12 hours before the night raid on the enemy side... "Sir what should we do for our first attack." Said one of the foot sergeants. "Bring the heli's and drop as many soldiers to them as much as possible they can't win against our numbers. But do heed my warnings that they'll be prepared." Said the Head Priest. As they're based outside of the forest just northeast of the battlefield with complete gear and weapons enough to supply them.
After the first wave though they were forced to retreat due to their enemy's skill in taking them down using AA Guns and the usual use of their abilities from their titles along with Ancient weaponry makes them very powerful despite being outnumbered. At the war room of the enemy base, they're complaining about why they failed to attack that small resistance. They lost more than 5000 soldiers in the first wave of their attacks.
From the constant rambling to find a solution to win the next wave they planned out a night raid where the resistance least expect... That didn't last long and another retreat had to be called out this time they lost more than 5-digits of foot soldiers. The Head Priest is pissed at the two failed results.
"Why can't you dimwits give our Lord a better result than LOSING MORE THAN BEFORE!" As the Head Priest was disappointed in the results and the other annoyed and are mad that they haven't successfully made the enemy fear them. "No worries, the Apostle has something planned for them. Call the armored Crusaders to show them what we're capable of if you mess with the principles of our Apostle." Said the Head Priest.
"How many should we deploy then Head Priest?" Said one of the Generals. "Send one only for now let's show them what true power we can. This humiliation in the first two attacks will not be tolerated. If you fail doing this mission the Apostle will do his own bidding and handle this himself and you know how different he is when plans never goes his way right?" Said the Head Priest. As everyone take their positions in the base to prepare the first Crusader to be deployed. As two helicopters carry the 20ft tall armored Crusader named 'Born to Crusade'
"Armored Crusader 1st Unit moving out!" Said the pilot of the Armored unit. As the roar of the helicopters carry more soldiers and the armored crusader to their next attack as the shine of the sunrise peak between the mountains. The reflection of the sun shines the armor of the up and coming threat that the resistance has to face the next level of enemies that was thought to be a by-gone era of weapons. Meanwhile in the underground base of the Resistance...
"Wait everyone be quiet." Said Pat as the crowd quiets down then suddenly the earth trembled the soldiers got surprised from the sudden movement of the earth. "Is it a Earthquake sir?" Said one of the soldiers. "No, private. They finally figured it out how to run the super weapon. EVERYONE GET TO STATIONS!" As Pat shouts everyone to command to their stations and as they got to outside they saw a behemoth in metal and they can feel it being made for destruction and.
Meanwhile Alex and his team... "Guys, you seeing this?" Said Elise. "Dear Heavens I have never seen such menacing aura for a weapon." Said Night. "I'd suggest we take it down like right now." Said Alex. "But how exactly Alex?" Said Jacob. "Well We have to figure that one out ourselves for now let's attack the giant." Said Alex as he pulls off Vanquish from the holster. As everyone starts a shoot down and with the giant finally moving and shooting the grounded troops and the mounted artillery starts to fire towards the Crusader.
The waves of soldiers followed suit as the Crusader steps into battle, "Get all traitors of the Apostle!" As a voice can be heard from the Crusader's echoing voice. Meanwhile in the base... "Everyone that's not in the company of Alex and the others focus on the foot soldiers if they ask for support follow Alex's orders we need to keep the ground at bay let them handle the giant!" Said Pat from the Radio.
The sound of magic, bullets, and flesh hitting weapons the battle has turned into the worst. From the successful defense of the early attacks they were caught off-guard but their resilience they kept their ground hard and fought back the offensive of the enemy once again to keep the ground busy while the others try to take down the Crusader.
"I heard you were the one that once threated the Apostle's life. I wouldn't let you get pass me! You traitors will not be saved by his holiness!" Said the pilot of the giant.
"Like hell I would want too! Your apostle is insane!" Said Alex as they try to shoot the enemy but for some reason its not working. Their bullets weren't penetrating, "What happened? Your weapons suddenly not scratching my armor? This was blessed by the Apostle so it won't be affective against you traitors of the Apostle"
As the Pilot smugly prove that they're ineffective against the armor. "Well Alex... What now?" Said Jacob. "I don't know..." As Alex gets tired from repeatedly trying to shoot the armor... He is lost for with nothing to think off on how to take down the enemy.
