After the talk with Adrían's mother, Monet and Adrían decided to join everybody outside in the backyard together. The nervousness that the brown skinned girl felt had come back quickly. Meeting his mother who seemed scary at first was nerve wracking all on its own, but the rest of his family was a different beast altogether. She may have gotten the approval of his mother already, but she didn't know how the rest of his family might feel. She hoped that they would all like her and not end up like the extended families she read about on Reddit.
And why the hell did she even read about those families in the first place? Those posts only freaked her out and made her more nervous about meeting them. She hoped that they would like her.
As soon as the two stepped into the backyard, they were instantly crowded by Adrian's many relatives. Monet's eyes widened as they all began talking quickly and excitedly to her. This caught her off guard completely because she wasn't expecting this at all.
However, Adrian was and he was getting irritated at the fact that they weren't giving them room to breathe at all.
"ALRIGHT!! BACK UP!" Adrian shouted. As soon as he finished speaking, a group of older woman pulled him away from Monet and began to berate him in Spanish. There were a couple of words that Monet could pick out while they were giving him a verbal beating, which were "you idiot", "your mother", and "wedding".
"While our mothers and aunts give him a beating he won't forget, let's go talk for a moment," A really gorgeous cousin of Adrían's said, taking Monet's hand.
"Will he be alright?" Monet questioned.
"Of course. He was the type to get whooped and then walk it off like it was nothing," She assured her.
"Is he the devil?" Monet asked aloud, even though she could have sworn she said that in her head. The cousin laughed.
"No, but he was a menace as a child. He was the type of child you'd expect to wreak havoc all day, everyday," She giggled. The two women sat down at a table where most of the young adult women were sitting. As soon as Monet's butt was planted in the chair, she was crowded once again.
"God. You bitches are just like your mothers," The cousin, who had brought her over here, said.
"I get it front my mama," Another cousin responded.
"Shut up, Camilla!" Everyone at the table collectively said. The woman giggled from her seat while everyone else shook their heads.
"Anyways. That's Camilla as you heard. I'm Bri, that's Roxanne, Selma, Maddie, and Kim," The cousin informed. Monet was glad to finally put a name to the face of Adrían's cousin that had practically dragged her over here. She was also glad to know the names of the other women at the table as well.
"Nice to meet you all," Monet smiled softly.
"God. You're so gorgeous," Kim gushed.
"Extremely gorgeous," Selma agreed. The other woman nodded in agreement with this statement. Monet felt herself blush, which was just her face heating up.
"Thank you," Monet murmured. The women all chuckled and continued to gush about gorgeous she is as well as asking her what products she used to get her skin to glow. Monet has never experienced this type of thing with her own extended family, especially her female cousins that made it a point to talk shit about her appearance every single time she was around them.
"Monet, what is your go-to brand for foundation? I want to try something other than Maybelline," Kim said.
"Hmm...well my go-to is mainly Fenty Beauty, but sometimes I'll switch it up to either Maybelline's Fit Me or Too Faced," Monet informed.
"Ooh. I've heard good things about Too Faced," Kim said.
"Yeah from me, but you usually ignore anything I say," Maddie spoke up.
"Huh? What was that, Maddie?" Kim questioned. Discreetly, Maddie flipped her the bird while Kim just laughed.
"Anyways, how did you and Adrían even meet?" Selma asked. The table went silent as everyone waited for Monet to answer the question. Monet, on the other hand, was silent because she didn't know how to explain it to his cousins that waking up in bed next to him after getting married was their official meeting.
"Umm...you see...th-that's kind of a long story," Monet mumbled looking away.
"We've got all the time in the world to hear it," Roxanne responded.
"Yes. Please tell us how you and my cousin met."
As soon as everyone heard that, their attention was on the woman standing behind Roxanne. The mood in the group seemed to have darkened when they immediately recognized who it was.
"Uh-oh," Kim mumbled.
"Here she comes," Bri muttered.
"Hello, everyone," The woman greeted.
"Hi, Rosa," They all greeted in unison.
"I brought Allegra with me," She informed. A Dominican girl came from behind her. She looked over at Monet and glared at her hard, which confused the brown skinned woman completely.
This time nobody greeted the other woman, which let Monet know that they didn't like her or Rosa. She could already sense some bad blood between the seven women.
"Weren't you going to tell us about how you and her ex-boyfriend met?" Rosa asked sitting down next to Kim. The other woman sat down next to her and continued to glare at Monet.
"Well, Rosa, she was going to tell us how they met, not you," Kim rudely said.
"Why are you being so hostile, Kim? I'm just asking her a question," Rosa responded.
"Like hell you were," Roxanne muttered under her breath.
"I'm surprised that Adrían is even dating somebody that's well...you know...like her," Allegra spoke up. Monet cocked an eyebrow at that statement.
"The hell is that supposed to mean, Allegra?!" Roxanne asked defensively.
Before she could stop herself, Monet blurted out what she was thinking, "The hell do you mean by that?"
The other cousins at the table looked between the two women as they watched the scene unfold before them.
"Explain it to us so we can whoop your ass," Kim snapped.
"Nothing, except that Adrían has obviously downgraded in the last couple of years," She smirked. Monet couldn't just let her slide with that bullshit at all. No the fuck she could not.
