"I think," Beatrix whispered, inching closer toward Zera. "We're better off fighting with zombies."
Their team was standing by the entryway of the pantry. It was in the same building where their sleeping quarters were.
It was where breakfast was being served. Or rather machine served. There was a substantial oven-like metal in one corner with a wide open tray at the end, rolling out plates of food.
For them to get to that corner, Zera and her friends needed to pass by the entire rows and rows of tables filled with the other players who looked at them with varying expressions.
Some were interested. A few were wary, and most looked amused, like they were new prey among dangerous lions.
Zera looked at Beatrix and tapped her on the shoulders.
"I prefer this from the zombies, sorry." Beatrix chuckled before raising her chin and taking in a deep breath.
