Zera and her friends found themselves walking along a crystal path that hovered several meters high from the training ground itself.
Far below them, Zera could see that the other players had broken out into teams. Each of those teams wore VR headsets and seemed to be in total concentration.
"Wow," Astherielle stared at their surroundings. "This seemed so surreal. We were running from the zombies for what felt like an eternity, and then this. It's like having that big break from all that running. My arms are no longer stinging."
"Yeah," Jaspreth agreed. "This felt so much better compared to the zombie fest. And Zera managed to get rid of the mega zombie in one blow."
Jaspreth acted out being blown up with his hands. Zera rolled her eyes but didn't say anything. She was more curious about what the simulation would be like.