"Listen here, Advil, I don't know what the FUCK you're trying to imply here, but you better watch your god damn mouth before somebody knocks your dumbass out," Monet spat venomously. It's been a while since she got into a fight with somebody and she knew that if home girl kept talking, then she would show her what a real ass whooping looked like.
"Wow. He really has downgraded. Your kind always gets so violent for no reason," Allegra chuckled.
"Hm. I'm surprised his mother even allowed her in the house," Rosa agreed. Silently, Monet got up from her seat and walked over to Allegra. The woman smirked up at her.
"What? You going-" She was cut off as soon as Monet's fist connected with her face. The woman fell backwards in the chair and onto the grass. Every single one of Adrían's relatives, along with Adrían himself, rushed over.
"OH MIERDA!" Kim exclaimed loudly.
"Ella la noqueó!" Roxanne said in surprise. Monet ignored the presence of everyone else and turned to Rosa, who stood up from her chair.
"You fucking black bitch," Roxanne spat. She ran up to Monet ready to swing, but Monet managed to dodge that hit and got her clean in the jaw. Roxanne folded to the ground like a chair.
"Monet, what the hell happened?" Adrían asked in shock.
"What? I knocked them out," She answered.
"I can see that, but why?" He inquired.
"You heard what she said Adrían," Monet responded.
"Jesus Christ. What happened?" Adrían's mother asked looking at the two knocked out women.
"They were saying some racist crap to Monet, Tía," Kim informed.
"Mhm. Monet knocked both of them out," Bri added.
"She was justified in doing it too," Selma said.
"Only a matter of time before somebody knocked her ass out though," Maddie snickered.
"Well, take those two inside and lay them on the couch. They'll be leaving once they get a beating they won't forget," Adrían's mom informed. The two women were carried inside by two of the male cousins while everyone else was thanking Monet for knocking out Allegra and Rosa.
"Wow. They must really dislike those two with a passion," Monet thought to herself. Soon, everyone went back to enjoying themselves like before.
As for Adrían, he turned to Monet with a look in his eyes that made her panties wet.
"Screw holding off on sex. Be ready when we leave," He simply stated before walking off.
"That is one thing I never ever wanted to hear come from my cousin's mouth," Kim remarked.
"Mhm. Nasty asses," Bri agreed. Monet giggled with a grin and sat down again at the table.
"I'm glad you knocked both of their asses out. I sort of love Rosa, but I can't fucking stand her ass at all. She's so reckless at the mouth that it's not even funny," Selma ranted.
"And that puta she keeps bringing with her is extra annoying too. We already whooped her ass three years ago when she had broke his heart and we made sure that it was an ass whooping she would never forget," Maddie explained.
"You did us all service because one more second of her racist ass, reckless mouth and she would have left in a body bag," Bri said.
"Oh believe me. A body bag would have been needed if they kept talking," Monet told them.
"See? I knew I liked you from the moment I met you," Bri grinned.
"Like her? Girl, I love her after what she did," Selma chirped.
"Anybody that can put those two in their places is good in my book," Roxanne added. The women, including Monet, began talking about just normal stuff as they say there. Monet could honestly say that she was enjoying the company of her husband's cousins. She was expecting something scary to happen, but instead got something more pleasant and not nerve wracking at all.
Once the cookout was over and everything was all cleaned, everyone began heading home. They all told Monet to drop by their homes anytime and that she should join them for mass, which made her happy to hear because it meant that they approved of her.
"You two get home safely," Adrían's mom said.
"We will, Mom," Adrían hugged his mother and kissed her on the cheek.
"Thank you for everything," Monet smiled.
"You're welcome, sweetie. You come back and visit any time. I'll show you some of Adrían's baby pictures," The older woman responded.
"Baby pictures?" Monet smirked.
"Yes, especially the one where-"
"That's all the time we need for that!" Adrían loudly exclaimed. The two women giggled.
"I'll send you a pic," His mom winked at her.
"Okay," Monet chortled. Monet and Adrían got into the car and drove off to his place.
"So did you really mean what you said earlier?" Monet asked. She was hoping that he would say yes, but somehow she had a feeling that he might say no. Hopefully, he'll say yes so she can release some pent up feelings from the past couple of days. Masturbating was fine, but nothing beats a man who knows what he's doing as well as works together with the vibrator.
"Yes," He sighed.
"So you're going back on your word?" Monet smirked.
"Yes," He mumbled.
"Cute, but no," She giggled.
"What?" He asked.
"You heard me. No. We're gonna stick to what you said," She smirked.
"What why? I thought you wanted to end this torture," He said.
"I did, but watching the suffer is going to be fun," She grinned devilishly.
"You're evil," He remarked.
"Oh I know, baby, but you'll have to deal with it," She smiled, "I'm not gonna completely cut you off. I might just send you a couple pictures and videos."
"That's just going to make it harder for me," He groaned.
"It is, but you wanted this and so you got it," She smiled.
"So what am I supposed to do about this?" He asked.
"Jerk off in the bathroom," She replied simply. He groaned again and began cursing himself under his breath. He really shot himself in the foot with this one. He thought she would be the first to crack, but it was him.
"Anyways, mind if I sleep over? We can watch movies or whatever," She said.
"You're hellbent on prolonging my suffering?" He narrowed his eyes at her.
"Oh definitely. I'm gonna be in that house parading myself around in the skimpiest outfits in my closet," She explained.
"I really shot myself in the foot with this," He mumbled.
"You betcha."
