Wind aggressively blew through Ravynne's hair, scattering the long silky honey brown locks in the air. She held her hand up to her face, partly to shield her face from the rogue strands that were whipping her every which way. Verlian paid no mind to the wind which surprised Ravynne as it felt almost like she would be blown away at any moment.
"Verlian, can we stop and wait for this to pass? I can't walk like this anymore!" She was forced to shout in order to be heard over the howling wind. Verlian stopped a moment and looked back at a Ravynne, who had lagged quite a far bit behind him.
"We shouldn't delay our trip to Veliston any farther." He walked back to her and placed his hand on her back to help pull her forward. They'd already spent precious time by stopping early to connect as a couple, and if they had just waited to get to Veliston like he originally wanted then they wouldn't be dealing with this awful wind.
