The sun had risen and the corpses started to smell a little, Hein had enjoyed his meal at last and was now planning to move ahead.
The people thanked Van and Hein which made them wonder what was the reason they had come so far and why had they experienced so many things, good and bad equally. The reason was unsure but what they were doing didn't stop.
As the day passed Van and Hein were on a cliff as they moved ahead of SolĀ° the geographical changes turned more obvious and rapid comparatively till now which were subtle. The number of vegetation increased and more of wild creatures were visible, as they moved ahead they were approached by a group of locals at evening the sky was with a purple Haze the locals were masked but peaceful. As they confronted each other a nod as a gesture of welcome was shown by both parties, the locals had sticks with engravings possibly used for magic casting and infusion spells, as the night rose Hein and Van realised something, the people were in a special attire for a ritual which could be done near the pond which was present in between to giant trees, the locals didn't mind them waiting there and watching the ritual.
Van was a little hesitant, as he gestured Hein silently to move from there but Hein was attracted towards the glow and curiosity whish was created by which.
The locals didn't spoke much and three of them moved ahead, they raised there wands and started chanting in old old grail language which was left by many.
Van was alerted and was not feeling fine by what was happening.
Van had a few tattoos on his hand which was seen by Hein but never thought about, but apparently they were engravings of curse which he recieved from the past and was somehow broken ( thought so till now ) got activated and expanded all throughout his body slowly engulfing him in dark veil.
While this happened Hein stood at the same place did nothing, and waited till something wrong could pop up. After the ritual hit it's climax a blast had occured and and mana veins rose from the ground and spread the soil and vegetation nearby with fertility and growth aura, the veins also grasped Van hard and absorbed the veil slowly, the locals were watching as well. Suddenly the ground broke beneath, not opening a tunnel or passage this time but exposing a few purple mineralised fragments of rocks which rubbed each other creating fields of veil.
Van was pushed out of it slowly and now remained the rocks and floating uncontrolled veins. Hein stepped in and blocked the veins using chaos aura and a few vines from the Forrest. The locals helped calm down the veins and Van was unhurt and unconscious.
The pond was glowing more now, seemed like it had absorbed the curse and used it to store more energy, Van was still unconscious but a lot had changed.
Van wasn't looking as he was looking a few days ago, he had physically no markings on his body and his face was aged a little.
Hein threw a potion of bipol cascades on Van which shocked Van a little but woke him up.
Van rose and moved his hands. He said calmly " I fell a lot lighter now that I notice and a little free". Hein was wasn't sure what had happened as he knew very little of Van's past with curses. Van also seen to never tell anyone about it. Though Hein felt great Van was okay as he commented "Yea your right, You have no markings on your body as well".
The locals knew what was up with Van, but didn't bothered to tell and kept quiet as went on ahead with their after ritual ceremony, here Van and Hein took a leave. They thought that was a reason they met these people and these all things to occur.
Next morning, Van was on a killing spree......finding dark wolves and destroying their homes. Hein didn't knew what to do, he moved ahead with a sigh and jumped right around Van's back grasped his collar and exclaimed "ENOUGH OF YOUR KILLING !!! WE NEED TO MOVE NOW ".
Van replied" I feel lighter-it it's now easier to move and dodge, let me kill a few their fur is valuable " to which Hein commented " IF YOU KILL MORE OF THEM THEY'LL GO EXTINCT SO LETS LEAVE "
With which Van was captured and dragged along as they moved towards south.
