. "Oh, don't worry I have that under control right now you guys have to rest for the rest of the week you need to have as much energy as possible exercising is okay but rest as much as you can there will be a war we'll be wagering on after this week." Said Pat as they nod in agreement and headed their own rooms to relax and rest for the rest of the week.
