Chapter 1 - Prologue

Youichi Haruhiko was a student at one of the top schools in Tokyo. Currently, he was in his third year at the school.

Haru had a pleasant personality for everyone. He was always enthusiastic about his day-to-day, making those around him think that he was a likable boy and his smile would always make the mood more positive. Also, He had a handsome face, a tall body—looked ideal and charming—he was perfect! It's no wonder that many girls idolized him and wanted to be his girlfriend, plus he was in the football club at his school and got a lot of achievements in it.

Because of his popularity, the girls named him "school prince".

But unfortunately, besides that popularity, he was a lazy boy who always skipped his class, and no wonder some of his exams got bad scores.

But still, he would drive many girls crazy!

However, there was one thing that no one would ever know about him, which was that Haru was gay. It did not take long for Haru to realize his sexual attraction since he was in Junior High School.

In his first year at High school, he realized that his interest in a girl was nothing. He had tried to have relationships with many girls to make sure that what he felt was just nonsense. But unfortunately, the more he wanted to prove that it was just his presuppositions, the more he realized that he had no interest whatsoever in the girls and all he was doing was forcing himself to do stupid things to manipulate himself.

It was different when he was looking at the boys. He could even judge the boys he met well, 'such as how handsome is that boy? He has a nice look!' He also thought that all of this had proven that a boy did have a better attraction than a girl.

All this time, no one knew that Haru had secretly loved a boy named Takayashi Daiki for a long time, a boy who was in a different class from him.

Takayashi Daiki was also an idol at the school. He was Haru's rival. He was handsome and tall. Unlike Haru, Daiki was a very intelligent boy. From the first year to the third year, he was always in the first rank on the student ranking board.

In contrast to Haru, Daiki's cold and indifferent nature made him known as the 'Smarty Iceman'' by the girls at their school due to his great academic achievements and his handsome cold face like a wonderful ice wall.

That's what made Haru interested and ended up falling in love with the cold boy for almost three years.

It's just that, even though Haru had a crush on Daiki for a long time, the boy Haru loved did not know about his feelings at all since they were in their first year at the school until they met.

That time, Haru went to meet his friend at the archery club, and accidentally saw Daiki who was training at that club. Daiki's cold and indifferent attitude made Haru feel a flutter in his chest that he had never felt before for girls. And from that moment on, he also believed that his first love was a boy named Takayashi Daiki.

Since then, Haru took the time to wait for Daiki after training. Even though just seeing at Daiki from a distance, already made Haru feel so happy.

Unfortunately, Haru had never talked to Daiki even once, let alone confess his feelings for almost three years.

Apart from not being brave, he also never got that chance.

Yes, a cold person like Daiki was not someone easy to get along with. Besides, Haru had thought that Daiki was straight, so confessing his feelings to a straight boy was the same as letting all the students in his school mock him.

However, that unbearable feeling made Haru have the courage to find out many things about Daiki. So, even though they had never talked to each other, Haru still knew a lot about Daiki because he had always stalked Daiki for a long time.

One day, Haru surprisingly got a chance to talk to Daiki. And surely, Haru did not want to waste that chance to get closer.

Being close to Daiki was something he had always hoped for, but things did not always turn out the way he wanted.

Everything was full of twists and turns like a roller coaster.
