That's how Erik would run his bootcamp so none of the branches would see any other as weaker because they will all go through the same bootcamp but receive easier or more strict training once they get to their branch.
Erik called for a meeting of the most renowned warriors in the clan to start training them in the way of the soldier.
A few months had passed and today was the second month of fall and Erik being the only one who knew today's date decided that he would finally introduce paper to this world and start selling it as a good to the rest of the world alongside glass.
This would bring a stable income to The Empire since only him and a few select people would know the exact way to make these items. As for safety on production Erik had VICKI place markers on these people and once they decided to leak his secrets without him giving permission, they would meet an untimely demise.
He had to make those who would try to leak information about his Empire or products dealt with accordingly. Erik would not allow corruption and greed in his Empire for it was the root of a majority of the problems on Earth.
Erik, who was losing track of what he was doing due to his inner monolog, hurried over to the Chemical Industry.
{Maybe I am the villain of this world with that inner monolog} Erik thought.
Erik quickly made his way towards Tom, the big boss of the Chemical Industry and began discussing with him what he wanted, of course it was paper and with the basics to engineering he taught to the Building Industry. They quickly learned a few more basic machinery like conveyor belts, mechanical presses, mixers, and many other smaller things.
"You're crazy Erik, you want to mass produce parchment, it takes weeks to dry."
"No, Tom, this is paper far superior to parchment in every way possible."
It was time for Erik to explain how paper was far superior to parchment to Tom. A half an hour passed and Erik was finally finished explaining how paper was better than parchment due to the chemicals used to make paper.
Erik then led Tom and a few workers towards the backroom of the Chemical Industry that he had labeled as off limits until Erik said so. Today was the day that the room would no longer be off limits, starting the production of paper, an invention so smart that it would flip this world on its head.
As they entered the room Tom and the workers saw a lot of machines that he had never seen before, all probably invented by Erik who somehow never seemed to run out of world defying contraptions in his head.
Erik had these machines delivered here a few weeks ago and this is when he issued the order to the room being off limits.
Erik pressed a button on the wall and the entire factory came to life with machines. Now, it was time for him to show them the step by step process of making paper.
First, he walked over to a barrel of plants named the Khipotle Stem and grabbed a large amount and threw them in boiling water, and waited for fifteen minutes. Next, Erik pulled a lever on the side of the vat and the liquid started to flow out from the bottom and down a tube.
After that, It was put into what Erik called a mixer which he then hit a button and a few chemicals flowed out until Erik pressed the button again. Once the chemicals stopped Erik pressed another button and the mixer started to spin at inhuman stirring speeds. Finally, when the mixture was done flowing he pressed a third button and the mixture was poured out from the side onto the conveyor and moved down until an anti stick press smashed the mixture into sheets, and a long oven which the sheets were led into until they came out the other end as paper.
Tom and his workers were all amazed it took months for them to get parchment from other countries around the world not even adding the amount of time it took the other countries to make the paper but Erik had made over 100 sheets in less than a hour.
'Any questions?" asked Erik.
A few raised their hands and Erik chose one of the female workers Erin he believed.
"Your Majesty, are you heaven sent?" asked Erin.
Erik burst into laughter not at the question but at himself if he decided to give her a real answer.
"No, I am not heaven sent and my name is Erik or Erik son of Erling not Your Majesty" said Erik.
"Sorry but I cannot call someone of your intelligence by his name when you are far superior towards me," said Erin.
Everyone else in the room all shook their heads in agreement and refused to call such a wise man by his name. They all felt it would be disrespectful towards him and the heavens.
"Ok you may call me what you please but don't take it overboard."
"Thank you, Your Majesty." they all said in unison.
Now that the weirdly odd conversation was over he handed them a paper with writing on it labeled CONTRACT in bold letters. This piece of paper read as following;
