Cheng Ru Shi's POV
"Shing-er don't forget me okay? Whatever happens please don't forget me. If you think you miss me, just look at this bracelet, okay?
"Okay, I promise. You too big brother. Don't forget me"
"I'll never forget. Not even second will I forget you. Always take care okay? And be a good boy"
"I'm already a good boy"
"I know"
I hug him back again and take a quick kiss into his cheeks. I even saw him blush in red while hiding his face using his palms.
"I'll take a good care of this big brother"
I caress the bracelet like it's some kind of treasure. It is indeed a treasure anyway. It took me almost 3 goddamn days for the materials to arrive. And 2 sleepless nights just to make the design. A total worthy effort.
After our dramatic farewell, I went back to the old man's manor.
"You're finally back. I thought you found a liking in here"
"I'm sorry father"
"Get in the car, we're leaving now"
"What why? I thought it'll be later"
"JUST GO IN. DON'T FUCKING ASKED ANYTHING"
"I'm sorry"

~9 years later~
SY CITY
(Shing-er, I can finally see you again. I... I really missed you)
I quick ran to the forest the moment the car stops on my private villa.
For 19 years, they didn't allow me to go back here. Just because the contractual marriage they planned didn't work out, they blame it all to me. Those years of torture is now finally ended. I can finally fly now. The shackles around my feet are already broken. I'm finally out of that cage. I can finally be with you.
When i reached Shing-er's home, I froze. The house is... ruined.
No Mr. and Mrs. Xaoi. No beautiful garden. No happy laughter. No..... Shing-er.
(This...this cant be real. They're maybe somewhere close by. Maybe Mr. and Mrs. Xaoi just don't have time fixing their home. Maybe Shing-er's still waiting for me inside. He won't leave me right? He told me that he'll wait for me. We will still play like before. They can all leave me but not Shing-er. Not him. He can't leave)
I run towards the front door, slamming it open. I call out Shing-er's name again and again, but no use. No one responded me even once.
The house that once have a warm atmosphere suddenly become cold. The home that accept me for what I am is now no we're to be found.
The house is a complete mess. Dust and spider web scattered all over the place like it was abandoned a long time ago.
"Shing-er, where are you? I'm back. Big brother's back*sob* please come out*sob*I want to see you. Big brother misses you so much*sob*"
My voice suddenly crack. Tears started to fall. The feeling of being left alone again lingers like a freezing cold. The weather's nice. The sun shines bright like a huge lightbulb lighting up the world but mine...is dark, empty, incomplete. Something is lacking. My heart is alive,beating like it won't stop but without reason.
Without him, the world I created is useless. Without him, my sacrifices will be in vain. Without him, who will I be?
It's because of him, I found a light in this world. Because of him I became strong. Because of him, I feel like I can be someone better. Because of him, I...I like him. I like everything about him. He is my world, my hope, my salvation, my life.
I wipe out my tears and ready to walk out of the house when I notice the wall. The huge dragon painting is gone. Even the figurines are missing. Only one thing is for sure, they moved in somewhere.
(I'll find you, Shing-er. Even if I turn the world upsidedown. Even if it's the end of hell. I'll find you. I will find you)

~5 months later~
I still can't figure out why they suddenly left. Why they abandon the house. I keep on searching them. I even hired a private investigator to locate them, but with no luck. They most like vanish into the thin air.
I was inside in a small coffee shop I own to meet a new private investigator.
#note: this is the 12th private investigator he found and the shop is only a branch. It is not really small but since he's a rich kid everything that smaller than his house is like a cat house in his eyes#
"Here's your order, Sir. Please enjoy"
The waitress put my ordered food in the table while smiling at me trying to flirt. I only nodded at here while she's still standing in front.
"I don't need anything else"
Using my monotone and an annoyed look, the waitress suddenly retreated.
I was scrolling through my phone when the cashier in the counter suddenly citied a very familiar name.
"Little Shing, you're here again"
"Haha yes"
" For your uncle, right? Do you still want the same?"
"No, big sister. Uncle was forbidden to drink coffee for the meantime. It's for me"
"Ho, it's my first time taking your order. What do you want then? It's on me"
"Really? Then can I have a cappuccino with a lot of whip cream?"
"Ofcourse. For my little Shing. I even gonna put an extra specially for you"
"Thank you big sister"
"You're always welcome. Have a sit first while I'm making your special order"
I stared at the man standing in the counter the whole time until he sit in a free chair next to me. I look at him intently. From his face down to his....that bracelet. I know that bracelet. It's the same bracelet I gave to Shing-er.
He look at me when he notice that I was looking at him. Then he smile.
That eyes, it's the same as his. Even the smile. How I missed those smile.
I was about to stand near him when the cashier called him out.
"Little Shing, your special order is ready"
"I even put extra as promise"
"Thank you big sister. I'll head out now"
"Okay take care"
"You too big sister"
"Send my regards to your uncle okay?"
"Yes, I will"
Then he head out of the coffee shop. I followed his way until I couldn't see him.

A smile form into my lips. I quickly dial the private investigator telling him that the meeting is cancelled. What's the point of meeting him if I already found the person myself.
I walk to the counter and ask the cashier about Shing-er's address. She refused at first but when I told him my name he quickly write it down in a piece of paper.
She handed it to me while trembling, afraid of being fired. I took the paper and head out of the shop. I look at the paper and went straight to my destination.
When I reach it, I look at the signage above. It says 'Ben's Pet Clinic'
"Clinic eh?"
Without thinking much, I went inside the clinic slamming open the door making everyone inside startled.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry I was just looking for someone"
"Who are you looking for, young man?"
A man not above his 50 asked. He's wearing a white long uniform that of a doctor.
"I am the owner of this clinic. May I know who's your looking for?"
"I'm sorry to disturb you, Sir. I uhh I'm looking for Shing-er. I mean Xaoi Shing. Is he here?"
The shop owner look at me with curiosity.
"What do you want from my nephew?"
"Nephew? I.. uhh I am his friend sort of big brother. My name is Cheng Ru Shi"
Shocked can be found in his face. Even his customer gasps from hearing my name.
"Wait here"
The shop owner said, leaving me alone in the front door, all eyes around me. Some even took a picture. Didn't mind it anyway.
A couple of minutes passed when a familiar figure came out of the room.
His face was in shocked. He run towards me with an open arms that I quickly accepted.
"Big brother, you're back. Your finally back. I missed you so much"
"Yes I'm back. I missed you too, too much. Sorry it took me a long time"
He then pulled out the hug. A visible water can be seen in the side of his eyes.
"Why are you crying?"
"I'm just happy. I thought I would never see you again"
"I'm sorry"
"It's okay. By the way how did you found this place?"
"That's an easy job"
(Seriously, it's not easy to look for you)
"I only saw you an hour ago in the coffee shop. How did you know it was me?"
I smile at him while pointing out his wrist.
"Oh I see. Thank God you still recognize it"
"Ofcourse, I made that one"
"Come in big brother, let's have a chat inside. Oh I forgot, I should call you Master Cheng now"
"Silly, I still prefer you calling me big brother"
"That won't do. I was only 10 at that time. It's awkward to continue calling you like that. How about Ru Shi?"
"Okay, do what ever you want"
We head inside his uncle's office. We talk a lot of things. He even officially introduce me to his uncle. From that moment I realized that I am no longer alone....again.
(End of Flashback)
When we reach our destination, it is already 7pm. Shing-er is still sleeping. I don't want to disturb his sleep that's why I took him out from the car and carry him to his own room. Yes Shing-er has its own room. I made it just for him. That's how he's special to me.
