At noon, Van and Hein reached towards the swamps, the sun was gazing with intense heat and humidity. Van was ahead, so far ahead that Hein couldn't spot him from where he was, Hein reached near a tree for quick break, it was humid and his species backlashed him.
As known by few, Hein was a pseudo shade and that they are weak against heat.
Hein was scuffed by everything, as they moved ahead they the terrain was impossible to travel via land so they decided to travel via air. They didn't travelled via air for so long as they thought the cult which attacked them could possibly track them.
They forged a joint magic seal, form Van's past which created an alliance which did not emit any magic, but due to joint co-ordination flying was a bit tough as they controlled while creating a joint seal which they had to be in touch with but also had to control all the flight mechanics.
Slowly and gently, they moved up, a little uncontrolled but soon enough they managed the movements. Van stepped up while cautiously keeping his touch with the seal and said " I'll handle the heights and tilt, you should be able to handle the direction and speeds ". As if this Hein replied " Okay, I'll handle the rest but don't fly any higher or we might get tracked ", futher with a sigh of tiredness Hein spoke " Carefull don't let the convulsion seal go off ".
They had also forged a convulsion seal which prevented mana rays created by using flight magic to be emitted. As the seal worked, they were raised a few feets above the ground and moved ahead. As they moved, the seal rather than flight magic looked like speed magic on steroids but with two people cooperatively working to move in a direction.
As they rushed through the swaps dodging trees, stumps and rocks they didn't lift any higher in the air and maintained their height. They were moving with extreme speeds and carried this for a long time.
Far away, a green light blasted the sky and sooner followed up by dense clouds. Something larger appeared in the sky, a large entity with no definite shape, it was floating high above the ground, suddenly internal movements were seen and soon after followed up by vigorous thrusts into the air, it was glitchy and was partially condensing into a mass of which seemed like dark condensed humus. 69 minutes after the event started the condensed mass bashed onto the ground below and started engulfing all living matter present nearby, it was formed in the Forrest middle of nowhere, which also gave it a large amounts of food as it seemed to absorb it. After viciously hunting, killing, spreading along the Forrest and it's dense vegetation thoroughly a point came it's motion came to an still, the silence remained for hours and there was no visible movement the plants near it was withered and was burning with crimson curse flames which indicated it was a dark summon from the depths. The moon was about to rise, the time has come the thing showed movement and started shrinking and shrinking untile it congested into baby dragon sized mass, which heated and moved in various patterns for another half an hour. The place which was engulfed was devasted, it looked like it was a huge land fire which broke from some where and ended up extinguishing itself. The mass was now congested so much that it started vibrating and emitting high amounts of mana rays after which a bang occurred and in no time the mass was morphed into a rigid body with sharp spines and six pair of limbs the frontal two limbs were hardened sharp blade like limbs and rest four hind limbs were well muscled and developed to move at high speeds. The creature was silent and was the size near to a human.
Rather than using his well developed feet for walking the creature preferred rift walking as an alternative which is seen by manier creatures from the withered sides of the world. The rift walking ability was seen and the creature as soon as it was created had vanished from its place and was seen a few miles ahead with high amounts of many rays and withered plantation nearby which confirmed his ability. The Dark cult was seen after which, two men with hoods and long coats were seen travelling towards the creature. After a few seconds, more members seemed to appear out of thin air, as they too rushed towards the creature. Many of them were masked and few of them equipped with staffs and mana rings.
An explosive sound was heard, something was up the trees and rushing towards the creature as well but from a different side, the cult seemed to notice it but didn't show any variation into their strategy. The creature had vanished again but now with burnt up bodies of few left behind. Again an explosion was heard by the cult and trident with blue flames came rushing towards them with breaking their formation and scattering them into the jungle.
